a month has passed and abhay always hesitated about asking piya out.. even though he knew his intentions are in their right place.. he just couldnt let himself ask her once..

"alright girls.. i see that we have reached the portrait level.. your assignment about drawing a person that you really love is due 2nd of Feb.. that's one week away"
"so now i can draw you?" a girl asked
Abhay smiled shyly at her "your decision.." she giggled and left "oh Piya"
"yes" she walked over to him
he waited until everyone was out the class "i see that you still are at first position.." he pointed at the wall
she looked at the wall then smiled at him "yes"
"um.. i was thinking that.." his heart was pounding and he was a bit shaking
"that?"
he looked at her, took a deep breath "go out for lunch?" piya's smile faded "its not far.."
"i cant" she interrupted him looking down
he looked at her "can i know why?"
she held her bag tight "im married.." she said softly, Abhay felt his heart stop.. he wanted to say something but he couldnt even open his mouth
"bye.." she greeted him not looking at his face and left the class

"Destiny"
Abhay grabbed the phone and called for room service. He ordered a set of cheeseburger and some spaghetti for Piya. They even got some cheesecakes for dessert. Once the food arrived, Piya had changed into a tank top and shorts.
They sat on the couch in front of the TV with the food on the coffee table. Abhay was engrossed in the action movie as he took a bite of his cheeseburger. Piya just stared at him.

"What?" asked Abhay, noticing her stare.

"Nothing. I just wonder how you can eat like that and still have that amazing body," said Piya, smiling.

"I just have high metabolism, I guess. I work out too, you know," said Abhay smiling at her.

"I know. But even Jeh worked out but he was really cautious of what he ate," said Piya. When those words came out of her mouth, she wondered how abhay would feel talking about her husband who was her first love. She was afraid she might be a little insensitive to bring Jeh up.

Abhay sensed the change in Piya's mood and he knew it was still weird for her to be talking about Jeh to him ever since they were married. He brushed his hands off of the burger crumbs and turned to Piya.

"Hey, you can talk about Jeh to me if you want to. I understand and respect that he was your everything and I want to know everything about you. I am still your best friend even after everything, right?" said Abhay.
