After a few minutes of deadly silence, and glaring from G3 towards the Dubeys she had a look of victory in her eyes so did Aripta's mother they were certain that this wedding will be called off, and SP will be able as in the past to convince Yash to see things through their eyes.
SP said to all present "The weddings will take place as planned, and the Dubeys will perform the Kanyadaan for their daughter, also we will not change Aarti's name. It was very wrong of us to try and impose our will on you all. The times has change and so must I my sons are grown men with their own family it is time I accept that and allow them to life their lives."
"Aarti bahu I will apologise for myself I did not realize the extent of the love that Dubeys have for you, and you for them, nor did I know that you are a professional woman a qualified lawyer, and accouant. I do not allow my bahus to work outside the house this is a tradition my family has all women must remain at home doing the house work, the men are the breadwinners, but I will make an exception for you. Pankaj is also a lawyer you can work with him part time from home, and can continue to help your parents part time from SM with their Accounts. Remember bahu you will work from the SM, and only part time when the children are at school. Do I make myself clear?"

Pankaj came forward and hugged his father " Bauji I will make sure that no one embarrasses you, and our family all we want is to make you proud of us and Aarti bahu will help Vidhi with the house hold chores and take care of the children, Yash and I will make sure that the children are not neglected. " he continued looking at Aarti " Aarti I also accept Ansh as my son not only as my nephew he is so naughty I am reminded of both Yash, and Prateek when they were boy, it is not so bauji?" Sp smiled he loved the little boy but he also wanted to keep the peace with G3 after all she is his wife and he needs to show some support for her feelings but this time he will stand firm and accept Ansh as his legal grandson. "Yes Pankaj beta just like you three were Verdant is a calm boy compared to you naughty, mischievous boys."
G3 was totally pissed the situation had gotten out of her hands SP pulled the rug from under her feet the plans she and Aripta's mother had to show that wretched woman her place failed; no one will take Aripta's place in Yash's life, his daughters life or in the Scindhia family. All Yash needs is a woman legally to provide to his sexual needs and if a child is born so what Palak, and Payal are his heirs now the young fool made that outsider boy another man son his heir. This will never happen once I am alive G3 and Aripta's mother had the same thought.
The Dubeys went to their room "Shoba thank god Yash spoke out his feelings to his father and then Pankaj agreed otherwise what kind of a life our children would of have there in that house Yash with G3 ji" said Dubey ji Shoba answered " Ji but did you see the expression on G3 ji face she is determine to make life difficult for Aarti and Ansh . I don't trust her she is old school where the saas rule with an iron fist both her sons and bahus, and that woman Aripta's mother what is her problem can't she accept change her young daughter is died in an accident no one expected that, yes I agree that is a traumatic experience especially since two young children are involved , her life ended when her married life just begun but Yash is young and very much alive why do they want him to cling to the past and not move on to a happy life. This is his chance to live and enjoy life to provide a stable environment for his daughters to give them the mother's love they need. Why are these two women so selfish? Then they call themselves mothers."
Aarti went in search of Ansh the naughty boy was busy playing with his sisters when they saw her they ran and shouted "Mama!! " all three ran to her for hug, and kissy "Mama look do you like these decorations ?" asked Palak "Yes my pet they are beautiful" answered Aarti "Mama Papa help with the design so did chachu but mostly papa did all the work ? said a proud Palak "Ji he did well your papa have very good taste these flowers are beautiful like my girls" and she kissed them on their head "And me am I not handsome mama "said Ansh crossing his hands on his chest pouting his lips "My Ansh is very handsome" replied Aarti "Just like Yash Papa right mama " said naughty boy Aarti took some seconds before answering while the three kids looked at her expecting a reply "Yes my raja beta Just like your Yash papa" she replied with a smile.
"Aarti bahu what are you doing there go get ready for the mehndi ceremony" shouted G3 she was heard by one of her close relatives "You have to show these modern girl who is boss in the family that they must obey their saas my house my rules" she guffaw her relative agreed with her The relative said" I have never witnessed a widow getting a punar vivah things are different here in the cities this would never happen in the village. This girl should be grateful to you for allowing your son to marry her and accept her son in your family you are great G3 I would never allow this in my family" The relative who compared Aarti's looks with Aripta's at the Pooja came and joined the conversation " I agree Bhabhi that would never happen in my house another man's child were are forced to accept as our own and spend our money on him never You are truly great G3 and this girl looks like she is a slow person with limited education and she is so dark compared to Aripta I guess that does not matter as it is Yash second marriage and you need someone to take care of his Daughters and provide to his needs." ViDhi heard and she was angry because Aarti was not saying anything so she got brave and decided to enlightened the nosey ladies "Excuse me Aunties Aarti is an accomplished Lawyer and is adept with business matters any of your daughters or bahu can claim their education or accomplishments anything close to my davrani. Come Aarti lets go and get ready for the mehndi ceremony." She took Aarti's hand and leading her away called for the children to follow them to Aarti's room.

The sasuma is the queen of her house and you must respect, and obey her orders even if it is ridiculous never question her rule accept her punishment, they can command you to their liking and dictate how to raise your kids, you don't dare question them. Make sure you accompany them to the temple and offer prays with them this is what a good bahu does. I did all that for eighteen years I missed my mother love, mummyji never considered me as a daughter but Aripta was the apple of her eye she spoilt her and used her to manipulate Yash Aripta was no saint she was a woman with flaws like the rest of us but she learnt and became an expert at wrapping Yash around her fingers for her advantages; she was materialistic just like her mother they place more value on physical beauty, expensive clothes, and accessories. Their standing in society meant more than developing true meaningful relationships. G3 was mad as hell to be embarrassed like that by her eldest bahu in front of their relatives especially when they give a sympathetic looks, and smiled she excused herself to go behind her bahus to give them a much needed scolding when Paridhi's father came to her holding his wife's saree informing her that his wife wants to speak to her now concerning preparations for the remaining ceremonies. G3 self talk I just hope my Prateek don't turn out to be a hen pecked husband like his sasur my son already likes to cook and obey Paridhi's orders.
The mehndi ceremony was lavish as Paridhi is the only child for the Khannas while this was going on the guys decided that they will have their bachelor's party at the poolside in the resort. SP agreed for the party the plan was it will hopefully' last until early morning allowing the men enough free time to enjoy themselves. Initially Yash was not interested because his mood was off but his dear brothers convinced him to participate in the event of a life time. "Bhayia it will be fun all our male relatives and friends will be there how can you miss this, it is our last hooray as free men lets enjoy" said an enthusiastic Prateek. "Bauji give his consent and we have hired a few female dancers, come nah indulge your chote nah." Giving puppy eyes and a cutie little boy's pout.
During the mehndi ceremony while the ladies were having their fun Paradhi, and Mansi heard about the bachelor's party and being the modern thinking women that they are wanted to join and have fun with the men they planned to join as soon as this was over they passed along the message to Vidhi, and Aarti who were not into joining at all but the girls were persistence so they eventually give in
Shoba along with Mansi choose a simple yet elegant design for Aarti both hands, arms to her elbow, her feet, and calves had this design it took two mehndi artists to complete the patterns on time so she would not have to sit for too long.
Ansh, Palak, and Payal did the honour of feeding their mumma juice and snacks. Their Mansi mausi did cutie henna design on her cutie girls hand after they fed their mumma much to their delight. The babies showed off their hands to their uncles, and dadaji who appreciated them and said that they are big girls now. G3, and Aripta's mom did not approve of the fact that Aarti and Mansi have staked their claim on the girls. Maya had to rub salt in their open wounds "MBKK even the grand daughters you have lost."
At the bachelor's party the men were all dressed in western casual ware, there were lots of drinking and dancing even SP, and Dubey ji joined in on the fun Paridhi's dad convinced Aripta's dad to get away from his wife for a few hours that it will be good for his mental health and enjoy themselves with the boys.
The girls sneaked into Mansi's room and got dressed for the party They took Shoba's, and Paridhi's mother help to get down to the poolside away from the prying eyes of G3, Aripta's mother, Maya's and nosey relatives.
When they got there the security refused to allow them in but Paridhi used her brains and talked their way in. At the poolside the party was in full swing the brothers were dancing with the sexy dancers Yash looked uncomfortable but he danced to please his brothers. Pankaj, and Prateek had their drink in hand and they were swaying to the latest Bollywood hit. While Yash looked like he wanted to get as far away as possible from the sexy lady who was trying her best to get him to relax.
Aarti did not know if she should laugh or feel sorry for Yash, Mansi went towards the dancers and jumped in swaying to the beat. Paridhi went to Prateek grab hold of him and started to dance, Vidhi also went to Pankaj dragging Aarti to Yash. The brothers were shocked to see their ladies there so were the rest of the men and the dj stopped the music. Paridhi asked "Why did you stop the music we want to have fun too " Prateek said "you are ok with this." "Yeah why should you guys have all the fun we want to dance too" she replied. They looked at Vidhi "You here too>' said Yash " Excuse I am young too and I like to dance beside my pati is here." She answered holding on to Pankaj. Mansi said "well now that its settled let have fun"
One look at Aarti and Yash realized that she was not comfortable here just like him and like him was coerced into this by these naughty ladies. They just stood there like to lost souls looking around for a safe haven, after two songs Yash finally said "let just give it a try and dance Aarti ji, we might actually enjoy ourselves" "are you sure Yash ji we might end up making fools of ourselves" Aarti replied "Let me inform you Aarti ji I can dance with the right motivation and if you can't just watch me " Yash answered with a smile "So there will be no need for me to call the paramedics " she answered back audaciously Laughing at him as she begun to sway to the music Yash joined her and they moved making a strikingly eye catching couple on the dance floor.
After about ninety minutes with lots of dancing, laughing with water and virgin drinks replenishing their bodies the string holding Aarti skirt got stuck on Yash's ring just like in the show, and Yash had to rescue her and carry her inside to her room just like in the show.
"Thank you Yash ji for saving my dignity" said a grateful Aarti "No need for thanks Aarti ji you are my wife it is my honour and duty to do so" he smiled back "Have a good night, and thanks for an enjoyable evening" "thank you too for the evening I had fun honestly I did not expect to but you made enjoyable thank you" replied Aarti "Again with the thank you "he smiled continuing "Go inside an close the door so I can leave" "Bossy are we " Aarti replied smiling while closing the door.
Yash had a happy grin on his face humming a song they had danced too as he returned to his room he was a happy man after many years,
