coming to the update:
I am a sucker for historical romance and this has all the elements: betrayal, war, power-struggle, love... medieval humans had their own fascinating stories and world view and their believes shaped a lot of civilizations both for the good and the bad. I applaud you for exploring this concept! you say we are exemplary writers but you are no less! you too are able to thoroughly manipulate each concept that you take on and you give depth to your characters!

Satyendra was a loyal subject but of course power brings envy which let to his downfall. he expected the same faithfulness from the emperor even with glaring evidence but did not get it which embittered him. this one act resulted in a war which spanned generations and what should end it? love of course!

"No one is born hating another person because of the color of his skin, or his background, or his religion. People must learn to hate, and if they can learn to hate, they can be taught to love, for love comes more naturally to the human heart than its opposite." -Nelson Mandela.

If Yash was against the match despite the benefits his mother put forth, then only falling in love could have made him change his mind. I am eager to read how the princess melted his heart

as I said, superbly done Dhu-Dhu, and thank you so much for this wonderful gift! I am most impatiently awaiting part 2 😃

Awww... Tessa, As much as u enjoyed reading it, even I enjoyed writing it. I would call this as my dream story bcoz I so wanted to write a historical romance on Aarya but I didnt have time to think deeper. And the idea of marriage between the descendants of two rival clans, a concrete reason for their enmity, the circumstances under which the marriage was finalized, etc. took this much time for me to interweave the events in a chronological order.

But I am glad I was able to share my dream story with u all on such a spl occasion.

And coming to your shower of compliments, a big big thanks and welcome for having enjoyed the gift I have given you.
You get me blushing too heavily at times bcoz of such compliments that my parents had once suspected that I was dreaming of some guy that caused me to blush and I had to steal private moments to read and grin to my heart s content, without such embarassing positions.

Not that I am complaining but just to let you know how u all make me feel.
Thanks dear.
