"Happy birthday !!! " everyone said it loud in unison, waking up piya.Rubbing the sleep from her eyes she sat up and smiled. Her parents, sister ,uncle and aunt along with her cousin brother were all standing there near her bed. They wished her again in unison, and piya thanked them. "Here," her cousin brother gave her the eyeglasses from bedside table. She wore them, thanking him. "Anything for the birthday girl, " he smiled, fluttering his hand in her curly hair.

"Ah, don't do this. You know I hate it" she grumble. He just smiled widely. Her mother came to her and kissed on both her cheeks. "Mom, Not you too." piya rumbled, rubbing her cheeks. Her mother ignored her complain and observe the bandage on her forehead with worried face.

"I'm fine, Mom " Piya said immediately, hugging her. She tried to distract her but failed.

"Why hadn't you told us, Nick? " asked her uncle to her cousin brother.

"It wasn't anything serious, dad." He replied calmly, "She had slipped on the bathroom floor. Her forehead had hit the wall, as a result she has gotten a minor injury. We took her to the doctor. She is fine, Don't worry." He knew what to say, and he said it effortlessly. Same thing he had said to them last night.

"Still, if she was that much hurt, You should have woken us up." Aunt Jena scolded him.

"I wanted to but Alina did let me." Nick put the blame on her cousin sister. Why he should be blamed when he actually had played no role in this mess.

Piya sat there in silence as all eyes turned at alina. She looked at her with pleading face, but piya wasn't in mood to help her anymore. Alina was responsible for this mess, and she should take care of it by herself.

Seeing no help was coming for her, alina spoke up "C'mon, don't ruin her special day with all this. We told you everything last night. Let's not repeat it again. It's her birthday after all. " she said with fake enthusiasm. Piya felt like laughing seeing alina' failed attempt to divert everyone' mind, but she controlled her laugh, and let alina continue her attempt. It wasn't easy and it didn't work.Their parents were furious with her. Uncle sam & aunt jena were furious with nick. And, Piya just enjoyed the show, Finally something good was happening on her birthday. It was fun for her. Although she felt little bit bad for nick, because he had nothing to with anything. He just came because alina had phoned him. But Alina deserve every bit of scolding she was getting.

When finally their scolding session ended, piya and Alina left alone in the room. Alina threw herself on the bed, "that was Crazy ! " She breathed. Piya Couldn't control anymore, and started laughing. "That was fun," She said between her laugh, lying next to her.

"Now you are laughing, huh? " Alina grab a pillow and beat her with it. "Why you had to get yourself hit by That damn Car? "

"Because truck and train were out of order in that Area."

"Just shut up your smart-ass mouth ! " She said annoyingly, beating her even more with pillow.

"Then don't ask dumbass questions " Piya replied as matter of faculty. Alina threw pillow on the bed, and remain lying there in Silence for few minutes. She took a long breath and got herself out of the bed, piya stayed lie on her place. "Let's go. Everyone is waiting for us on breakfast table."

"You go, and tell mom to get a painkiller for me. I'll be there in a minute. "

"What doctor Said about your wound? Don't you need to Consult him before taking anymore painkillers? " Alina asked.

"He said I can take One or two painkillers. I had concussion, though nothing serious. My forehead wound will heal soon, and It might leave A scar. " Piya replied.

"Oh, it means you'll become female version of Harry potter. " Alina gave a casual shrug to her shoulder " It'll Suit you."

Piya grab a pillow and threw at her "Get out," she uttered. Alina laugh and rushed out of the Room, leaving piya alone.

When she left, piya touch her wound over the bandage lightly. The left side of her head had gotten the hit. Even a her light touch was causing her pain. She could just prayed that it wouldn't leave her with a Scar. She got up from the bed and came to mirror. "God," she gasped as she saw herself in the mirror. She looked wierd, or more like sick with that bandage wrapping around her head. Her Curly hairs never looked this messy. There was a minor bruise near her ear. Wow, What a look to Enter with into 18th year of Her life ! She thought derisively.
She need to ask her mom to change the dressing, at least then she could Comb her hairs and tie them into a ponytail before going out. They had plans for her birthday and She wouldn't reuin anything.

She sat on the bedside. She hadn't told Alina everything about last night and she fully willing to keep it like that only. She didn't want to tell her anything about AR. Alina was a diehard fan of him, but piya always disliked him and last night had not changed anything at all.

"You Won't get any taxi from here, " AR said, He was sitting on the driver seat of his Car, and Piya was standing at the roadside. "I'll manage, " She said Looking toward the road. She didn't want to go with him. "Just Go, " She Said, adding "I don't want to be seen with you. I enjoy my Anonymous life very much."

"Don't worry, You aren't my type." He Smirked, but She was totally unaffected by his remark.

"Good," She said wryly "Go tell this to paparazzi first." Damn why the hell there wasn't any taxi there?! She cursed under her breath.

"I'm saying again, Get into my car and I will drop you where ever you want to go. " He said lazily, His back of the head was resting on the head board of the Seat. She was taking his too much time, but he didn't want to leave her alone at this hour of night. "The best way of avoiding Paparazzi is get going. " He told.Seeing no other way, Piya unwillingly agreed. She hopped into his car and sat on passenger seat. He started the Car .

She was Silent, watching outside the window. "Who's Alina?" He sudenly asked , totally surprising her. She whipped her head toward him so hastily that it caused her pain in the wound, and a moan of pain left her mouth.

"Are you okay?" He asked with concern, His eyes turn to her.

"Eyes on the Road," She snapped at him "Don't you think you have already injured me enough for a night?"

"Hey," He look offended "How could you say that? ...I have saved Your life."

"Yeah, Only after almost killing me, " She said sharply, adding "I know it was you, So don't act like a saviour."

Abhay felt pin down in that situation. He thought she didn't remember that who had hit her by the car and He could safely say her that he only found her on the road. He had a plan to get away with the blame of her accident but now it wouldn't work. Nevertheless, he tried. "Well, I don't know what are you talking about, " He dismissed her accusation, and continue saying "Someone had hit you by the car and ran off. Thank God I saw you before it was too late and took you to the docter."

"Don't worry, I won't File any Complaint against you." She said cooly

"You won't ??" His head turn to her with a Surprise.

"Eyes on the road, Sir. " She said in a fake formal voice. He did what
she asked him to do. Looking at road he asked her "Why won't you file any complaint against me if you know it was me."

"Because You didn't ran off and took me to the doctor, taking full responsibility of your mistake. That's enough for me, " she sighed "plus, I don't wish to see your face ever again in my life.I'am done with you." He opened his mouth to say but she cut him off
by asking "Why did you asked about alina?"

"Oh, " He reminded. He took out a cell phone from his pocket and gave it to her. She saw it was hers and grab it. "She was making calls to you continuesly when you were unconscious. I had to switch it off because it just didn't stop ringing." He told her.

"Oh God ! " Piya cursed. She had totally forgotten about alina. She woukd have been sacred to death when didn't find her there. What if alina was Still there, waiting for her. Piya urgently switch on her phone, She needed to tell her that she was fine. Alina had gone to the Restaurant because of that very person who right now was sitting in car with piya. She glared at him "You could have received the phone when it was ringing and told her about my accident. "

"I wanted to. But when I received her call She didn't let me a say word. She was like 'I saw AR. I saw AR..' she was going all gaga over it. Except that she just told that she was coming out of restaurant and then disconnected the call. After that I didn't pick any of her call. She seems like my big fan and I couldn't ruin my image in front of her"

"Yeah, " Piya exhale "You could Only ruin my face. " She murmured.

"C'mon, " He showed offence on what she just said "you slapped me leaving a red mark on my face. What about that ? " He tried to blame her at least for something. She gave him a contrived smile, "Do you know, before you showed up this top was just plain lime yellow in Colour? " She said pointing a finger at her top where it had blood spots, showing him that he was in no place to blame her for anything.

And, he got her silent msg. "Fine, you are forgiven," He said, giving a casual shrug to his shoulder.

"But you are not, and you will never be." Piya replied clearly, checking her phone. She found so many missed calls and msgs from alina. She Call her back and alina picked her phone just after one Ring. "Piya, God where are you?" She sound worried sick.

"I'm fine. I'm fine " Piya said twice . "Where are you? are you still at the restaurant? "

"No, I looked for you, Tried to call you, But you didn't answer. Are you okay? Where did you disappear and Why? You are the one with driving licence and car keys.. How could you leave me there like that, was it some sort of revenge for taking you with me forcefully? "

"Stop shouting Alina. You are giving me Headache " Piya answer back.

Alina Continue as if piya hadn't even said anything "I had to Call Nick. He brought spare keys of car and Drive me back. He told me that you weren't even at home. Where the hell you are? "

"So you are at home. Don't worry I'm coming there. " She said calmly.

"No, I'm not exactly at home. We've got a problem here. " She said meekly. Piya screamed in her head hearing the word 'Problem', She just wanted to go away from this problem filled night. "We are busted. Everyone has woken up at home. Uncle & dad are continuesly making calls to me and nick. They has find out we aren't home."

"Now what? " Piya asked, tired. This was the only thing had left to happen.

"We are doomed, Obviously. Have to face them but Can't go without you. " Alina state the obvious.

"I'm coming, where are you two?" She asked and Alina told that they were sitting in car just few blocks away from Uncle Sam' house. Piya told abhay to take the left turn from there.

"One more thing, " She said to alina "I had an accident, and Accordingly, have a bandage on my head and few Bruises here and there."

"What ?! " Alina yelled with Sock. She tried to ask her how did it happen, but piya interrupted "Yes, Now it's upto you how to explain this to Mom and Dad. Be prepared. Because If I have to tell them, I would tell the truth. I'm done for tonight." She told sharply, and before alina could react to it , she disconnected the call. Within second, her phone started ringing. It was Alina again.

"What? " Piya said with disinterested tone.

"Although you have gotten us in trouble, and have ruined my All excitement of Seeing AR..and I hate you for that.Still, Happy Birthday, Sis. " She wished her, totally Surprising her. In all that happening Piya had totally forgotten about her birthday. She could hear alina smile on phone. "A very happy birthday, Li'll Sis. " She heard her cousin brother Nick yelling over the phone, Then Alina wished her again and told her to come soon before disconnecting the phone.

Piya never expected her 18th birthday to began like this. It was around 1:30 in the night, but She was unconscious most of the time in last two hours, and the first person who was with her on her birthday was unexpected and also very much unwanted. It felt like Her and alina' wishes had gotten exchange with each other. it was Someone's sick prank, maybe.

She sighed, hoping that all the bad things had happened, and rest of the day would be good for her.

"Hey Four-eyed girl, come back to this world." AR poke at her shoulder, trying to get her attention as she seemed to lost in her head. She jerk his hand away, giving her angry face. "You are so cute, " He laughed Seeing her face.

"Shut up." She said angrily. She brought her hands to back of her head and hold all her hairs together to tie them into a ponytail. But when habitually She searched her wrist for rubber band, She didn't find it. "Where is my rubber band?" She asked him.

"Huh?"

"My rubber band?" She asked, Showing her wrist to him.

"Oh, Doc took it away when he was treating you. " He looked at her, She was sitting with holding her hairs in one hand. "You should let your hairs loose, because You have a quite visible Bruise here, " And then without any hesitation he touched her near the ear, "Here," He told.

"Don't touch me, " She immediately jerk his hand away, leaving hairs.

"Sorry," He apologized, but look very much unapologetic " I don't have a habit of keeping my hand to myself. Specialy, when I'm with a girl. " He smiled Derisively.

"Geez," She shook her head in disgust, And He Smiled broadly.

Piya was more than happy when they finally reached near her house She just wanted run out of the car. She told him to stop the car at the turning point of street and he did. She could see nick' car at the distance, and didn't want alina to see that who had brought piya home.

"So, which one is your house out of all these. " He asked while looking towards the houses.

"Why would I tell you? " She said, unbuckling her seat belt. He turns to her "So that if some day I feel like getting insulted, I could come straight to you. "

"Hah, sure sir. And how would you pay me of that... through card or Cash? "

"However you like," He smiled teasingly "I earn good, you know." He shrugged.

"Not enough to afford my services, " she got out of the Car, "And, I've just gone through my worst nightmare. Going to need a long break."

"So, Getting hit by a car was your worst nightmare?" He raised an eyebrow at her.

"No. Meeting with you was my nightmare worst nightmare. " She said while shutting the car door on his face. And, Then She was gone.

"Piyaaa... " Alina call her from the kitchen. Her voice broke piya's chain of thought about last night.

"Coming, " Piya replied, giving last look to mirror. Then She Went to brush her teeth before breakfast.

Piya took a relieve breath when she reached to the Parking Area of Shopping mall. Her family had dragged Her to the Shopping mall.
Had they come all the way to Los Angeles just to do Shopping? She wondered Seeing Her mother and Alina' s lighten up faces. Every time it happen. Whenever they came to Los Angeles their Shopping Spree goes out of control. Piya never liked Shopping that much. Somehow managed to spend an hour with them, then just wanted to leave.

It was hard to convince her parent to let her go alone. She told them that she wanted to rest and being in crowdy mall was hurting her head. Seeing her head injury they had to agree. Her dad offered her to drive her home back if she wasn't feeling well but Piya convinced him that She could drive.

Piya walked toward the Car, thinking that now She would go back to home and would watch Some movie. She had bought a extra cheesy pizza for herself, which she was going to eat while watching movie. And If she was lucky enough there would be some leftover of her favourite Berry Cake in fridge which her mom had bake for her birthday. Alone at home with Berry cake, pizza and movie. This birthday plan Sound so good to her. She just couldn't wait to get home.

"Oh Crap !" Swear left AR' Mouth Seeing Some Paparazzi near his Car. They seemed to be searching for him. He immediately hide himself behind a pillar. He was astonished. How did they find out which car had belong to him In this Parking lot, which was fill with so many cars, that too when he even hadn't brought his own car today. He changed cars frequently, it helped him in getting away from media people and paparazzi easily. But today, paparazzi somehow got lucky.He wouldn't make it to his car without being Caught by Them, and they would eat him alive with Their Camera flashes and Over stupid questions if they caught him. He preferred to avoid it. "Damn, What to do now? " He sulked, looking for an escape way from where he could go without being Seen. He was wearing goggles and a new boy cap which were giving enough coverage to his face that he wouldn't be recognised instantly. Hiding behind the pillar, He looked around and his eyes fell on a Girl. Dressed in a Pastel Green Coloured Oversize Sweater top with Denim shorts, abhay saw Her walking at the opposite lane from his Car and recognised her with just one look. She was the Girl from last night.

He looked Closely. Yes, She was the Same Girl. Nerdy glasses and Still had a bandage on her forhead, though not the Same one from last night. It was a Simple bandage not the woven type like last night. Her Curly hairs were tied in a messy bun. She had two boxes in her hands. One was Pizza' and other one Seem to be Some kind of Small Gift box. He Saw her dtopping near A car, And he knew what he had to do now.

As Soon Piya reached to the Car, Her phone started Ringing. She put Pizza Box on the back seat along with the Box alina had gifted her for birthday. Piya didn't understand why in the world alina couldn't gifted her Something better than a full range of Concealers. In Alina' words, Piya was going to need them If her wound leave a mark on her forehead. How thoughtful it was ! Piya shook her head in disbelief , and answer her phone. "Yes, mom."

"Are you sure you'd drive by your own ? " Says her mother from other side. A mother never stop worrying.

"If I get any doubt about it, I will call you after reaching home."

"Okay, Do Call me."

They never stop worrying and never get sarcasm. Piya sighed "Bye mom. See you at home, " She said while disconnecting the call.

She was unlocking the car When sudenly Someone Bump into Her, knocking her out of Feet. She fell on the Concrete floor, on her elbow "What the F... " words got lost on her mouth as she found who was in front of her.

"Shh.. don't shout," AR sushed her, sitting on his knees across her.

"Damn you again ! " She cursed at him, But actually was cursing at her luck.

"And hello to you too, Four eyed girl." He smiled teasingly, getting on her nerve even more.

She grimace, rubbing her elbow. Feeling pain She lifted her sleeve up to see, and thanks to him She had got an another injury.

"Let me see, " He tried to see her bruised elbow, but She jerk his hand away. "I'm Sorry. I didn't mean to, " He said Sheepishly.

"Does you always prefer this kind of 'Accidental ' meeting or I'm the Only Lucky one? "

"Actually, You are the unlucky one. I do like giving Bruises to girls But, In different way." He winked at Her "unlike you, They Enjoy it."

"If I Ignore you, will you be disappear? " She scoffed.

"You can try," His smile widen Seeing her displeasure.

"Or Better, I can just Say good bye to you. " She said, getting up on her feet but He pull her back.

"What The Hell ! " She yelled at him.

"Shh... " He put his hand on her mouth, Shielding both of them behind the car. "See there, " He signal towards the opposite lane of cars. She saw three Men there and all of them holding Cameras in their hands. Her yelling had clearly grab their attention, because one of them was coming toward them.

"We need to Get out of here, " AR said. His hand was still on her mouth and She bit on it, forcing him to leave her. "Ohh.." He moan with pain, jerking his hand.

"Don't touch me again." She warned him. " And It's you who need to Go. They are after you not me. " She had hardly said that when sudenly he Pined her against the car.

Piya's eyes widen with shock "what are you doing? "

"You have to Help me getting out of here. " He requested, looking over her shoulder at the Paparazzi. He was coming closer.

"Forget it."

"Fine.Then I'm kidnapping you, " He said in Urgency, grabbing Car keys from the door lock. "Stop..." She tried to Say, but holding her from the shoulder he hastily made her sit on the passenger seat and he himself took the driver seat. He started the Car and rushed towards the exit.

"Wear this, " He Said giving her his New boy Cap and Goggles.

"Why? "

"To protect your Anonymous Identity. " He said signaling at the side view mirror of car. She watch into mirror and saw two cars were speeding up behind them. She almost jump on the seat "Holy Shit ! They are following Us ! "

"Yes They are. "
