Chapter 6
(Abhay's POV)

Empty. Her grave was empty. She had already dug out from it. I slammed my hand into the tree. Now where will I find her?

Something growled behind me. It was a werewolf. It was ready to pounce on me when I wasn't looking. I bared my fangs at it. It was on vampire territory. It took a step back and attacked. The force threw me to the ground. The wolf tried its best to harm me but I didn't let it. I grabbed it but its neck and bit down hard. Its blood quickly energized me. I stood up and dragged it into the open pit, where Piya dug out of. I buried it there.

I needed to find Piya fast. She doesn't know the territory boundaries. If she crosses over into the werewolf territory, they could kill her...

I needed to find here fast...

"Piya!" I called out to her.

(Piya's POV)

"Piya!"

I got up with a jolt. That was Abhay's voice. For sure it was his. I knew his voice...

I picked up my bag, brushed the hay off myself, and hurried outside. He was here. I couldn't be mistaken. I had to see for myself.

(Abhay's POV)

I picked up a scent near the grave. It could be Piya's. With no time to waste..I followed the scent. Eventually I would find my Piya...

Her scent trail eventually led me to a old, rundown warehouse. I went inside.

"Piya!" No answer.

Another scent filled the air. The faint scent of blood. I followed it to a secluded room. There were shattered glass pieces everywhere and two dead men, lying in pools of blood. Their throats were torn out, and they weren't bleeding anymore. Only one conclusion made sense, Piya was here...and she drained them dry. But she was nowhere in sight.

My worries grew. I had to find her soon. It was a race again time. She was facing two threats...the werewolves and the coming morning. She would burn to death once the sun came out. She didn't have a daylight ring.

(Piya's POV)

"Abhay!" I called for him. He was here...I felt him.

Feeling slightly weak...I drank the remaining blood I has got from the hospital. The hunger still produced the burn in my throat. I pressed on. I wouldn't back down until I find him...

(Abhay's POV)

I exited the warehouse. Dawn was on the horizon. I had only two or three hours left to find her.

"Piya...where did you go?"
