Coming to Abhay, my heart really broke at his plight. I felt the same ache which I felt (still feel when I see the episode) on seeing the 23rd May episode. How did he feel right now - betrayed (perhaps not exactly betrayal but something close)
If yes then by whom.
He had wiped out her memories so that she could forget him and lead a normal life.
Even on coming back he did not want to give her back her memories. She was now united with her family and has every chance of leading a normal life.
Though she lost her memories, on seeing him, she demanded answers on their relationship and he successfully evaded. Then she suddenly disappeared only to return back as a changed person.
He could feel the change in her, but never imagined that she got her memories back and knew everything about him, about them.
And all these days, she had been with him carrying on his own lies.
So she got back her memories and what did she really think of him, what are her feelings for him.
She did slip up on a couple of occasions but again she used to distance herself from him.
His dead heart really ached at her indifference. He might have felt better if she confronted him immediately on return of her memories. But she didn't .
She also seemed to know that Siddharth is a vampire and how he had attempted to kill her for his own selfish needs. Still she seemed to trust him and work in his office. Even he was aware that she got her memories back. She trusted Siddharth but kept this fact from Abhay.
Then coming to his own parents. Haseena and Chand also knew that she got her memories and even they kept him in the dark what if they had their own reasons for not telling him.
Siddharth, Haseena, Chand, Alina, every one knew that she got her memories back except him. And everyone kept him in the dark.
I really felt bad for Abhay. But then, did he not conceal things, for his own reasons. I wish he could understand the turmoil Piya is also going through. She could have even ended her life as a way out of this mysterious misery (I liked it very much when she tells Alina that she could have used these tablets to end everything for ever). I wish Abhay would get to know her this state of mind. Of what he did to her.
Haseena and Chand's conversation with Abhay was also mind blowing. The considerate mother and the practical father. (Oh my ! Shreya, I really loved the way you wrote Chand's dialogue "I think you should not blame her for it. We all have our own..." He glanced at Haseena, "..secrets." How well you understood PKYEK characters and also portray them in a more refined way. My salutations to you)
Then Piya's self talk again was mind blowing. I really dont have words to express this (You are spared this time from my comment 😉)
Coming to Misha and Piya's conversation. Yes this was really needed. All the time, Misha was telling bad about Abhay and then suddenly she tells that she is in a relationship with him. That was bad. And Misha really felt that she had to apologize to Piya for that. (Something neither Panchi nor Misha felt necessary in the show). But I failed to understand why Misha thought that Abhay could have been the reason for whatever happened to Piya that night. Every one knew that Siddharth was a vampire and he took her to Maithli another vampire who wanted to kill Piya. Even when Abhay tries to call Misha, Maithili who pretended to be Piya cuts the call asking her not to involve Abhay as he is a normal human. Even when Piya insists on going back , she never mentions about Abhay. Then how did Misha think that Abhay was there that night and was somehow responsible for Piya's state. Ofcourse he disappeared all of a sudden and and there was no denying the fact that Piya cared for him and if she asked for him, he was no where to be found. But there was nothing that they could relate Abhay with what happened that night.
Whatever Misha, realized that Piya got back her memories and was excited to share this with her parents and others. Something which was never given importance in the show. But knowing Misha's character, this is how it would have been. That is why I repeatedly say that you not only refined the characters but also patched up the missing links in the show.
Now why did we have Nicholas all of a sudden. Is this just a filler or does he have an important role to play, (in the supernatural world)?
And then enter again the psychologist Alina. She perfectly knows the spot she has to touch to bring Piya into action.
Siddharth - Piyali conversation is another mindblowing one. Sid may have lured many people into his confidence. But Piyali was one person where he opened up his true self. He considered her a friend. He is grateful that she had come back for him, giving him an opportunity to explain?
He opened up his heart on how bad he felt at the things that had gone and how wrong he was about Maithili. He had done everything for her, not even giving a second thought if he was doing right. He betrayed his own brother while he was human. After he turned into a vampire, he was against Chand and Haseena and his jealousy for Abhay was always there. He opened up all his guilt and sincerely confessed whatever he felt in his heart. But then why was there a gleam in his eye which confused and scared Piya. Alina wanted Piyali to make Siddharth feel guilty about what he did and he did feel guilty. So their mission for now is achieved. But why did Piya sense something fishy? Why was she afraid for Sid, that he would be harmed by Maithili some day?
And when she thinks to her self that Sid plotted to kill her, it was Piya last year, right and not Piyali. What does Alina and Reina want from Siddharth and does he have some other plan?
Its not surprising that Abhay left home. He would never have felt this lonely in all his existence as a vampire that he decided to leave his parents and home. But it is surprising that Haseena acually called Piya and told her. I mean in all these years, Abhay would have had difference of opinion and would have left them then why did Haseena want to involve Piya. I think even she sensed the heart break of Abhay and felt that only Piya could convince him.
I always wanted Abhay to go to her and explain to her, his actions. But looks like she has to find him and he would take it out on her that she never told him about the return of her memory. Atleast for a short while, I wanted Piya to back off and Abhay to bring her back. But looks like it has to be the other way round and Piya has to make him accept his love. Otherwise it may not fit.
With Dipannita dead, Jeh gone and Siddharth changed, would Abhay feel that Piya is no longer in danger and therefore it is the best for her to be away from him?
And final question have you disclosed Reina's identity that she is none other than Alina or is the suspense still on?
If Abhay realised Alina was Reina then why did not he not confront her on what she did or intends to do with Piya?
He merely acknowledges her presence when he sees her as Reina and assures her that he will keep her identity safe.
Will we get to see Abhiya scenes in the next update? Any teasers?
Thanks Shreya for a fabulous, mind blowing update.
My favourite line in this update - you sentenced Abhay to a lifetime of loneliness"
This one sentence speaks everything about PKYEK.. How a person sentenced to a lifetime of loneliness breaks it to be united with his true love.
Extremely sorry about the long comments. Couldnot help it 😳
