Chapter 6: Helpful Misunderstanding!

"Guyz I kept this party for two reasons the first one you all know is my birthday and secondly this is a breakup party. I and Anuj have broken up yesterday so thought why not throw a breakup party but we couldn't include this in the invitation card so we're telling you personally So enjoy guyz and yes who all were interested in us while we were single and are still single get ready coz you'll maybe the lucky one." Alina said winking Abhay. She thought, "So lets see Abhay how true your feelings are and how much you're in water. I and Anuj have planned this for you and Piya. If you get through this test then I'll make sure that you both are together forever but if you're wrong then god save you from my wrath!" She eyed Anuj and gave a million dollar smile and thanked him for his support. He too smiled back.

"Great na??" said Anuj coming towards Piya. She showed her 'What are you talking about look?' he sighed and said, "I'm talking about the breakup dear! Btw I'm Anuj, Anuj Pradhan. Alina used to say a lot about you. Hey I'm new here. Do you mind showing me around? I mean I don't even know a place. At start Alina was there but now as you know we have broken up, I don't wanna disturb her. Please Piya!! Come on yaar." "Ok fine. Meet me at McD tomorrow at around 6 after college? Ok?" said Piya. "But dear lectures get over at 2 probably right? Then why so late?" asked Anuj. "Oh well, I and Abhay have planned to study after college as I've missed lectures when I was in London so he is teaching me." she replied. "Hey even I missed! Can I join in too?" asked Anuj thinking this was the best as Alina too could join in with them through Abhay. Abhay who was hearing all the conversation couldn't take it anymore as he was throughly annoyed due to a reason which he himself partially knew so said "No you can't. I can't teach two people at the same time. Sorry." "Ofcourse you can Anuj. Hop in a taxi and just say Jaiswal Mansion you'll reach my place. Abhay is just joking. He will definitely teach you, won't you Abhay?" asked Piya glaring him. "Yeah! I definitely will. Infact I'm very eager to teach you both!" snapped Abhay giving one of those forced smiles. "Ummm...guyz can I tag along?" asked Alina. "NO!! I mean we already are two. Abhay won't be able to teach three of us. Thats why. After I finish I'll teach you. Why to worry Abhay." "Its really ok Piya. Please Alina do come. I'll be waiting. Reach at Jaiswal Mansion by 2 or 2.30. Ok?" said Abhay with a smirk. "Great then! Meet you all at 2. Bye." said Alina and Anuj and left.

"Here starts your first test Abhay! Lets see how you fare in it..."said Alina and smiled towards Prasham.

Guy: Hey babes, Hi I'm Prasham, Alina's friend. Can I buy you a drink?

Piya: Oh thankyou so much. I'm Piya. (She started to flirt to make Abhay pay for including Alina for studying with them.)

Prasham: So what should I buy you young lady?

Piya: Ummm...an orange juice...

Prasham: Surely. (He got her a drink and mixed some vodka in it. He didn't say it though.) There you go lady!

Piya: Thanx! (She drank and slowly she losed her mind. She was drunk now and all of us know how drunk Piya behaves. We've seen it very well in the show.)

Prasham: Ummm...Wanna dance?

Piya: No thankyou! I've to leave. (Piya felt dizzy though kept her legs working towards the door.)

Prasham: Oh come on! Just one dance. (He pulled Piya towards him.)

Piya: I said No. Leave my hand right now. Or Abhay will come and beat you up! Didn't you see how he hated me calling Anuj? Anuj was new here I was just trying to help but then too he behaved mean. Anyways now leave me Mr. Long nosed Prasham. OMG did I just say you long nosed. Well you really have such a long nose, just like one of those goblins in those Harry Potter movies. (She said giggling and tried to free herself.)

Prasham: Don't be a spoil sport Pi! (He kept his hand on her waist and pulled her close and took her to a secluded corner of the room.)

Piya: Hey don't yo dare call me Pi! I hate everyone calling me Pi. Now leave me you oaf!

Abhay: Hey you moron! Didn't you hear what she said? Leave her right now or else you'll pay for it. And her name is Piyali. So better call her that. Piya is only for her friends unlike you.

Prasham: Ohhh I'm so scared. Listen Mr. Nobody. I've no interest in your stupid threats so backoff.

Abhay: Leave her waist. NOW!!

Prasham: No! I won't

Abhay gritted his teeth and pulled Piya by her hand. In just one go Piya was behind him like he was protecting somethind very special and dear for his life.

Prasham: Dude! What the hell! You'll pay for it. (He punched Abhay hard on his abdomen. He groaned in pain. Abhay pushed Piya back and gave him a hard punch on his ugly face. He fell on floor and blood oozed out of his nose.

Piya: Yeyyy! Comeon Abhay Comeon! Beat him. He forced me to dance. I don't want to dance with him. He is very mean just like you. But you saved me. Thankyou Abhay. Oops you save me like Superman. Awww...Abhay are you superman? You even have muscles and abs like him but he is a little big giant and not handsome than you. You're even more handsome than him.

Abhay: Piya you're drunk? (Asked Abhay in disbelief)

Piya: Oops No! I just had an orange juice, promise...woh bhi sachha wala promise...I didn't drink any hard drink...I just had an orange juice and that too this stupid goblin nosed man gave me.

Abhay: What have you mixed in her drink?

Prasham: Nothing!

Abhay slapped him hard and asked again. "What have you mixed in her juice?"

Prasham: Just a lil bit of Vodka. Thats it dude!

Piya: Owww...bad piya...one should not drink Vodka...it is very bad...mumma tells me to stay away from it...but Misha never listens...I listen to what mumma says but today I didn't. Bad Piya! Bad Piya!...she said and started crying.

Abhay: Piya...sshhh...(Oh god what do I do now...I can't take her home in this condition. Aunty will be very angry. I guess I'll take her inside from back door and then I'll see the rest.) Oh God...Piya...ssshhh...don't cry aunty will not be angry...come...we'll go home now...no more lectures to attend in college.

Piya: No I won't walk. You carry me, my bag, and my other belongings. Right now Raichand. You know you're as strong as superman. You beat that stupid goblin like Superman. So I'll call you Superman. Ok?

Abhay: Ok. (And You're a cute innocent princess. So I'll call you princess instead of Detective from today.)

Meanwhile Alina and Anuj in Hotel:

Alina: Thanx Prasham. Here apply this on your scars. It'll heal fast. I'll go behind them.

Anuj: Go fast. If Abhay is not a good guy then he may take advantage of this Piya.

Alina: Yeah..I'll leave. Bye. Take care.

Anuj: You too take care. Till then I'll handle the party.

Alina followed Abhay's car and reached Jaiswal Mansion. She sighed in relief and said, "First impression was already good by saving Piya from that Prasham. Now also you aren't taking advantage. You seem yo be good. But why can't I read your mind. You're human. I've felt it. But then whats wrong with you. I've to meet the Raichands now! Senior Raichands here I come." With that she went towards Raichand Mansion. She asked some people on the road about Raichand's address and finally reached there.

Raichand Mansion:

"We have a visitor Mom!" said Sid and went to open the door. Alina smiled at him and said, "Hey!" and extended her arm to shake hands.

"Hello Miss..." both shook hands and immediately Alina understood that they are vampires.

"Vampire!"

"Witch!"

"You are...??"

"Alina. I'm Abhay's friend. He by mistakely dropped his watch in the party so I came to give it."

"No need to lie. Come inside. Your face expressions are telling that the story is something else. Come"

"Fine. I was just curious as to why I couldn't read Abhay's mind. He is a human still I couldn't! So I came over to find out about him and his family." said Alina truthfully.

"Well may I ask why you wanted to probe his mind?" asked Sid getting irritated by her as she was poking her nose in personal matters which he hated.

"Who are you to ask me?" snapped Alina.

"Well apparently I'm his brother." Sid snapped back.

"Oh!"

"Oh! So?"

"Well I wanted to check his feelings for Piya are true or no...and is he faking or no...thats it...but just like Piya I couldn't read his mind even!"

"Jaiswal?"

"Yup!"

"Well he is just friends with her nothing else."

"Update your info bro...he fallen for her. But doesn't know himself. So is the case of Piya. Helping me in getting these two close??"

"Woah...'BRO'?"

"What? You expect me to call you BABY?"

"No thanx lil sis! I'm happy being called bro!" said Sid smiling.

"Whatever! Anyways here is my number. Just send me a message with your name in it. We'll discuss the plan later on as I'm in a hurry. Bye."

"But where are they now?" asked Sid.

"Jaiswal Mansion." with that she went leaving a smiling Sid behind.

"Well time to meet you little brother!" said Sid and went towards Jaiswal Mansion. He reached there and hid below Piya's window in trees.

Jaiswal Mansion:

"God Piya you're so innocent and cute. Such a pure soul. How could that Jeh hurt you so much. I really wonder whats wrong with his eyes that he couldn't see your pure soul." thought Abhay. "Anyways I'll take her in from back side."

After Abhay took Piya in her room. He made her sleep on her bed and went down.

Abhay: Hello Aunty! Aunty can you give me a glass of water please?

Sugandh: Yeah sure. Wait here I'll get it.

(Perfect time. Aunty can hear everything from here. I've to get the asprin even coz I'm sure since you've tried vodka for the irst time your head will definitely pain and spin. Anyways here starts my monologue Aunty!) thought Abhay.

Abhay: Piya you go in your room and change till then I'll get something for me to eat I'll take asprin also for me as my head is paining. And yeah I'll tell aunty that we don't want any visitors in your room for the next seven hours. Not even your family because I don't like disturbances while teaching so if you want anything than better say now.

Piya: '...

Abhay: Will you please speak up?

Piya: '...

Abhay: Are you still angry with me for that silly prank? Comeon you can't be serious. It was just a stupid prank yar! Don't be so mean.

Piya: '...

Abhay: Fine. I challenge that after 7hours of our study you'll definitely be talking to me. Now go and change.

Sugandh who was hearing everything from inside came out with Asprin, water and some samosas.

Sugandh: Here you go beta, have it and then take the tablet.

Abhay: How do you know aunty that my head is paining and I want an asprin. (said Abhay acting innocent.)

Sugandh: Oh well I heard it when you were talking to Piya. And listen don't give her much importance and she'll come running to talk with you. (said Sugandh and winked.)

Abhay: Oh is that so? Great! Thanks aunty. I'll take this in my room and yeah aunty NO VISITORS TILL 8.30pm. STRICTLY NO VISITORS!"

Sugandh: Yeah beta I know I heard it before. Go teach her. Bye and All the best for your new student.

Abhay: Thank you. Bye.

"Thank god aunty didn't suspect. Aunty is also so innocent. No doubt Piya is her daughter. Anyways Plan successful. Now I just have to wait in her room for her to get up." thought Abhay as he entered Piya's room. He came inside and sat on the other side of bed. He kept his hand on her forehead and caressed her hairs.

"God this can't be possible. Just yesterday I've broken up with Nuts and today I'm having such a strong feeling for Piya. What will she think of me? But I can't help it. Her innocence and simplicity is attracting me towards her. I don't understand what is happening to me...I think I'm falling in love with her. But I shouldn't be! She'll never love me. Once even I was like Jeh and she hates men who are like Jeh. But I've changed now so will she love me too? No, I don't deserve her. She deserves someone like her who has a pure heart. Who has never cheated someone in his life. Shut up Abhay! Shut up! Stop this feeling right now! In this one-sided love you will even lose your friendship. Can you afford that? No na? Then better shut up!" thought Abhay. Abhay while thinking slept on her bed. Unknowingly.

Sid who was the silent observer of all this was smiling happily. "Oh wow bro! You've chosen a perfect girl for yourself just like Panchi. Don't even think of seperating you two. Time to call you Panchi baby and lil sis." thought Sid.

Sid called Alina and Panchi and explained them everything. Panchi was very happy. After she got to know everything about Jeh from Misha she was happy that Abhay loved her lil sis. Alina, Panchi and Sid thought of a plan. They entered her room and made Abhay sleep near Piya and she cuddle with him. They wanted to see Piya's reaction after getting up. So they decided to do this. At almost 8 Piya got up. First thing she saw was she was in bed in her room and something hard or precisely someone was sleeping besides her. She got up scared and checked her clothes. She found them on her so sighed a breath of relief. But after that she thought who the hell was she sleeping with then and that too so close that her hands were on his waist, her head on his shoulders and her legs on his legs. And this stupid moron was also enjoying it. She checked him and saw that he was none other than her Abhay. She blushed at the situation they were in. She caressed his hairs and suddenly came out of her trance hearing some sound (Sid's voice). On the other hand Sid purposely made sound so that she comes out of her trance and thinks and then he can read her thoughts. But to his utter disappointment he couldn't read. He telepathically asked Alina as to why can't he read her thoughts and she replied, "I had told you in afternoon that I can't read her thoughts like Abhay. Remember? Thats why I said we'll notice her reactions, her expressions to understand what she is thinking. Didn't you pay attention to what I said? Well you're a very lazy vampire actually the most lazy vampy I've ever met. Anyways now see her reactions."

Piya blushed seeing Abhay near her and caressed his hairs. She went to window and thought. She was murmuring her thoughts but they were loud enough for Sid and Alina to hear but not for Abhay(He was sleeping), "Oh Abhay you're so sweet. I don't know what would have I done without you! Had it not been you I still would be mourning over my dead relationship with that bas***d Jeh. Thank you for coming into my life. You're the light in my life. I can't think of my life without you. I can't understand that why I feel so but I can't see you with any other girl even if it is Nuts or Alina or anyone. I feel so attracted to you. I felt like a connection to you even on the first time I met you. The way you hugged me and consoled me was very soothing. That was the first time I met you and felt for you. I felt as if I had a had a strong bond with you even though we had met for the first time. It was like De javu! I think I L...NO! I can't think this way. He is my friend. I can't think something like this about him. What will he think about me then? He deserves someone better than me not a rejected piece like me. If I had been good enough than Jeh must have never broken up itself. There definitely something wrong with me otherwise Jeh wouldn't breakup with me. He deserves someone better than me. Though Nuts broke his heart, but that does not mean I should go and settle in those broken pieces. There definitely will be some special girl who will not only reside that lovely heart of his but also mend it and join its broken pieces. I'm definitely not that girl. She'll be very special not someone ordinary like me! Stop thinking about it Piya. Don't make it difficult for yourself. He is a true friend. Don't lose his friendship because of this stupid feeling. It only gives pain. Do you want Abhay in pain? No na then better shut this feeling before it creates a havoc in your both life. God all this has already created a pain in my head. I..." While she was murmuring all this Abhay woke up. He saw Piya standing near the window and said, "Piya are you alright? By the way when did you wake up? Is your head fine. Here take this, It'll help in reducing your hangover. That Prasham spiked your drink with Vodka. Why did you have to flirt with him? Anyways don't say Aunty about this as she doesn't know anything. She thinks you and I had a fight so you were not talking to me while you and I came back home. I brought you home from back door. He explained and said according to her I had a headache in afternoon so I got this Asprin for my headache not yours...etc..etc.." "God Abhay breathe! Stop thinking about me! Go in the bathroom and get fresh till then I'll get a dress for myself. Then I'll go and get fresh." said Piya and pushed him in bathroom. They both got ready and headed down. Finally the day was over and Abhay headed for his home.

Ambassdor Restaurant:

"As we have heard everything of both the parties what are we supposed to do now? We've to do something. Both love each other but think they are not good enough for each other." said Sid.

"Yeah! I guess we three have to play cupid in their lives." said Panchi.

Jaiswal Mansion:

Everyday Abhay, Piya, Alina and Anuj used to study together. Piya and Anuj used to get along like house on fire. Anuj was very protective of Piya. He considered Piya as his little sister and same was the case for Piya. She considered Anuj as her brother. But Abhay was oblivious to these feelings and he was very jealous of him so to divert his mind he used to get along with Alina and they were inseperable once in a mishchievous mood. They were very good friends. But Piya was very much jealous of Alina. Both Abhay and Piya had accepted their feelings for each other. But they didn't knew that the other reciprocates the same. Both Abhay and Piya had decided that they will tell their feelings to other only if they are sure that the other feels the same otherwise their friendship will be spoiled and both couldn't keep their precious FRIENDSHIP at stake.

One specific day, Anuj and Piya were in her room. Alina had not come that day as she was not well. Anuj and Piya were talking. Piya said, "You know Anuj I always wanted a brother but never got one. I got a brother in you. I feel like my family is compelte." "Really Piya even I feel the same even I wanted a sister and I had one but she died in an accident. After that I always craved for a sister and I found that in you. I loved her so much." replied Anuj. "Don't worry! I'm here for you only na. But you loved her but you don't love me otherwise you would say me." pouted Piya. Abhay was just entering the room when he heard Anuj "Awww...my baby! I love you too much even though I didn't say." "I love you too!" said Piya giggling. Just then Abhay entered. He had tears in his eyes. Though he didn't confess his love for Piya but he never thought that she would love Anuj. He wiped his tears before Piya could see them but alas! Then he composed himself and said "You love him! Great! Congrats guyz! You'll make a good couple!" "But Abhay you are misunderstanding us! We are not a couple!" "Don't lie Piya. I just heard. Anyways I'll leave. You both enjoy your special day. I won't spoil it by studies. Bye." With that he went away without giving Piya even a chance to speak! She didn't knew what happened to him but was sure that he was upset and he has cried. But why? Because he thinks that she loves Anuj? No that can't be a reason. Maybe he is upset about something and wants to share but couldn't seeing us. But in either situations he is sad. I've to talk to him. She called him but he didn't pick up the call. She decided of meeting him personally but Sid said that Abhay went to Mumbai and won't be returning for a week.
