Chapter 1
It was a sunny day. There were not much people in the bus stop as the only bus which will stop there is the bus to Krishnagiri. Most of the people in the bus stop were the workers of Landlords (Krishnagiri is a place where there is still the ruling of landlords going on). Suddenly everybody's attention turned towards a car. It was a stylish black Audi car. It was not the car that caught the attention of everybody, but it was the guy who stepped out of the car. He was a handsome, masculine man who is of medium height. As he removed his sun glasses, his chocolate brown eyes caught the attention of everybody.
"May I know the route to Krishnagiri?"
An elder showed him the direction to Krishnagiri. As he turns towards the car, he heard murmurs from behind. He just smirked and got in the car and ran towards the direction.
He was driving when his phone started ring. With irritation, he picked up the phone.
Other end: "hello Abhay, is that you?"
Abhay: "yeap. Tell me"
Other end: "you reached there or what?"
Abhay: "na... I'll reach within few minutes"
Other end: "ok... remember one thing. Be polite with them. You require their co-operation for completion of your study. And be careful beta. I'm sick and worried of your researches about the supernatural stuffs. Promise me that you'll take care of yourself."
Abhay (irritated): "ha mom. I know. Now will you please the cut the call? I have to drive"
He cut the call and threw the phone to seat. As he opened the dashboard for some coke, a photograph fell down. He took the photograph. It was the photo of a palace. He fingered through the photograph.
"Krishnagiri palace, here I come..."
The same time in Krishnagiri village, there was a girl standing near a Banyan tree. Her facial expression showed that she is waiting for someone. An old woman passed by.
Woman: "Piya beti, what are you doing here? It is a sunny day."
Piya: "Well... a guy is coming from town for some research work. So Uncle Ramcharan gave me the responsibility to guide him."
Woman: "oho... that's why they let you out. I wondered how come they got the good sense to let you out. This person must be very important for your family. By the way, how is he to see?"
To this question, Piya's face dropped.
Piya: "I don't know. I have never seen him before. But I know he is coming in a black car. Hey, that car seems like his... "
She excused herself from the old woman as she saw a black car coming.
She waved her hands frantically in front of the car to make it stop. Abhay, who was enjoying the drive, suddenly got perplexed by Piya's behaviour. He knew she was Piya as he got information from the palace that she'll come to pick him up. But what striked him most was the divine beauty of her. She was wearing a peacock blue salwar. She was looking astoundingly beautiful. She didn't have any make up on her. "She is a true natural beauty"- his heart told to himself. Piya on the other side was melt in his chocolate brown eyes. But she could control her emotions as years of experience taught her that. She suddenly withdrew her eyes from his and coughed breaking his trance.
Piya: "hi. I'm Piya. I hope you are Abhay, the researcher."
Abhay nodded and signalled her to get in the car by opening the door for her. She did as he told.
Abhay: "Put on your seat belt please and you didn't closed the door properly"
Piya's face dropped at this instruction. Abhay couldn't make it out why. Piya was looking worried. With confused mind, he asked her the reason for her expression change. With soo much hesitation, she answered him.
"Actually... I... I don't know how to do that"
Abhay felt that she is playing with him.
Abhay: "Are you freaking kidding me? Don't even think of playing any prank on me Missy"
Piya, feeling embarrassed by this comment, "I am telling you the truth. This is the first time I am travelling in a car. Please believe me"
His mouth wide opened with the sudden revelation. He couldn't believe his own ears. He wanted to question about this further. But as he saw her eyes are already watery, he kept his questions aside and decided to help her. He slowly moved towards her. She smelt divine. He leaned over her to take the seat belt. Her face was near to his neck. He could feel her hot breath against his skin. As he put the seat belt around her, his fingers touched her hand. Both felt a sparkle running down their spine. He suddenly withdrew his gaze from her and they drove to the palace. With her presence, Abhay felt a sense of belongingness. He looked at her. She was looking outside through the window. There was perfect silence in the car. But both of their hearts were telling too much...
