Chapter 3 part A

Another week passed and Aarti had time to think her Yash will never give up on her he loves her and their son; no she was momentary denying his love for them, how could she even believe that he will shun their love how can she be so foolish he love her and their son the poor man must be going crazy with worry for them. I have to contact him tell him where we are.

She had a few coins that she received from the more affluent who visited the ashram would it be enough to call home she took Ansh and they went to the nearest pay phone. Paridhi answered and accepted the charges
"Aarti bhabhi where are you tell me Yash bhayia is not at home he is out looking for you are you and Ansh okay I will get bauji"

But luck was not on Aarti's side some young boys saw her talking and grabbed Ansh they refused to give her Ansh until she give them the remainder of her money so Aarti had to abandon her call in order to save her crying son from the young goons.

Never mess with a mother she becomes a dangerous lioness to protect her cub and Aarti was no different she dealt with those ruffians but their parents had a different opinion and they went to the ashram to make trouble for Aarti so she took Ansh and her little bundle of clothes and left she was going to Delhi her destination the shrine where both she and Yash visited in the past.

Aarti and Ansh walked to the crossroads where they met more people waiting to get a lift from passing strangers on the road to Delhi there was a vendor selling drinks he felt sorry for the lady and her son she barely had enough to by a bottle of milk for her son so he give her a bottle water for free.

A truck stopped he was going in the direction to Delhi stopping a few villages before Aarti, Ansh and a few persons got on the drive went on for hours the family sited next to Aarti give her a roti and curry to share with her son they told her about the village where the truck was going and that she could find shelter at the temple or the mosque there. The truck driver showed her where to find the temple and he felt sorry for her because she reminded him of his daughter and give her a few coins. Tired Aarti found the temple where she and Ansh slept on the floor there with a few people then someone woke them people came to worship and were distributing food, money and clothes Aarti went and sat with the group of beggars she and Ansh got the food and other items. They stayed there for two more days as both she and her son needed the time to rest and rejuvenate themselves before restarting their journey.

Flashback to SM and Radha

"Bauji Bauji Aarti bhabhi is on the phone come quick!"

"Aarti bahu where are Aarti bahu how are you and Ansh stay there I will send Yash" but there was no answer then the recording came on indicating the call was cancelled.

"Paridhi bahu what did she say" asked a frantic SP

"That she and Ansh are okay and I told her how worried we all are and Yash is out looking for her"

SP called his PI friend the man had been working on tracing the call made on Yash's and Prateek's phone they found the pay phone and was checking the surrounding area when he got SP's call and hurried to the SM.

Radha was out purchasing vegs when she heard and saw the men asking about Aarti and Ansh she asked the vendor who informed her that the lady's family was searching for her. Radha call Akash who took her to the SM.

Arriving there she told the watchman that she have some information to share with Mr. S concerning his bahu, the watchman told SP and Radha was allowed inside "Namaste Sir ji I am Radha my son's name is Akash I heard that you are searching for your missing bahu and grandson I have some information to give"

"How much money do you want for this information"

"Nothing Sir ji just to see Aarti and Ansh happy with their family"

"So you know their names where are they where are you hiding them if you harm them the police will deal with you severly!"

"I don't have them Sir ji and why are you jumping to conclusions without hearing what I have to say!" she shouted back "If this is your attitude no wonder Aarti refuse to return here"

"Look just tell me what you know about my bahu and grandson!" replied an irritated SP

"My son Akash drives an auto and he was driving along this street when he almost run down a young mother holding her little son there were two women chashing her with stick and hurling abuse at her it was night and the rain was pouring down so he felt sorry for her and took her into the auto and brought them to our himble home the little fellow developed fever and was ill for the week I give him home remidies and he got better aarti also became ill but I have to say she ias a strong woman a fighter. At the end of the week I told her to a pay phone to call her family and she was insulted she did not tell me what was said but from her behavior I just knew she was again insulted and humiliated by her so called family. Akash and I know of an ashram that helps women like her and my son took her and Ansh there about a week ago"

"What you people could off come here and told this before do you have any idea how worried my son is we are all worried for her and our Anshu or maybe you could of gone to the police whit this information!"

"Mr. S how were to know that you were worried two women from this family chased out a woman and her son from their family into the cold puring rain at night and you want be to believe that you were worried! Well I have said what I came to say now I will take your leave!"

"Wait you have not said the name and location of the ashram or do you want money first. Paridhi bahu here is the key go into my locket and take out a stacks of money hurry"

"Sir Ji I don't want your money but I will tell you the location of the ashram." And Radha left but she was in two mind about this family what if they find Aarti and hurt her and take the boy from her. No I can't allow that she went to the nearest pay phone and called Akash they have to warn Aarti.

Radha and Akash made their way to the Ashram while SP called Pankaj and informed him they two made their way to the Ashram.

Yash was so happy with excitement to get to the ashram when they arrived he ran inside calling out for his Aarti and Ansh followed by his brothers and Aaman, they spoke to the authorities there who confirmed that Aarti and Ansh were there but the left the day before. Yash refused to believe that they were not there and he looked through the property himself a woman told him about the incident with the boys and how their parents came here to complain so Aarti took her son Ansh and left. Yash broke down he came so close to finding them his brothers tried their best to comfort them, but after he calm down he decided to resume their search on the road to Delhi.

Radha and Akash who had arrived late the previous evening saw and heard Yash his weak tired state the deep sorrow in his eyes her heart went out for the young man but all she could do was to go offer a pray for the young mother and her son to be kept safe and that she finds her way back to her husband.

Pankaj called and updated his father with the latest news.

End of flashback

While at the temple Aarti heard that the land owner of the area was selling goods to Delhi and who was one of the driver as he came to the temple to ask for blessing and to keep him and his fellow drivers safe during the long journey also free from bandits attacking their cravan. Aarti approached the man for help a lift to Delhi for herself and her son. The man refused at first but there was something pure and innocent in the lady's and her son eyes that he agreed asking her if she can cook for them as payment for the two days journey. Aarti agreed

Aarti and Ansh sat up front with the driver and loader but in their fifties they talked and treated Aarti and Ansh as their own there were at tolal of ten trucks filled with goods drving through the back roads. Aarti happily cooked for them when they stopped for the night to rest then they moved on again.

Gayatri and Maya flash back

Almost three weeks of this poverty G3 had enough she had enough money so she told Maya that they are going to take a trip to Delhi to the temple and make their offerings and beg for forgiveness for their sins. G3 called home and Paridhi answered G3 told that she needed some more money and if pari could help her that she wanted to make offerings at a temple and offer a pray for Aarti's and Ansh safe return. She also asked about everyone wellbeing and said that she is sorry for her behavior and wants to return to her family soon."

Paridhi being a softie and still fears her saas even if she is not there took money from Prateek's locker and sent it with Gopie for G3.

G3 and Maya packed small bags and made their way by train to Delhi to the famous temple to offer their prays asking for their forgiveness from god and for the safety of Aarti and Ansh; so that their family can reunite and be happy once again.

End of flash back.

Aarti and Ansh arrived in Delhi safely now they had to make their way to the temple it was now three weeks since they had been homeless.

Yash was desperate and growing thinner his brothers had to force him to eat and sleep but they too had arrived in Delhi

They booked in a cheap hotel close to the temple but unknown to then Maya and G3 also booked a room there.

That night their paths crossed Maya "Bhabhi look Pankaj and Prateek betas there over there!"

"Where jiji where are my boys? Is Yash with him?"

They saw Prateek with Pankaj carrying food, and water to a room; they quickly followed and shouted for them "Pankaj beta Preateek beta wait!"

The brothers heard their ma's voice turned and saw their ma and bua hurrying towards them "What are the two of you doing here?" asked Pankaj

"Beta are you not happy to see us. Where is Yash? Have you found Aarti bahu and Ansh?"

"No we have not and Yash is inside the room"

"I want to see him please" cried G3 "Yes I too want to see my Yash" said Maya

"Ma wait here let me ask him first we still have not forgiven the both of you"

Said Pankaj and he went into the room where Yash was crying and talking to Aaman he was doubting the sincerity of his love for Aarti and Ansh, he was cursing himself that there is something lacking in him that is why god has not answered his prays of reuniting him with his wife and son; that this is the second time god has separated them from him. Why was life so cruel to him Aarti and little Anshu?

They did not realize that G3 and Maya heard the cries outside and G3's heart was breaking at the pitiful mournful sound of her son's voice and she realized then that she is the cause of all this suffering.

"Pankaj what shall we do should we tell bhayia that ma and bua are here?"

"What ma and bua are here! What are they doing here!" shouted Yash

"Bhayia they want to see you ma looks so worried and thinner bua looks older they both want to see you"

"Well I don't want to see then they took my Aarti and Ansh away from me"

"Yash my friend forgive them they are old and are probably very sorry for their actions speak to them nah here what they have to say" said Aaman

"Yes bhayia give them a hearing may be they are truly sorry for their mistakes" said Prateek

"Okay but if they bad mouth my wife and son that is it I don't want to ever see them again"

Pankaj opened the door "ma bua come in "

They nervously came in and saw Yash sitting on the edge of the bed he looked so lost and thinner his beard full grown out, eyes sunken in their sockets with dark circles. "Beta" G3 approached timidly to him "Yash beta I am so sorry beta I did not know the truth please forgive this foolish old woman"

Maya moved towards Yash "Beta please forgive me too it was also my mistake"

"What are the two you doing here in Delhi?" asked Yash

"We came to offer prays for Aarti and Ansh safety and for our family's forgiveness" said G3

"Ma I must ask but what brought about this sudden change of heart?"

"Beta I understand if you doubt us but please believe we have changes and we both deeply regret our behavior towards Aarti and Ansh"

"Ma please you are my mother so I don't want to hate you but saying these words won't help the damage has already been done I may or may not forgive you but I am happy that you both have realize your mistake and are willing to change. You are both willing are you not?"

"Yes beta we are going to make the effort to change that is why we came here to do our prays and distribute offerings to the beggars tomorrow"

"Good for we to also plan to do the same tomorrow why don't you two go and have your rest we will meet tomorrow and go to the temple together" said Yash.
