"You are kidding, right? " Piya watched her elder sister alina with stunned face.
"No, I'm not" Alina replied sheepishly. She emptied her whole luggage bag on the bed and grabbed two fancy top out of it, One red and other one was white.She placed both of them on herself and asked piya for suggestion "this one or this One?" .
"What the hell are you doing?"
"I told you. We are going Out, " Alina looked into mirror. "I think red one will do the work." She mused, selecting Red one for herself, and threw the white one towards piya "Go and change. We don't have much time."
"I'm not going anywhere with you." Piya said clearly.
"You have to, little sis. You know I don't have driving licence. You wouldn't want to see your beloved sister behind bars on your birthday." She patted on her shoulder, Piya shook it off.
"Now I understood why you were dying to come here," Piya appeared not so happy, putting her hands on hip, She began saying "Your Excitement wasn't because of my birthday. You didn't drag us here in Los Angeles from denville because You were missing Uncle Sam and Aunt Jena. It was all just because of that AR, isn't it?"
"It wasn't a lie. I'm Excited for your birthday, and I was really missing Uncle and Aunt, " Alina said with fake offended voice. She continue "I just thought It would be good to visit them For this Holidays. " She ran into bathroom to change.
"Really? " Piya obviously wasn't convinced.
"Yes, we've came LA to celebrate your eighteen birthday and we will celebrate it tomorrow .Getting a chance to watch AR performing live is just a bonus. " She squeak in excitement.
"We just landed here. Aren't you tired after such a long journey?" She yawned, throwing top back on the bed and Sat on nearer chair.
"It's AR, piya" Alina said as matter of faculty , coming out of bathroom after changing her clothes. Piya knew this was the battle she couldn't Win. She had to go with alina whether she wated or not. Her sister was a diehard fan of that Pop Star, AR. She was kind of crazy for him. alina spend more time of her in thinking about him then doing anything else. She had so many posters of his on her room wall, and Unfortunately, Piya shared same room with her.
"Why didn't you change yet? " She glared at piya who was sitting on the chair In her same lime yellow baggy top and denim pants. Her curly hairs tied in a bun.
"I'm comfortable in my own clothes. Thank you very much," Piya answer back, crossing her arms over her waist.
"Fine, "Alina sighed. She came near her and brought her hand in her curly hairs, and before piya could protest, She untied her hairs "At least, leave your hair loose and get rid of these glasses. "
"You know I can hardly manage without glasses,"
"How many times I've told you to try contact lenses,"
"How many times I've told you I dislike contact lenses as much as I dislike your AR. " She quipped.
"Not a single Word Against AR, " Alina turned defensive. "You want to go like this, Fine. You'll Going to stay in the Car."
"As if I care, " She said uninterestedly. Alina put some make up on her face and set her hairs. She checked herself twice in the mirror. Leaving her hair loose she posed at piya expecting to hear compliment from her, but piya just give her a bore face. Sighing, Alina grab piya' hand and drag her Out with herself.

It was around 11 at night and piya was waiting for more than 2 hours for her Sister to Come out 0f that fancy restaurant where Pop Star AR was Supposedly going to perform. She had park her car few blocks away from the restaurant. She couldn't park in restaurant Parking area because it was already over flooded with AR' fans and paparazzi. Alina felt little dishearten that the news of AR coming here got broken.She said it was his secret visit. He was going to come here to See one of his friend. When piya asked her how she knew if it was supposed to be a secret visit, She told her that she knew someone, who knew someone who knew someone who actually knew someone who was a close friend of The restaurant Owner.Piya' jaw dropped hearing that. She didn't understand why Alina thought it was a decret at all. No wonder news got leaked, if it had gone through so many someones.
Piya was getting tired of it. Just sitting in car, doing absolutely nothing. She tried to call her sister, but she didn't answer. Through alina' knowing someone connection she somehow had gotten an Invitation card. It Was actually birthday invitation card, and to pretend she was the same person who got invited alina had brought a gift with herself. It was only why she could able to enter in the restaurant, otherwise she would had been here Outside like so many other fans.
Piya phoned her Last time before getting out of the car. She had to get her back. She couldn't wait here anymore, She wanted to go home. But, the question was how could she possibly got her outside? Security guards wouldn't let her go inside at any cost without having Invitation pass. She thought about it getting highly annoyed. She came towards the backside of the restaurant, Searching for any Way to get inside without being caught by guards, but there were a Security guards Standing at the back door too. She smiled fake forcefully as he Found her sneaking around. She didn't need to be told that she shouldn't be here. She turned and Stepped back toward her Car.
Abhay Raichand aka AR had not expect that this simple friendly gesture of him would turn out to be such a crowded event. Nick, The owner of the restaurant was his friend. Thus, he couldn't say him 'No' when he asked him for a friendly favour. Nick' daughter was AR' big fan and he wanted to surprise his daughter by having AR at her 8th birthday party. The plan was simple, AR would come, Wish his daughter and sing a song for her. It was an unofficial and supposed to be a Secret visit. Abhay had no problem with it. In fact, he was looking for having a Good time, but things didn't go as they were planned. News got leak, and his fans Came here rushing just to get a glimpse of him. Thank God nick was thinking about this possibility and had hired security guards for the restaurant..who did handle unwanted crowd and kept them out.
Abhay had to enter from backside door. There were few invited guests. He Came, met Nick' little princess and the way her eyes twinkle with happiness seeing him in front of her was priceless. He knew he was a Charmer and girls loved him, no matter what they were age of . Infact, the young Ones just Couldn't resist him. They desired him and droll over him, Just like the way ever single girl who were presented in the restaurant drolling over him. He shrugged with proud.
He sang two Songs for nick' daughter as her birthday present. She was elated. He managed to stay only for a while, signed few autographs, then he had to leave. He wore his goggles and zip up his hoody, hiding his face as much as possible. He wore a 'playboy' cap and then his jacket hood over it. Putting his hands in pocket and keeping his face down he stepped outside from same back door from which he had entered in. He had park his car in an alley, few block away from Restaurant. He just wished to reach there without being seen.
Piya had gotten fully frustrated with her Sister. There was no sign of her, She wasn't answering her Call and her Messages went unseen. She endup kicking car' front door in her frustration. Even the early breezes of winter couldn't cool her off. Seeing no other way, She again made her way towards the restaurant. She needed to got her out, Somehow. Maybe Security guard could help her to pass a message to alina. She thought and braced herself to convince the guard.
While passing infornt of an dark ally, Her shoelace got untied. She cursed under her breath and lean to fastening it. When she was tying shoelace, Sudenly light hit face, coming through ally. She straighten turning towards the light. The eyes blinding light didn't let her see anything, she was dazed by bright headlights.Naturally, her hand come up to her eyes. Partially Covering her eyes with hand she could make out a car inside the ally.
After that everything happened so fast, She just heard engine starting sound and Before she could even move away from the way, She got hit by the car, and fell. Her head hit the pavement and then everything blackened.
Abhay was so glad that he reached to his Car without being caught by any fan or paparazzi. It felt like an achievement. After getting into car, he patted himself on the shoulder and promised to treat himself with a new video game for the good work. He fasten the seat belt and was ready to go, at that same time he received a Message from his mother. While checking message he hurriedly started the Car engine. Putting phone on passenger seat He pushed into the clutch and put the car into gear. It's only when car started moving forward He saw that a girl was standing at the end of allyway. He hurriedly put the break but it was too late. Car had stopped but not before hitting the girl.
"NO. NO. NO. " AR panicked. He hopped out of the car. The girl was lying unconscious on the pavement, there was a wound on her forehead, blood was oozing out from there. His hands went cold. He hoped he hadn't kill her. Sitting near her he checked her pulse. He felt her running pulse under his touch, She was alive. He let out a relieve breath. Abhay tried to woke her up but she didn't respond, that had him worried. He couldn't leave her like that there alone, He needed to get her to a doctor. Looking around, making sure that no one had seen him doing this crime, He brought her up in his Arms and made her lie on the back seat of his Car. She had all wild curly hairs, that kind of trouble him when he got her inside the car.
As he came to sit on driver seat, his eyes fell on Something glinting in the streetlight, at the same Spot where the girl had fallen. He went to see and found a pair of eyeglasses there. He grab them thinking they could be hers. Then he came back to car and drove off.

On the way to the doctor, Abhay saw her moving. "Where am I ?" She asked in her semiconsciousness voice. "You are with me," He replied, glancing her though Rear-view mirror, glad that She had gain Conscious.
"Who are you?" She asked, sounded more like drunk.
'Ouch' that hurt. He was AR, the Very Famous Pop Star. He hadn't heard those three words Since a long time. Although, he kept hearing different kinds of three words many times from girls like 'I Like you' , 'I love you' or even 'I want you' . Everyone had known him and girls from all over the world loved him. Then how couldn't she recognised him? It felt like a blow to his Pride. He checked her Through Rear-view mirror , She didn't look fully conscious. Her eyes Still weren't fully open. Hah, that was why she didn't recognised him otherwise she had. He blamed her Condition.
"Have I gotten kidnap?. " She blubber , "You have kidnaped the wrong girl.My family has no money for ransom.We are very poor. Very poor. " She started crying like a child, blubbering "I'm going to die. We are very poor. . ". Abhay tried to pacify her that she was safe with him but she didn't hear him. And then she started squirming.
"Are you in pain? " Abhay asked worriedly, "Don't worry, I'm taking you to the doctor". She didn't reply anything, but Squirming. She made a face like she was going to vomit and abhay noticed that. "Not in my Car. Not in my Car, " He shout out, fully knowing she was going to vomit in any minute. "Out of the window. Not in my brand new Car." He repeated again with panic, trying to focus on the road. In her Semi Conscious state She brought her head out of Car window and vomited. After that, she again fell unconscious.
Abhay watched her with wild eyes, "What I have gotten myself into?" were the only words he could come up with, at that moment .

Piya opened her eyes slowly and found herself in an unfamiliar surrounding. The room wasn't hers and neither the bed she was lying on .That was more horrifying for her than seeing a gost. She hastily got up...her head pained , and for a second everything swirled around her. "Ahh," She winced with pain. Holding head She sat back on the bed. She found there was a bandage of her forehead and she literally freaked out seeing dried blood spots on her lime yellow top. Was it her own blood ? how did She got it? . What had happened? . She tried to remember how she ended up here.The last thing she remembered was seeing car headlights and then gotten hit by it.
"She's up, " A male voice announced, breaking piya's thoughts. "Coming," Another voice came, perhaps from some other room. She raised her eyes towards the voice. There was someone standing at the doorway, wearing torn denims and a black sweatshirt with hoodie. She blink two three times, as her head was hurting and she wasn't wearing her eyeglasses he looked bit blurry to her. Another male figure came into room who looked much older than the guy who was standing at the doorway.
"Hello, Miss. I'm Dr. Luke Wilson, " He introduced himself, coming in front of her. He seem to be in his mid- forties. "How's you feeling?"
"Fine, I guess." She replied, watching over his shoulder towards the other guy. He seemed quite familiar.
"Aren't your head hurting?" He asked.
"Yes," She replied. She sat still as he examined her bandage. Then he brought Something out from the bedside drawer and handled her Some medicine with a glass of water "Take this" . She watched the medicine with questionable eyes. "Don't worry its just a painkiller. You'll feel better," He told. She didn't seem to trust him, but if he wanted to do anything bad to her hadn't he already done that. She thought about it and swallowed the medicine.
"Do you remember your name?" Doctor enquired.
"Yes," She told.
"Will you tell me?"
"No,"
"Why so? " He asked, puzzled.
"You are a stranger," She stated obvious.
"I'm a Doctor, "
"Still, a stranger to me, " She rolled her eyes. The guy at the doorway laughed on this. Doctor Wilson turned and gave him a look that made him quite.
"Will you tell me anything about yourself at all?" He said, addressing piya.
"No." Her reply was pretty sharp.
"Ok fine, " He sighed with exhaustion. "Then tell me what's my name?"
"Dr. Luke Wilson," She said.
"which city you are in rightnow? "
"Los Angeles, South California,"
"Do you remember what happened?"
"Yes, I'm a victim of 'hit & run' "
"Do you remember who brought you here? "
"No."
"Again,What's my name? "
"Dr. Luke Wilson, " She answered.
"Are you feeling like vomiting again?"
"No"
"having any trouble in seeing things?"
"Yes, but I think it's only because I've lost my eyeglasses, " She said, adding "and before you ask me again Your name is Dr. Luke Wilson."
"Good, You Seem to be doing fine. You had a concussion. I won't say it was a minor one but symptoms are pretty much over. Your forehead wound isn't anything serious. I have taken care of it , it might leave a Scar though."
"Great ! " Piya Let out a Exasperated Sigh. Dr. Wilson turned back to the other guy who was still standing near the doorway, piya had almost forgotten him, "You have her Eyeglasses? " He asked him.
"Yep, " He replied, taking few steps towards them. As he came closer and light fell on his face piya recognised him. He was AR, the super popular Pop star. The one of the singing sensations of recent time. And, She wasn't thrilled about it.
That wasn't the reaction AR had expected to get. He gave her eyeglasses and she wore them, Ignoring him. She actually, really Ignored him. Another first Since a long time for him and another blow to his pride. This Girl was really Something. He watched her, except her forehead injury she looked fine, He could not blame her condition this time. "Are you sure she is fine, wilson?" He whispered to the doctor. Luke was abhay's family doctor Since ages, and he liked to address him from his last name.
"Yes, raichand." He whispered back, eying at his patient "Why do you think she isn't? ".
"Don't you think her reaction is quite little... little dull seeing me?" He murmured again, tried not to show his hurting pride. He smiled at the girl this time, and still got no reaction from her. she couldn't be alright. He thought.
"Really? " Dr. Made an exasperated face. "Perhaps, she isn't a fan, " He replied, adding "Or Perhaps, she really doesn't know who you are."
"Nice joke, Wilson." Abhay gave a short laugh, and finally, on that he got her reaction. She watched him as if he was a mad man. He stopped laughing.Clearing his throat, he tore off his eyes from hers and looked towards the wall painting out of embarrassment.
"I wanna go home," he heard her say.
"As I said you are doing fine, So you can go home. But if Any symptom of concussion occur again Like dizziness, nausea, headache or anything like this, you'd better Consult a doctor ." Doctor said and She just nodded in agreement.
"And One last question, Do you know who this gentleman is? " He asked her, putting his hand on abhay's shoulder.
"Yes, I know." She told, honestly. That brought Abhay's smile back on his face as he taunted Dr. luke saying "See, everyone knows me". Luke roll his eyes "Just take her back, and let me go to take my well deserve sleep, " He said to abhay and left the room.
Piya got up on her feet. She wasn't feeling dizziness and pain anymore. Painkiller had done it's work. She step toward the door, and AR followed her.
"So what's yours name?" he asked her, as they came out of room.
"If I wanted to tell I would have told it to Dr. Wilson."
"C'mon, There is a difference between telling him and telling me. "
"And what it is? " piya asked with bored tone as they pass through the hallway.
"I'm young, hot, and smart " he shrugged with proud.
"Yet not feeling like telling you my name. " she yawned, and his jaw dropped. "Then what would I call you?" he asked, amazed.
"You don't need to call me anything. You don't even need to talk to me. "
He shook his head "Just tell me your name."
"Nope,"
"Fine, I'll call you 'four-eyed girl' , " He said playfully, nudging on her shoulder. "Stop it," she warned him.
"Then tell me your name," He said coming Closer to her. He was almost touching her from behind. She stopped there and turn to him "You know there is a thing called 'personal space' "
"Don't know.Never heard about it, " He quipped.
"Of course ! " She smiled derisively.
"Name ? " He asked again, moving his eyebrows.
"Forget it."
"Aah, " He smirked "I'm gonna call you this only then ". She opened her mouth to say something, but didn't say anything as her eyes fell on Dr. Wilson who was standing near the front door, showing clearly that he just wanted them to leave. She moved toward the door, away from him.
Abhay continue coming behind her "So four-eyed girl, you would be glad to know that you aren't pregnant ". That made her stop on her way. "What? " She left confusingly shocked . Dr. wilson instantly came to them. "I had told you her vomiting were one of the sign of concussion,not pregnancy" He said to abhay, with clear annoyance in his voice.
"That's what I'm saying to her, she isn't pregnant. " Abhay repeated. Piya watched both of them with bewildered face.
"God, just let it go." Dr. Wilson shook his head.
"I'm Just telling her, doc."
"You don't need to tell me. I know I'm not pregnant." Piya spoke up with surety.
"Wow, how could you be So sure? " Abhay asked acting bewilder. She cross her arms over the waist "it's not your matter of concern, Mr. Pop star." Abhay observe her face for a minute quite Intently. Piya felt like punching him on the face.
Sudenly , he broke into laugh saying "you are a virgin, aren't you?". Behind her nerdy glasses her baby brown eyes widen with shock, she couldn't bring herself to say anything. She felt highly embarrassed.
"That's Enough, Raichand. " Dr. wilson tried to stop him, fully knowing how direct abhay could get about 'Certain' things. He had known him Since his fussy toddler days.
Abhay Ignored Dr. wilson as if he didn't even heard him. His eyes were on piya, as he continue "This innocent face says it all, " He Smirked and repeated " you are a virgin, aren't you?"
In reply, her hand smacked hard across his face. The slap was as loud as a clap and stung his face. Everything went silent.
He left Shocked, couldn't even believe that she had actually really Slapped him, but She had.That was something He hadn't expected to happen with him ever in his life time. He just left watching her with open eyes as She stormed out of the house. He touched his Cheek , it felt heated by the Slap. "Did I said something wrong? " He asked to Dr. wilson absent-mindedly , Still looking at her now vacant place.
"I haven't heard you saying anything right since a Long time, " Dr. wilson heaved a sigh.
