Ganesh ji ko gore say is an elephant and laugh at the fact, so would so you that is stereotyping as well? Faith and stereotype are two DIFFERENT things. Go to India, and everyone will respect a gao b/c it gives so much, some more than others.

Here is a stereotype......when Ramanand Sagar proposed that he'll make an epic on the 10 Gurus, a handful of Sikh Punjabi said that no human can portray a Guru. Krishna, Mahabharat, Ramayan were made but no objection. That riot created a stereotype where people assume that every Sikh Punjabi only respects their faith, and there is no respect for others.
