Panchi gets candid

Panchi aka Vahbbiz Dorabjee of Pyaar Kii Ye Ek Kahaani on STAR One reveals the similarities and differences between her and her character in the show. Read on to know the real person behind the face that plays Panchi.

Are you passionate about dramatics in real life like Panchi? Which are your favourite plays?

I am not very passionate about dramatics. My favourite play is Zangoora, that is the first Broadway in India. My friend Hussain stars in it, and it is larger than life.

Did you participate in plays during school or college days and memories of it?

I participated in extracurricular activities. We had options, and I choose Kathak. I was also part of the choir.

Any memorable incident from college days that you would like to share?

There are lots of incidents, as college life was superb. I was modeling in Pune, and even won the Miss Pune contest.

Do you visit your college when you get the time?

Not really, because I am from Pune and am now in Mumbai. However, I do visit school sometimes.

Do you have a sibling and do you both indulge in fights?

Yes I have a younger brother and the relationship that I share with him is similar to my relationship with Misha inPyaar Kii Ye Ek Kahaani.

Are you possessive about loved ones in real life?

I do have a possessive streak, but I make sure it is not claustrophobic. Rather than possessive, I would call it protective.

Do you believe in the supernatural?

Yes, I believe in the supernatural and the supreme power. I am a strong believer of Sai Baba.

Your favourite books/movie/TV show with supernatural characters?

I don't read much. In movies, I loved the Twilight series. As for TV shows, I like my own show, Pyaar Kii Ye Ek Kahaani, for its unusual concept.
