Know all about Piya's 'firsts'!

Everyone remembers their first accomplishments, as they always remain special in life. We quiz Sukirti Kandpal aka Piya of STAR One's Pyaar Kii Yeh Ek Kahani about the first things in her life.

First salary
My first salary was when I was a 11-year -old. I wrote exam papers for dyslexic kids, and got Rs. 800 for each paper I transcribed.

First car
I bought my first car when I was about 20 years old. The first car I bought was a Hyundai accent, and I still have it.

First house
I bought my first house when I was 21 years of age, in 2009. I bought it for Rs. 70 lakh. It made everything special, and I felt on top of the world.

First holiday
The first holiday I went on by myself was when I was a 17-year -old. I only had Rs. 1000 in my pocket at the time, but luckily, I had already paid for everything such as accommodation, tickets, etc. I travelled the whole of Rajasthan, and stayed in palaces. It was really nice.

First claim to fame
My first claim to fame was when I was 17. I had gone for India's Derby race. I was wearing a nice white dress and sitting in the audience while a photographer clicked me cheering. The photograph was soon published on the front page of Navbharat Times. My entire college was buzzing with the news, and I became really famous. Of course, later, it was the role of Dr. Riddhima Gupta in Dill Mill Gayye and, now, playing Piya in Pyaar Ki Ye Ek Kahaani.
