amazing update

lvd the abhiya convo on phone...it was sweet and cute but did pia's dream have any indication towards future problems and i am bit surprised by haseena's reaction...she didn't even listened to her.

hope it will remain a dream only.

shivi sorry sorry and sorry 4 late response a bit busy... u updated f chapters and a lot happens in these and i miss to read, i was having xams... any way i am enjoying story... and abhay and pia relation and like jeh also but neel is weird to me... a lovely story...

Chapter 4: A bright sunny day... But ohh so DULL!

Part 1

"OMG! College ke dusre din you can't afford to be late Mrs. Raichand!" yelled Piya at herself tucking her black shirt in her jeans. She grabbed the silver bracelet and her one shoulder denim style bag. Her boots were actually limelight of her dress. She kissed Haseena good bye and directly took the keys of her car. She wasn't gonna act cheeky rich brat at College. Who could be soo bratty so as to have a driver to College. Choosing to drive herself made her calm and at peace. She was a modern 21st Century woman strong enough to take care of herself. She detested those woman who pretended to be despos and attracted people to pity them. She always supported the cause of woman empowerment and thus was very strong in her feelings... Especially after all that crap which happened in Dehradun last year. The Raichands had a big role in re-shaping Piya into a strong and a powerful businesswoman sort of a person. While driving she switched on the FM... It was very soothing to listen to music while driving. Soon she reached College and parked next to the Khurana's SUV. She jingled her keys into her pockets as she proceeded towards her "Design" class.

"Mrs. Raichand!!!!!"

Piya looked behind and saw Jay Khurana running towards her. She slowed down waited for him to make-up. "Hey Jai! How are you this morning?"

"Yeah! Great!"

She gave him a side-hug and they started walking together. As soon as they reached class, Jai and Piya took the same bench and that was the back-benches. "Yeah! So Piya, do you know I am the president of the back-benchers association?"
"Back-benchers... What?"
"Yeah, we normally sit at the back so we have made us a sort of group.. Which includes me, Adriano, Paul, Neil Bhai, Maya and Alina."
"I know of Adriano, Paul and Neil... But Maya and Alina?"
"Alina's my and Neil's bhai's sister and Maya is..."

Before he could speak anything, two sexy girls entered the class... One of them was tall and the other was of average height. Jai pointed on the tall girl as Alina and the shorter one was a bit duskier and wheatish in color.. She was Maya Singhania... Daughter of the Singhanias who were close friends of Khuranas but Raichands' business rivals.

"Maya... Alina... Meet Piya! Piya meet Alina my sister and Maya... My friend"
"Hey guys! Nice to meet you"

Alina was soft spoken... She took Piya's offered hands and said softly, "Hey Piya! Bhai told so much about you yesterday! You're really very pretty!"

Piya gave Jai a "What the!" look making Jai feel embarrassed. Maya on the other hand had no intentions of befriending Piya. Living with Vampires for so long, she had learnt the art of judging people by their posture and speech. She made no efforts to extend friendship to Maya and quietly concentrated in her books. The class was conducted smoothly... Piya was very diligent in answering the questions thrown at her... Abhay didn't call her even once during the day. Piya was a little low by the end of the day and left home without saying much to her friends.

Back at home, she sat on the couch in her drawing room watching "The Sixth Sense". It was boring for her to sit alone like this and watch a movie. She had grown used to the arms that enrapped her while she was at home. It was like a DAMNED hole which was covering the Raichand Mansion in Abhay's absence. It had just been merely 2 days since she had seen Abhay and it was already untolerable for her. The child in the movie, Cole... Made her focus on the movie but still... Her mind diverted to missing Abhay sometime or the other. Finishing the movie, she groped for her bag, took out her notes and started going through them. It was an easy way to pass time and forget to remember Abhay temporarily... Her phone rang and she picked it up without looking at the caller ID. "Abhay! How are you?"

"Piya! Listen! This is Jay! Not Abhay :P"

Piya looked at the Caller ID and slammed her head in stupidity. "Yes! Jai! Sorry I didn't see the ID"
"Thats okay! Well! All of us are going to the pub... Wanna join?"

Pub? Means hanging out? Seems like a good way to pass time. "Lemme ask mom Jai!"

She yelled to Haseena, who permitted her instantly. Piya quickly got ready in her black dress which Abhay had gifted her... And her ring. She kissed Haseena goodbye and left for the pub.

At the pub, Jai and Piya danced along for 2-3 hours. They drank a few shots but not too many to loose control. Maya didn't pay even a single DAMN attention to Piya. Neither did Piya want to have her unwanted looks. She was happy around people who actually cared for her. Piya was a little relaxed. She had forgotten Abhay... For the moment! None of them realised when the clock struck one... and that it was time to go. Jai offered Piya to drop her home but she knew Amrita would be coming to pick her up. When Amrita reached the pub, there was something strange that Piya noticed. Amrita stepped back a bit as soon as she saw Jai. Piya, who was standing next to Jai, felt a great deal of heat radiating out of his body. Amrita's eyes changed color again.. The venom got concentrated in her eye-balls making then fiery red. Piya ran towards Amrita trying to guess the matter. "Piya! Get in the car please"
"Yes di!"

She quickly got inside the car and Amrita followed. She drove away. Whilst in the car, Piya was feeling uneasy. She knew that Amrita knew what she wanted to ask. "Khuranas are not a good company to keep Piya"
"Yeah! I can guess that!"
"They've been our rivals since time immemorial!"
"But di! Jai's a sweet guy!"
"Whatever, sweet or not sweet! You're not hanging around him!"
"But he's in College with me!"
"Outside College you should NOT know him"
"Yeah sure..."

At home, Amrita quietly went to her room and Piya to her. It was something Piya didn't understand... Something really crap was hidden beneath this rivalry.
