The wedding day arrived it was a hustle and a bustle the Scindhia's wanted everything to be perfect Paridhi's family wanted the very best for their only child they are a modern family and their relatives wanted a big celebration so there were many dancers local groups some telly stars and a few Bollywood stars the elder Scindhias did not mind sharing this bill because it brought extra status to their family.
Aarti was so nervous and her best friend Mansi only added to her nerves teasing her about her wedding night and how hot, and sexy Yash is and giving her suggestions about what she should do to him in bed.
Prateek on the other hand decided to tease Yash while they were getting dressed, but Yash turned it around and begun teasing him with Pankaj joining in the fun, poor boy was so embarrass his face turned read. G3 came and told time for the barrat so they accompanied her downstairs.
Paridhi's mother and Shoba welcomed their respective son in law to the wedding venue.
Paridhi was escorted to the mandap by the mother and aunts her smiling papa met her on the way he hugged and kissed her before she took her place in the mandap.
Yash sat in the mandap waiting Aarti arrival but after twenty minutes she did not arrive the guest begun to talk Yash got worried SP sent G3 to go find out what was happening but Yash said no he will go.
Aarti was so nervous she kept on thinking about what Mansi said, and the sensations she feel when Yash is close to her or touches her. Aarti sat in front of the mirror talking to her "what will I do if Yash ji wants to consummate our wedding tonight oh! God help me I will have to politely refused him I hope he will not feel offended" Then she heard a knock on her door "Yes come in" she said thinking it was her Shoba ma she was surprised when she saw Yash enter fully dressed in his wedding attire he looked so breath taking handsome "Yes Yash ji" she said in a low weak voice Yash sensed something was wrong "Aarti ji we are all waiting for you what is wrong you can tell me" Yas asked with concern in his eyes and voice. "Yash ji I am feeling a bit nervous there are so many guests and they keep referring to me as a widow who is lucky to have a Punar Vivah and your parents they have not accepted me what if we are making a mistake" she expounded Yash came to her bent down in front of her and said "Aarti ji we are getting married for the sake of our children they are happy together we have become friends am I wrong in thinking so?" "No you are correct I am just being stupid" she smiled back at him "Well then Mrs. Scindhia lets go and make this official " he stood up extended his hand to her she took it and they together walked to the mandap on the way there they were joined by her parents, Ansh and Mansi.
The guests whispered at how Yash was holding Aarti's hand and escorting her to the mandap. They were both smiling at the guests Yash's parents were not pleased about this public display of caring and affection. They entered the mandap and sat the rituals started G3 reminded the pundit that they needed to perform a ritual to ask blessing of their dead spouse Aarti was against this because Prashant is alive she may not be his wife anymore and he has moved on and away from her but he is still Ansh biological father, her love for him was slowly dying he is her past Yash is her present and future. But this did not feel right she looked at Yash he understood how she felt and he give her an encouraging smile and whispered go ahead it Okay. Dubey ji came and held her hand encouraging her to complete the ritual. The rest of the wedding passed well her parents did her kanyadan they were so proud. Ansh wanted to sit with his parents but G3 intervened and Pankaj held him in his arm for the entire proceeding Vidhi tied the knot for the couple they took their vows around the fire holding hands with their relatives showering them with rose petals. Then came the time to apply the sindhoor and mangalasuthra Yash smiled at Aarti while doing this giving her the reassurance she needed that all will be well she smiled back at him nervously. The two couples went and took blessing from the elders.
Then it was time for dinner and a reception with performance by dancers and singers for the enjoyment by the guests Vidhi on command from G3 took the brides into a specially decorated room and there were performance by Paridhi's girlfriends and Mansi to the latest Bollywood hits. Aarti felt embarrassed by some of the suggestive dances. The ladies laughed and spoke freely about how the ladies should please their husbands what they should wear to entice their man and keep him interested in only their wife's bed. Aarti became more embarrassed as time passed and the conversation grew hotter and hotter.
In the meantime Yash was enjoying the entertainment with his family and guests Ansh was sitting on his papa while the girls were with cousins Vedika and Vedant they wanted to dance too. Maya rolled her eyes and said "MBKK look Bhabhi at that Yash is holding that brat like he is the most precious thing in the world he never show any attention and love to our girls like that. Bahabhi listen the way he behaved today holding that woman's hand and smiling at her people will think wrong that they were having a shame full affair since long time and the boy could be his MBKK our family's reputation is ruined." Maya was determined one way or the other to make sure G3 continued to hate Aarti and Ansh. Even Aripta's parents were angry watching the love between Yash and Ansh how the father took his son in his arms and danced with him how the girls joined their papa and bhayia and danced, how Ansh hugged his sisters and made them sit on either side of him he shared his snacks and drink with them. Ansh is a big brother and he took that role very seriously making sure his sisters were not too far away from him and their papa
The time arrived for the Vidaai ceremony it was very emotional for Aarti, Shoba and Dubey ji Yash is a good man both Aarti, and Ansh will be safe with him but the elders that was the question how will they treat Aarti and Ansh none wanted to say good bye but they will see each other soon, but Paridhi and her family were all smiles. The rice throwing completed and they entered the car Ansh went with his parents the girls went with their cousin Vedika and Maya dadi bua.
At the Scindhia Mansion the elders and Vidhi Pankaj arrived first to arrange the welcoming of the new bahus as usual G3 commanded Vidhi who followed her saas orders when AarYa and Ansh arrived the little man wanted to pee and started to complain much to G3's irritation Vidhi volunteered to take him to the washroom but mean G3 said no you have work to do so Pankaj took Ansh inside he had already formed a bond with the naughty fellow. When he returned he wanted to sleep so Aarti lift him in her arms again to G3's annoyance G3 commanded Aarti to put the boy down and perform the rituals Yash took a sleepy Ansh into his arms and nodded for Aarti to go ahead. G3 told Aarti to place her hands in the red coloured liquid and place her hand print over Arpita's as he now have taken her place and her name Yash was angry but he did not want to cause a scene Aarti looked at her husband realized he was angry she hesitated while G3 repeated her order Vidhi was worried because her devar was angry and Aarti looked like she was not going to follow any order. G3 turned to speak to some relative who made a not to nice comment and Aarti placed her hand print at the side of Aripta's hand printmaking her own mark into the house Yash smiled brightly at his wife and nodded his support G3 was angry when she saw what Aarti did and Yash supporting her he give her back their son. SP gestured to G3 to keep quiet, Paridhi did her part, then it was time for the Aarti and for the kicking of the lota with rice Aarti did hers with Ansh in her arms both she and Yash entered holding Ansh in their arms while Paridhi kicked the lota as if the thing was a football barely missing hitting G3 in the abdomen everyone laughed Paridhi apologised then she entered.
The comments and laughter continued much to G3's annoyance and Maya's amusement "You see that G3 got some headstrong bahus not following orders poor her one entered with her son in her arms and Yash holding on to the both of them smiling, and the other thinks she is a football player and laughing at our traditions."
The post wedding rituals continued much to the annoyance of Yash he knew that his Aarti and Ansh were tired and he wanted them settled in especially Ansh with his sisters in their room they kids were tired they had so much excitement for the day. G3 and the relatives insisted on all these meaning less games to find out if the bahus will be quite or quarrelsome with the family or who will rule. Aarti did her part quietly and with care she looked so beautiful and elegant Yash thought he admired her patients and understanding that this was tradition; and how she accepted the fact that all wanted to see what her reaction will be to this new environment and family.
Paridhi was just too excited and wanted to win at everything and Prateek just gave in to his love they had to pick up the seven sliver plate and stack them carrying them quietly while their husbands pushed them around. Then place their hands in the milky water to find the ring. Well AarYa both found the ring together and laughed they had a mini fight with their eyes as to who will claim victory Yash wanted Aarti to win but aarti knew it meant a lot for Yash to win to please his mother then Ansh wanted to play G3 scold him saying this is not for children but her mother intervened and said allow the boy she then call and Whispered to Palak go sit on Yash's lap and find the ring when you do distract Ansh attention but as it happened Ansh found the ring first and claimed victory much to G3 annoyance the relatives laugh and said" Gaytri both your sons are goners they will be hen pecked husbands" again to G3's annoyance.
The female relatives danced to various Bollywood hits Vidhi also danced along with them some of the men joined in. Yash was tired and fed up he kept looking at Aarti who looked tired trying to hide her yawns Ansh wanted to sleep so Aarti held him in her lap then Vidhi announced another ritual the couples had to remove the strings from their spouses wrist Aarti had difficulty because she was holding a sleeping Ansh G3 angrily said Vidhi to take the boy for Aarti to complete the rituals Aarti removed the string from Yash's wrist then Yash removed her Paridhi did Prateeks but Prateek wanted to linger longer at his task until Vidhi made a comment embarrassing the young couple.
Vidhi announced the last ritual "Finally" said Yash "Bhabhi Ansh needs to sleep the girls are in the room asleep and my poor boy is out here suffering" Yash calm down I will put him to sleep said Pankaj lifting Ansh in his arms. "Just the last one bhayia" said Vidhi "The husbands have to lift their wife and carry her to their room" she said with teasing smile. Yash scooped Aarti in his arms and waited Pankaj knew what his brother wanted G3 was confused what is Yash doing now "Yash beta take Aripta bahu to your room" she said sternly "Ma my wife's name is Aarti I will carry her to our room after Pankaj bhayia put Ansh safely into his room to sleep." Pankaj smiled to himself and carried Ansh to his new room with his sisters with Yash carrying Aarti in his arms closely following. G3 was pissed especially when the ladies give her sympathy looks. Aarya entered their room it was beautifully decorated just like in the show. Yash placed her gently down the relatives shouted close the door. Aarti looked at the bed with all the rose petals and flowers around the bed and furniture the lighted candles everything looked so beautiful and romantic and she started feeling nervous again remembering Mansi words to her. Yash said "Aarti make yourself at home Your luggage are here and the washroom is through there" then they heard music romantic suggestive songs much to their embarrassment but where was it coming from not from the music system in the room, while both went to the bed looking for the player or iPod a shower of rose petals fell on them then they both noticed the tray on the side table with the sexy neglige and box of condoms curious Yash took up the neglige they both looked at the sexy sheer lacy piece of pink cloth and felt embarrass Yash said "Aarti it was not my idea I am as surprise as you" Aarti turned away in embarrassment and her dupatta stuck on Yash sleeve button, "Yash what are you doing" asked Aarti he did not answer she got more nervous "JI Let me go " still no response so she turned around and found Yash had the dupatta and his sleeve in his mouth he looked funny and embarrassed at being caught like a little boy with his hand in the cookie jar, he show her the problem just like a little boy Aarti removed the dupatta and he smile at her like a young boy happy mama solved his problem. "thank you" he said
Aarti replied "You are welcome" while turning back to get to her luggage she tripped on the rug going forward but the quick action of Yash stopped her from falling face down one hand was around her waist the other higher up on her breast he steadied her on her feet both felt self conscious by their closeness both felt the electric current pass through their body and the sensation of oneness belonging to each other finally finding your missing piece of yourself "Aarti are you Okay?" Yash asked "Ji I am Okay "she said in a hoarse voice when she tried to move away her mangalasuthra was stuck to his goal chain around his neck She was jerked back on his hard muscular chest "Oh God Now What" said Aarti "Careful Aarti let me untangle this I think god is trying to tell us something" said Yash Aarti replied "Yeah be more careful" she laughed Yash loved her laugh and her smell so he took his time to separate the chains. To himself he said god what is happening to me. Aarti loved the feel of being close to Yash it felt right so she did not mind that he seems to be taking too long to separate the chains. The music kept on playing in the back ground. "Finally now you can go use the shower first Aarti" smiled Yash. Aarti had her shower she was so tired and all this make up she wanted it out of her face, she wore a light pink saree her hair open she came out found Yash waiting to go and have his shower while drying her hair she looked around the room and saw the covered photos she did not touch or venture close that was Yash's domain Yash saw her looking at something he came and removed the covers and decorations "Aarti this is Aripta my first wife" he said he turned the lights on and she saw that the walls were filled with Yash and Arpita's pictures "Aripta decorated this room and after she died they became my companion, my confident, my best friend, the girls when they come into this room they feel like their mother is with them I feel like we are still a family like she is here with me giving me courage to go on. Aarti if you feel uncomfortable with these pictures we will remove them" he said "Ji no it is not a problem to me we both understand why we got married and have no expectations from each other so it okay by me" she explained smiling at him conveying to him that she understands his situation. "The bed you can sleep there I use the couch" he said "Are you crazy that couch is small for you I sleep there or we can share the bed with a pillow wall" replied Aarti "you are correct why be uncomfortable we are mature adults we can share the bed we don't love each other and we are not bounded by tradition just that Aarti this is my side of the bed " Yash replied they both went to sit on the bed and heard the loud crunching sound "OH god what did these people do " said Yash then they heard the voices of women laughing outside then shouting "Good night love birds" Aarti had a bright smile and then started to chuckle softly "Oh you too think that this is funny " said Yash and hit her with a pillow a surprise Aarti hit him back with a pillow and so started a game of pillow fight like two little kids pillow sheets flowers all were missile in this game of laughter finally when no more flowers could be used they collapsed on the bear bed laughing silly like kids both could not remember when they had so much fun. This was their wedding night and they were behaving like children. They fell asleep right there in the middle of the mess to tired and happy to care.
