Chapter Three

Abhay glared at Cruz, who was clenching his mouth shut, and gave Abhay 'lets see what you gonna do now' look, Abhay faced Stacy, he appeared more relaxed than he felt inside, he didn't wanted to loss to Cruz, so he went along with the plan "Yeah Stacy, I have liked you since a long time… but" Abhay trailed off, and give her a gloomy glance.

"What Abby?" Stacy's beamy face curved into a frown, she was gazing at Abhay with expectation, Abhay huffed out a breath, announced load enough so that only Cruz and Stacy could listen "Am already engaged"

Cruz Jaw was on the floor, and Stacy was trying not to cry, instead of asking for details, she just moved away from there, leaving both of the friends alone.

"You are kidding right?" Cruz was not able to believe that his friend has hidden this information from him.

Abhay bust out laughing, he couldn't believe Cruz was this dumb, wiping away a tear Abhay clarified to his friend "Idiot, I was just trying to get rid of her" Cruz looked at him blinking and when his words sunk in, he shook his head.

"Dude, you are such an Evil" Cruz wouldn't have ever dated Stacy, if it wasn't for Abhay, who forced him to do that, because of some silly bet, but he did felt bad for her.

"Abby Chabby" A load female voice made them turn towards that person who was running in their direction, She looked at Abhay, who acted as if she doesn't existed.

"Hello, Mr. Arrogant, I'm talking to you" She waved her hands in front of Abhay, who just sighted and looked away, the next thing we know, was Abhay hopping in pain.

"What was that for?" Abhay hissed controlling his sting on his left leg; he glared at that girl with all his might.

"That was for ignoring Misha Dobryal" Misha grinned evilly at him, "I want my project back" her tone twisted from peppy to serious one.

"What Project?" Abhay crooked his eyebrows, pretending innocence, Cruz knew this very well, and wondered what this Misha girl was talking about.

"HELLLO, the Chemistry project which I gave you yesterday" Misha quoted every word with her hands, and narrowed her eyes at Abhay.

"I don't have any project with me" Abhay surely had the potential of making anyone believe in him, but Cruz wasn't one to deem him, even Misha wasn't buying it.

"Please Abhay, Pia will murder me" Misha has never requested anyone in her life, but this wasn't about her, and Pia was never going to leave her peacefully for this.

"Who's Pia?" Abhay hasn't heard about her before, it was amusing because he knows most of the Indian students living here.

"Actually, it's her project… I stole it" Misha confessed to Abhay, who gave her a disappointing look, although he may seem like a person who doesn't care about others, but he never wishes to be the reason for other's crisis.

"Okay, drop by our room in evening, ill give it back to you" Abhay gave her a small smile, before moving to Cruz, "Aren't we getting late mate? Classes may have started by now"

"Damn" Cruz has never been late to his classes, he may not look like a geek, but he has an inner nerd in him, "Let's go" with it he left the place, Abhay bid adieu to Misha and followed Cruz.

Pia was roaming around in her hostel room waiting for Misha, as if on clue Misha bust from the door, with a silly grin on her face, Pia didn't waste even a sec demanding about the project.

"He said to take it from his room in evening" Misha explained to Pia giving her a cheeky smile, but the smile soon turned into a frown, as Misha remembered something "Oh sh*t"

"What now?" Pia could see Misha budging from her stare, which obviously means, she is gonna throw a bomb at her.

"Well, today is opening of a new night club, and I don't wanna miss it for anything, so can you get the project by yourself please?" Misha gave her those puppy dog looks which Pia finds it hard to resist; Misha even went on her knees "Please Pia"

"Okay… I" Before Pia could finish her sentence, Misha launched her onto a bear hug, "Love you Pia, you are such a sweetheart" Pia hugged her back, and mouthed 'Love you too' in Misha's ear.

Pia's eyes were swelling after too much staring at her computer, her gaze drafted to the clock on wall, and her eyes almost bulge out of their sockets, as she grasped the time, it was half past 9, and she hasn't yet got her project back.

Without waiting a second, she paced out of her room, making sure to lock it; Shai her roomie had her own pair of keys, and Pia hasn't seen much of her today, which was kinda usual, as Shai prefers to stay in library most of the evenings.

As Pia arrived at the boys' dorm, she loathed herself for not asking Misha more about this guy Abhay Raichand, although Pia has heard plenty about Abhay, however she has never got a chance to meet him, she reached out in her pocket for her phone, but realized not bringing it with her.

"What should I do now?" Pia asked herself, soon her gaze landed on a figure walking in the direction of stairs, without thinking she called him out "Hey there" the guy looked around, she waved her hand to catch his attention.

Cruz looked at this cute curly haired girl; who looked anxious, he hadn't seen her before but anyway he went up to her "Need any help Miss?" he asked with his polite tone.

"Yeah, could you please tell me, where can I find Abhay Raichand?" Pia looked at this good-looking guy expectantly, who just gave her a smile in return.

"Well, why don't you come with me, I will show you his room" Cruz was surprised when this girl asked him about Abhay, but for some reason he didn't want her to know about him being Abhay's friend.

"Yeah" Pia could make out something on this guy's face, which made her trust him.

"There you go" Cruz said gesturing to their dorm room; the girl hesitated before knocking on the door.

"Thanks…" Pia trailed off, as she didn't know this guy's name.

"Cruz and you Miss?" Cruz had a feeling about seeing more of her from now on.

"Pia" She smiled at him,

"It was nice meeting you Pia" Cruz saluted to her, as he treads off from there.

Pia fond it really cute,she was so lost in her thoughts that she didn't realize about leaning against the door, until she lost her balance and fell on something hard.

"What the hell?" Abhay groaned as a female body fell on him, he pushed her off him and stood up.

Pia also stood up "Sorry" she murmured as her face heated from embarrassment as she looked up, her breath caught on her throat, the guy in front of her had one of the best looking eyes her gaze has ever landed on, it were of mid-night blue color, just beautiful.

"Like what you see?" Abhay winked at this cute curly haired girl, making her gasp.
