Ok- so

what ideas has everyone got?

I think I have mentioned before about a thaali for the 'main course' and I am pretty sure all of us agree to having lassi.

FOR THE DRINKS

I'm thinking we can have three types of lassi

-Namkin

- Mithi Lassi

-Mango Lassi

FOR THE STARTERS:

I'm thinking Gol Gappa/ Chaat and all that..but is that South or North. Otheriwse maybe tandoor chicken or something like that. I'll research on this one.

FOR THE MAIN COURSE

Then in the thaali (if anyone else thinks its a good idea) we can have 3 vegetarian dihes and 2 non vegetarian dishes along with tandoori roti (a Punjabi favourtie)

FOR DESSERTS the first Punjabi desert to come to my mind is ladoo! LIKE SERIOUSLY! Personally my favorite is boondhi ka ladoo but there is HEAPS of types. Also halwa is like MUST!! It is what Punjab is famous for :P
