Yes, it would have been too much to witness for them. Though I do hope that Pushpa has a talk with Rashi about this where she outlines to her how as a girl, she needs to learn to recognise red flags and never settle for a man like Ramesh. And if by chance she ends in a relationship with a toxic person, she has her mother and 2 brothers to confide in, and she should never stay in a situation or place which does not accord her the basic respect of being a human being. Just to drive home the message to young girls also that they deserve better.

Also, I respect that they kept it a straightforward deal. Neelima raised a weapon on Ramesh in self-defence, but she was also willing to bear the consequences and be jailed for the same when the police arrived. Right to Self Defence obviously does not automatically mean there is no punishment at all, but there is a consideration in court to atleast state your case.

I'm hoping Sonalben will eventually give witness statement. It is important for her to step up so that the right to self defence can be pushed for. Also, the other ladies like Susheela can also help to validate the claims. Maybe both the daughters Deepti and Prathna will help their mothers to realise that if it was them instead of Neelima in such a situation, wouldn't they want them to get their justice? Apart from Pushpa, if the young ones also take up the reign of this issue, will be amazing to see!
