Haseena is not evil, that's their nature to feed on human blood. From what I know or have read, most vampires don't kill their prey i.e human, they only take enough blood and compel them to forget.
The only time they become dangerous is when they lose control and kill their prey. Then the superiors who are maintaining their order, come and kill that rouge vampire.
Abhay, Edward and Stefan are not real to me. They are those type of vampires who have not accepted that they are vampires. So it easy for them to hang on their human side and not feed on humans.
