Sorry for the make-you-hopeful title, ladies! Ah, not that I wouldn't mention I am hopeful about Misha and Kabir now, uh - but the title's anyhow, not in that context of it.
Misha is betrayed. Misha is angry. Misha is unreasonable but Misha is still right. She doesn't have to be financially independent to assert to her father she lives 'alone'. She doesn't have to courteously walk up to Abhay and answer his questions which fall upon her ears as swords cutting through her ear drums, if she slaughters away - it's evident she is in pain. Abhay sure understands and likes Misha. Arnab definitely dint spit 'Pia' on Misha's face, he remembers her name. But even though, Misha overlooks this and the fact that she couldn't force herself into messing things for Pia - this miserable state of her cannot be ruled out and she is still my most favorite character on the show.
Misha's calculations of her own emotions are hypothetical. She got over Shaurya as early as she could have, no wonder - she even invited him to join her club of agonized women who hate men - pretexting the one simple thing that it was him, she had gotten to holding a club like that, anyway. Misha doesn't realize she cannot stay alone or she loves Pia and Abhay and Birdie and her parents she's got her back subjected to, because she's been betrayed really bad.
It hurts when the images of your beloveds come shattering to the surface and when you are expected to instantly accept them. No one will make an effort to put back those broken pieces, but you will be expected to make peace with them. Anyhow, it is not in every human's nature and Misha identifies with that. She's human and if she's being an evil rich kid who refuses to see beyond her own misery, it is more than justified. She's young and has always been guarded and they are still just asking her to come back, the effort to make things works shall be put in by nobody. When she fixes things for herself, lets her frustration dissolve and have her vision clear - she'll have to join the broken ends herself, the wounds will heal but they'd never fade off her memory. Time and again, circumstances will scratch off the wounds and she'd be vulnerable again.
At the moment, all Misha needs is love. But - she wouldn't want to mess with it, because love has fetched her momentary cynic-classics, harshness and umpteen wounds. Why would she want to let anybody come close to her?
Kabir!
Nice-guy or whatever, even if not amazing an actor - VG extracts the best from the scanty scopes of Kabir's character which is like, cool. He made me awe and he made me wince in empathetical pain for a while in the episode and I realized he's still so much of a waste but through and through, some people or I'd say characters in a show are meant to hurt all the time. Abhay's the pained-I-am emperor, I know but he's gonna be all victory in the end, we all know that - it is Kabir who's gonna be put through hell really. He's obtained pain out of love. Why'd he want to be the nice-guy, anyway? Why'd he believe that all he still needs is love? How will he pardon the hopelessness of his life? How will he let things be and let himself undergo the same pain all the time? The lovelorn that he is, would he ever trust his feelings again and take a 'love' chance, like ever? Until his wounds are healed, until the agony drains out - seriously, are the writers interested in showing us that?
I infer - I should take fictional less seriously.
