Yash continued speaking to Prateek and Aarti asking questions about their friendship because in his heart Yash was feeling envious of the younger man who seemed to have a special bond with Aarti just how close Yash wanted to know.

"Prateek can you fill me in on my Aarti likes and dislikes?"

"Your Aarti when did I become yours??"

"Ahem let us see when you agreed to meet me here, no objections to our marriage and yes we got engaged about an hour back so yeah you are my Aarti"

"DI the man is very possessive over you and he knows nothing off you" laughed Prateek "Your beauty captured him in your love trap, Yash bhai good luck she is as talkative as she is beautiful and dangerous with her hockey stick so beware"

"Prateek I know of her love for talking and hockey although she is younger to me I remember her from high school, she scared away the bullies and became the heroine of the younger introvert kids."

"You knew of my existence in school?" asked a shocked Aarti her beautiful opened wide.

"Yeah you were on scholarship living in an orphanage everyone knew you, but I remember you are the hockey champion who latter became the captain of the team,the goal scorer, the girl who toped her class in exam and who would help all who asked even those who were too shy to ask for help. My younger sister Neelum and brother Akash kept me informed about you after I left there for university. You were brave and confident I admired that no wonder you are a lawyer and mamaji sings your praises "

Aarti was flabbergasted self talk he knew about me back then and was interested enough to continue to enquire about me. I always thought the great hot handsome Yash Scindhia was a snob surrounded by his wealthy friends picking on us the less fortunate, and the girls who claimed to be his girlfriend's thought they were princesses to be waited on by us the poor middleclass souls. Who would have thought he was just like us aware of what was happening in his environment and not self-centred as she thought.'

"Di what are you thinking reminiscing about the old days" teased Prateek

"No no Prateek I am just thinking it is becoming late and we have to work tomorrow I have to be in court for ten am I need to get some sleep" but she was red all over her face and did not look in Yash direction because he was smiling at her

"Di it is your engagement and it is still early and if we stay another hour or so won't be bad besides you have to meet Yash siblings I know I want to meet them as your bhai I think I should know who are your future family."

Yash "You are very procetive of your friend"

"Yes I am going aboard for a few years so I want to ensure she is in good hands before I leave"

"Your friendship is that close" asked Yash

"Yes she is my di my best friend and I love her lots," replied Prateek

Pankaj who was observing the trio was curious about the longhaired bearded young man who was very friendly with Aarti; so in his role as elder brother came to investigate "Hello I am Pankaj Yash older brother and you are?"

"Not a thief or criminal I assure you I am Prateek Aarti's friend" and he extended his hand to shake Pankaj's hand

Neelum and Akash came across they wanted to also speak with their new Bhabhi

"Namaste Bhabhi" both said and looked intently at Prateek who stood his ground

"Why all looking at me like that do you all have something longhaired guys"

"No" said Akash "but you are an enigma long matted hair and beard yet you are dressed in expensive clothing and wearing good cologne, you speak like and educated man, and your comment about flaunting wealth shows you don't care much to please society. Aarti Bhabhi clearly thinks highly off you"

"Well then let me introduce myself my name is Prateek I grew up in the orphanage with Aarti didi and you two are Yash younger siblings correct"

"Yes I am Neelum and he is Akash"

"And since you both are younger than me you can call me Prateek bhayia" Aarti held his hand "What di it is only right that I too am called bhayia; I am older than them, and it is not like they won't see me around especially when I return from the US after all I am a permanent fixture in your life."

"Of course you are my chote bhai and I would not have it differently but give them time to know you naughty, loveable ways first" and she give him her special older sister smile of encouragement.

The four siblings looked at the comrade behaviour of Prateek and Aarti it was strange to them to see the love between two strangers who were not romantically in love with each other yet shared a special love of friends and a bond of sibling.

Yash smiled as he remembered Prateek's appearance he would have never guess that that longhaired young man and the handsome clean shaven short styled haired man are the same.

Yash met Prateek again a few months ago at a business conference in London and both being from India made fast friends but the little scamp left out that one his is Aarti's chote bhai or that they are blood brothers.

In addition, G3 ma she kept on interacting with him and his siblings in disguise and never said that she is Pankaj and his ma, and both Radha ma and Aarti are her accomplices. Yash smiled to himself

G3 "Beta are you okay not too angry or hurt are you by our role play, disguise and hiding the truth from you"

"Ma I understand why you all did this remember I grew up in SM with dadaji, dadaiji, buaji and bauji. They are strong willed people and bauji refuses to stand up against them. Both he and Radha ma would have their private discussions make their compromise with the family then do their own thing in the hope of not getting caught. Yash stood up "Ma I am calling Pankaj bhayia and inviting him Bhabhi and the kids over for lunch and maybe dinner" he smiled at her

"Go ahead beta I hope they are as receptive as you are "said a worried G3

"Don't worry ma Pankaj missed you just as much as I did and hoped for a reunion someday"

Yash invited his older brother and his family over to his new home they were surprised Yash has a new home. Last night when he called to say that he is fine and that he had found Aarti and Ansh he did not mention that he was not returning to the SM. In fact the elders were waiting for his return and to get their claws into Aarti again. Radha ma was smiling like she knew something or was she just happy that Yash and Aarti had left the house, Pankaj just did not get her behaviour this morning she got up did her pooja shared parasd then made breakfast without Vidhi's help even smartly answered back buaji taunts. Now she is practically shoving the four of us out of the house into the car. What is her problem I thought she loves us and we are her kids too.

"Vidhi did Radha ma tell you anything this morning she is behaving strangely"

"Ji you are not thinking she is happy Yash and Aarti left are you? That dadaji will disown Yash bhayia and Akash will receive his share?"

"No Radha ma is not like that you very well know that money mean little to her she has always loved and been kind to us despite being our stepmother."

"Yes that is true so stop worrying and concentrating on your driving I can't wait to see Aarti and my Anshu"

Then they came to a large house with a huge iron gate and a busser Pankaj got out and pressed the busser Yash answered "Bhayia open the gates and drive up to the house I will meet you outside"

Pankaj followed Yash's instructions and stopped in front a massive oak doors Yash with Ansh in his arms and Aarti came out to greet their family.

"Aarti how are you I missed you so much" said a crying Vidhi

"Chachi we missed you too" said Vedant and Vedicka hugging Aarti

"And how is my baby Anshu" Vidhi hugged him and kissed him all over his face

"I missed you to badi ma"

"Only her" complained Pankaj

"I Missed you too badi papa"

"And we are no one" complained the kids

"I missed my bhayia and didi the most" Ansh hugged them

"Come inside bhayia I have someone for you to meet in fact there are two special people for you all to meet" said an excited Yash ushering in his family

They all entered the lounge area and saw a smiling G3 and Prateek "Namaste " said the four new entrant "Namaste and please sit" replied G3

Pankaj and Vidhi shared a look of confusion who are these two they look familiar to them but could not place them, the lady's voice sounded familiar.

"Pankaj bhayia meet G3 SP Scindhia our ma and this is Prateek our younger brother this is her home; and she is also Aarti foster ma and Prateek is the ..."

Yash did not get to finish his sentence Pankaj said "The longhaired bearded young man from your engagement and wedding" he laughed

"Pankaj bhayia are you okay with this?" asked Yash

"Yash to be honest I kind of knew or hoped that my suspicions were true remember I am six older than you so I spent more time with ma than you, but I was afraid to hope or ask questions"

"Pankaj beta what are you saying" asked G3 when all looked confused with his answer.

"Ma your voice and smell cannot hide no matter how much you try I am surprise Yash did not pick up on it"

Yash "I just felt a sense of familiarity but honestly I thought all moms smell like coming home to their kids and I considered her as my sass my Aarti's ma."

"Betas I tried to keep my distance from you both whenever we met but close enough to spend time with you so I could observe and be a part of your life. Because I too was afraid of being recognised not by you too but by your elders and they were sure to cause some embarrassing scene had they recognise me, and I was uncertain of your reaction to me. Radha assured me that you both are good loving boys very different from your elders, also after Aarti married Yash she too told me the same but I was still sceptical, living in that house under their rule thank god you got a kind stepmother as Radha who guide you in the right path."

"Ma you are Radha ma are friends?" asked Yash

"Yes beta I met her at the orphanage a few years after I was forced to divorce your bauji and they got married. I recognised her as your stepmother because there were always pictures in the media of the Scindhia family and their success. I did not expect that she would of recognise me; she came up to me and asked me if I was G3 the first wife she recognised me from the few photos that the servant Ramdularie had saved to pass along to you boys. Radha apologised to me on their behalf and also on her family behalf. She knew your bauji was married because she attended school with Maya, but she did not know just how wicked your elders were they lied to her family claiming that I was a bad woman only wanted money and fame how I was a bad mother ill-treating my boys, and disrespecting my elders, how I hated poor widowed Maya and wanted her in an ashram for widows. They claimed that I demanded a large sum of money and shares in their company before I agreed to divorce your bauji, and I left you both to go live with another man in the USA. Radha told me that they even told you boys the same. It was only after she married into that family she learnt the truth of their wicked nature and your bauji's spineless behaviour; she made it a point to keep you away from their bad influence and keep my memory alive for the two of you. Radha said she tried to find me using the help of her brothers it was her Bhabhi that saw my dresses for sale at a charity event and enquired about the designer and found out my name she told Radha and that prompt her come to the orphanage to investigate for herself; she told me about you two showed me pictures, made albums and give me , invited me to functions at the SM or at the hotel ballroom but when I attended I stayed outside in the garden looking in through the doorway out of fear or being recognised and rejection. She made sure you received my gifts and blessing..

Pankaj I was there for your wedding Radha made sure I was a guest at the resort where your wedding was held, I attended Vidhi baby shower and the kids naming ceremony. Radha had been my friend my sister in all these years. I had a dream of Aarti and Yash wedding but Radha made it a reality with the help of her bhayias."

Prateek said "What about me everyone forgot me" making a sad face

"Okay Prateek bhai tell me about yourself" replied Vidhi

"I am a very nice loving young man, who manages my ma's business but I want to know all about my siblings so I sometimes stalk my Yash bhayia as his young friend, and get myself invited to parties at his home, where I covertly observe them as part of the crowd pretending that I don't know my Aarti didi. Which she happily scolds me for my behaviour but I don't mind; besides I believe if our grandparents know that I am her foster bhai they would call me a gold digger or some other insulting names; and I may forget that they are my elders and hotly answer them back"
Well that left all speechless then Pankaj laughed out "We most certainly have to keep you away from dadaji, daadiji, and buaji"

Yash joined in "Before world war three starts from SM" and everyone joined in.

They heard the busser Prateek answered it was Paridhi and G3 rolled her eyes and said "Lord help me" Vidhi give her a confused look to which G3 answered "Just wait and watch you will understand"
