Nice topic .. Well that's Ekta Kapoor for you!! She'll make triangles squares pentagons hexagons heptagons all to way to dodecahedrons .. uff! I still remember the Prem-Mukti-Sharad-Karan-Palchin-Devki-Debonita-Manmeet angle and how I hated it!

It really ruins the essence of a love story and Ekta Kapoor is the most experienced at making the best and then ruining it all! She probably failed a chemistry class in high school and then vowed to make the most of chemistry in the real world hence so many angles in her love stories 😡

I'm not against new entries if the story demands but here it has become a daily affair😳It has been only 4 months since the show started and there are already too many characters,love triangles and plots to be revealed.The show will lose its essence if they keep on bringing more 'twists and turns' like this.Let the story move forward first!!!!

I'll seriously bang my head on the wall if they introduce another new character anytime soon

All this new characters which havnt done anything particularly useful in terms of story line are i feel nothing but a bhooj! humph. Sorry if i sound rude but thats how i feel.

Esp after the new guy for Mish thing. Like you i had started to like MiYa but now all of a sudden out of nowhere a new guy arrives!! Like What! Are we supposed to conveinently forget the past month and all that MiYa we got? Huh!

Really i hope the story gets back on track soon and this over population is controlled. :\

yeah...it's kinda weird...but...I don't know. have seen too much of this stuff - break ups n make ups and new relationships n triangles n even octagons in my college - now I'm feeling sort of immune to it. 😆

can understand your frustration though - that's how I felt during most of my first year....n in my final year I still have these days when I think I can't take it anymore. 😆

I have seen a lot of relationships breaking apart and making up in high school and college. So, I know what you mean. But, to be honest, I have never seen that many triangles, octagons, or rectangles in one person's life as Ekta maiyya's shows have it. It's like her every female protagonist has to have at least 2-3 different guys liking her and chasing after her. In real life, I don't think that's the case. I don't think 3 different guys would be chasing after one girl like we have in PKYEK in the case of Abhay, Kabir, and now possibly Siddhant.

Heck its hard for guy to even chase one girl as they just find someone else easily and we are talking about three guys here. 😆 Also, like in the case of Panchi, she just broke up with Danish and its quite obvious that she will be paired with Siddhant. In real life, I think many girls aren't lucky to find love so fast again after breaking up with someone else. I mean in Ekta's shows its like we know who is going to be paired up with whom and there has to be like more than one guy or more than one girl liking a specific person, which is often the main character of the show! 😆

Also, many of the love stories in Ekta's show are so obvious. It's like we know that when a guy and girl hate each other so much they'll eventually fall in love.........I don't know in how many shows I have seen her use this concept as in the case of Kutumb, Kitani Mohabbat hai, Kasam Se, and now in PKEYK.

In real life, love can sometimes be complicated, subtle and come in different forms instead of the usual cliched stories we see in serials. 😆

@purple: I know I have heard the terrors of Ekta maiya too. I have only watched 1-2 shows of hers which she destroyed as well. After that I stopped watching her shows but, my sister used to watch her show Kasam Se.........and I remember whenever I would ask her, she would be like "oh he likes her and this girl likes him, and so on." And a few days, if you ask her again about what's the story about it come out something like this, "you see he liked her but, now he doesn't anymore but, he doesn't want her to know. She likes him but, he doesn't. She is his daughter but, he doesnt' know and neither does she..........blah blah"

I was like God! How in the world can people keep up with Ekta's shows...........they are so damn confusing! But, I thought with PKEYK, this woman has recovered and will probably try something different. But, NO! She had to throw her saas-bahu dragging masala in here too!

lol....seriously, I have the total scene going on in my college - even EK would be shocked to see it, I can bet!

for example, there is this girl who is totally crazy about a guy. they had been 'together' for a few months in the beginning of the first year, until another girl joined the college. now this guy went after her like anything. most of the boys in our stream were crazy about her, and wherever she went, at least 10 would follow. she became very good friends with the first girl.

now, she would tease and flirt, but very coyly. frustrated with her, the first guy tried to flirt with me, but to no avail.😆 he and the first girl were friendly with me too.

one of the second girl's suitors (referred to as 'the second guy' henceforth) used to try and flirt with me, and fell in love with a third girl - another new entry. the third girl already had a bf, plus she and her bf would 'share' with another couple. she got a chamchi (fourth girl), who would desperately try to get any guy she could, and flirts with the second guy a lot. the second guy still likes the third girl, hates the fourth, and is in love with a fifth.

the first guy has dated all of his and the first girl's female friends, is going around with God knows who, and keeps the first one as reserve.

so you see, even EK's going to get a headache if she comes to my college. 🤣

@finding love so soon......sometimes it's love, sometimes just a rebound....sometimes it happens, sometimes it doesn't. 😆 I'm a li'l confused about this one coz ...well....long story. 😛
