PKYEK writers honestly got lazy after Ekta stopped her supervision, thats why you could see the quality of the show dip.

Maithili getting turned into a vampire made no sense. The way vampires were created in PKYEK, it was some three consecutive bites on full moon nights. So there was no way Sid could turn Maithili into a vampire the night he got bit the first time. And wouldn't Maithili have perished in the fire by the time he got to her? Physics, biology, chemistry all out of the window 😆

What bugged me the most about the Maithili track was why she chose to remain hidden for a hundred or so years. We knew Katherine stayed away because initially she was shown to be this cold, manipulative bitch but as the series went on we found out she was on the run from Klaus and that's why she came back to Mystic Falls after a 100 years i.e to give Elena to Klaus.

Maithili would have run to her Abhayendra the minute she would come to know he is alive. Also there was no way Matihili was stronger than both Abhay and Sid. Even the bit where Abhay is said to be the strongest vampire ever made no sense to me. At least give us a damn reason!

And when Maithili appeared wearing that cheap polyester gown I was like wtf man didn't ur lover buy you clothes in hundred years, he is a freaking businessman 🤣

Even Katherine used to dress up freaking stylishly according to the time era! Why was Maithili in that gown?! Logic gaya tel lene 🤣

Sid was my favourite after Abhay and T, I wish he would've stayed on longer. It was the only time I felt bad when a villain died on ITV.

Indian TV has to really stop this 5 days a week telecast and start following the seasons patterns. Especially after COVID you would think CINTAA would start making progressive changes but no, same old bullshit saas-bahu crap. If I am in the mood for some Hindi/Urdu show I watch Pakistani shows. They too follow the seasons pattern and a show may not last more than 30-40 episodes. That way you'd not get bored and actors aren't type-casted because they played one iconic role for 10+ years. There is no unnecessary drama and SFX too. Its so much better than the crap we get here.

see I watched it on the sly 🤣 listen teens here in the U.S. wouldn’t mind as much, I know this because my whole friend group used to watch it when we were younger 🤣

If ITV starts doing seasons instead of daily, I’ll have some high hopes again. But they have to change their formula 😆 I think the web series stuff is starting to take off but it’s still a long way to go

I know its not a big deal in the US and trust me I don't care much for intimate scenes but it was weird how these teenage shows just revolve around sex. Like a potential couple might not even love each other or be together but they already start sleeping.

Relationships in teen dramas seem to be based on only love and sex which is insane. Don't these people talk 😆 Its really strange how "sitcoms" (which are mainly comedy) get romance right and build it up but romantic shows only focus on sex.

Also I did not want my parents to walk in while Elena was tearing off Damon's shirt 😆 My mom did not mind sex jokes in sitcoms or even sex scenes, in fact we would watch Grey's Anatomy, Dexter etc together. But showing teens do all that would just piss her off if ukwim.

And idk if u have noticed but there is alot of emphasis on sex scenes in CW shows, unlike the adults tv shows. Remember the pilot of Gossip Girl? There was literal thrusting and moaning when Serena and Nate are going at it. Again I saw it for the first time as an adult and felt it was unnecessarily so explicit. Whereas Meredith and Derek in the hospital room in season 2, most of the stuff was implied but that scene was hot.

Although I am sure teenagers love them scenes. Its like the makers are playing with teen hormones 😆

Well the future is web series for India unless TV changes. Coz the demographic ITV focusses on is actually getting older. Soon their target market will be our age group but we don't watch shit anymore. And by then it'll be too late for TV.

With the Abhay-Sid track they were trying to recreate Stefan and Damon from season 1 aka villain Damon who drinks, parties and sleeps around. Stefan was scared of Damon because he was stronger, consumed human blood and would just go on a rampage spree that Stefan would be unable to control while stealing Elena.

Abhay being stronger is actually bs coz its established human blood drinkers are stronger than animal blood drinkers. So Sid should have been stronger in the physical sense but Chand and Haseena would be stronger than Sid due to their age.

teens can be rash and hormonal dude 🤣 they do probably enjoy it. It might be because of the hookup culture / casual sex however. I never watched gossip girl, but CW is a pretty standout channel for catering to this stuff more. It’s its own bubble kinda.

Back to Abhay, that makes sense. But then the makers goofed by calling him the strongest. Another loophole! 🤣🤣

I was bullied in school so I had no one to talk about it there unless I came across someone from a different grade or classroom 😆

But I did have friends in my building, we used to play less and talk more 🤣

It's really okay you feel so sad that Piya didn't deserve Abhay but is it necessary to degrade other character to this core i am sorry to say being a PKYEK fan it offended me a lot...A healthy talk is okay but this looked more like toxic everyone has flaws definitely Piya had and even Abhay had despite being vampire he was not always right he was not right when he used to hide truth from her the trust issue in relationship was created by Abhay neither Piya i understand whatever he did was for her safety but didn't piya deserve to know and about self-respect despite being humiliated she couldn't stay away even if she want to because she was in love and next abhay seriously never left her alone he was the one always roaming around her yes piya was wrong when she ran away after knowing the truth but wasn't that expected think from her pov how can she accept the change so soon she needed time which was indeed good because after that we got to see the real intensity of their love specially of Piya she came back for him not for Abhay she knew but for Abhay the Vampire whom she loved truly and dearly despite his different nature...the attraction was definitely because she looked like Maithili but Abhay loved Piya for who she was and how she accepted him with every flaws likely he accepted her with all her flaws and more than he ever loved Maithali when you guys take out the flaw in one think about other side as well even that person has flaw which you kind of deny and the reason for them being soulmate is their unconditional love for each other there were many third person in their relationship but their heart was always one...being a human Piya stayed strong in their relationship she was always there for Abhay when he needed her like he was their love passed every test before they became one...

Every person has flaw but love conquers it all...True love is when you accept the person despite their flaws and AbhiYa always belonged to each other despite their differences...sorry if i wrote too much but seeing all these I just couldn't stop myself...
