Chapter !5
Yash made his way unseen to his room he was disappointed and it showed in his movements, he knew that his mother loved Aripta liked a daughter she give her freedom unlike Vidhi bhabhi who received her daily scolding; he did not appreciate the comparison between Aarti, and Aripta, Aarti is a simple girl with simple tastes, she is an educated business woman, who values relationships, a loving mother who has a heart of gold, she is tall, and beautiful like a Bollywood actress. Aripta was small and petite; she loved expensive clothes, makeup, and jewellery she had a degree in English lit. But her main interest was to keep a rich husband, and his family happy, Keeping up with society meant a lot to her just as it does to his mother Yash entered his room with a heavy heart he took out his shoes and lied down on his bed thinking about what he had just witness in the lounge.
Yash was shocked at the behaviour his mother displayed, he had never in his life heard her talk of someone this way, he knew she was not perfect but to be this mean about someone she knows very little about and his Ansh the innocent child was eager to live here with his new family. I also understand she loves Aripta but that is no excuse to bad talk Aarti, and Ansh. He smiled to himself as he reminisce about his time at the mall with his family Ansh behaved like a very proud, responsible big brother that role came naturally to him. Holy shit!! I forgot the girls outside!! Yes the security are present but they are small girls, he got up and ran downstairs but the girls were inside he heard their laughter as he was dashing to the main door.
Prateek saw the kids outside and he brought them in this was not new Yash was known for forgetting them in the garden and in the different rooms in the house reason being he was lost in his own world with Aripta. Prateek sent a silent pray to the heavens for Aarti bhabhi's love to heal his crazy, confused, disillusion, workaholic brother.
At the Dubey's the couple was happily arranging their gifts for the Scindhia family they had met all the demands put forward by G3; with Aarti's help their business is profitable, they received a rent from their house in Indore that helped with the upkeep of that house, and a share of the profits from their family's business in Indore, the expense for this Punar Vivah was high with all the items that G3 demanded but they did not mine because their pride, and joy their adopted daughter Aarti was having her Punar Vivah and Yash was a gentleman who whole heartily accepted both Aarti, and Ansh.
They heard the sound of a stopping car outside in their driveway, Shoba went to look Vidhi and the driver came out with the gifts, sweet and wedding invitation card. "Namaste auntie these are the gifts from our side for Aarti." Vidhi politely said " Namaste beta thanks come in for some refreshments " Shoba replied "Nahi auntie some other time there is still so much to be done since the wedding is in a few days and a double wedding is so much work." Expounded Vidhi "G3 ji is lucky to have a caring bahu as you to take most of the responsibilities from her." Shoba remarked smilying proudly at Vidhi she continued "My Aarti will have a good friend and older sister in you beta" Vidhi remembered and said "Auntie I saw her at the mall today both she and Ansh were with Yash and his daughters they looked like the cute perfect family" "Really beta may god bless them with all the happiness >' said an emotional Shoba "Namaste auntie I must return now" responded Vidhi and took her leave
Shoba and Dubeyji took the invitation card they were shocked at the date of the wedding April 4th that is the wedding anniversary of Prashant and Aarti they were worried about of Aarti's reaction to this news, while they were pondering another came into their driveway the uniformed driver came out and greeted the confused couple " Namaste uncle, auntie I am Yash Scindhia's driver he sent these gifts for you all" he returned to the car opened the back door and proceed to remove many gift wrapped packages of different sizes the Dubeys were shocked as on cue they received a call from Yash informing about the gifts and his reason pf buying Shoba understood his reasons and thanked him both Shoba and Dubeyji were pleased with the care and concern their future damaad displayed for his new family.
Aarti and Ansh came home after an enjoyable day he had so much fun at the mall, and movies with his papa, sisters, and mamma. The little boy was excited to share he was happy but tired after the mall he had his mamma accompany him to the park to celebrate the birthday of his best buddy with some of their school friends. Ansh ran inside calling out to them "Badi ma. Badi papa I am home!!" " "Hello my baby we hear you." Answered Shoba with a big smile and hug for her grandson dubeyji came and lifted him into his arms giving kissy Ansh noticed the presents and excitedly said, " Wow! So many Presents!! What are those presents about? Who brought them and why???" "Ansh stop you twenty questions" said Aarti entering the living room lifting her brows looking at her parents "They are from Yash, and his family" Shoba answered she give the card to Aarti "Your Punar Vivah is fixed for this day beta."
Aarti took the card looked at the date and ran from there to her room, she started to cry as memories came flooding back all the dreams, and hope she had for her life with Prashant, the dream of a loving family with husband, kids, and her parents/ in laws that she nurtured from childhood, all gone replaced by the reality that she was not good enough to be his wife, Prashant never loved her yet her foolish heart still hope that he would return one day and claim them back as his family only to give Ansh the father he wanted, and give her and his parents the support they needed.
Aarti wanted closure from this relationship she wanted answers from Prashant why did he do this to her to and her innocent Ansh. Did she not do everything the elder ladies in her husband's family advised to be a perfect wife she offered him her body, and he refused only to commit that heinous act with her when she was unconscious after one of his brutal beatings, yet she did not complain because good wives don't go against their husband, and he has the right to her body even in a drunkard rage.
Aarti sank to the floor crying and shaking her entire body holding the wedding invitation card of hers, and Prashant's wedding all those years ago she wept for the young foolish girl that she was. This is how Shoba ma found her she sat next to Aarti and held her allowing her to cry her heart out, then they will speak Aarti needed to grieve for her lost his innocence to her monster of a son Prashant.
When she stopped shaking Shoba moved Aarti slightly to look into her eyes and speak "Beta are you better now? Here let me wipe your tears I am here to listen when you are ready to talk." Aarti was silent for some more minutes when Shoba was about to give up on any response from her she spoke "Ma am I doing the right thing by marrying Yashji? Ansh wants, and need a father but Prashant is still alive what if he comes back and wants his son? What will I do then?" Shoba's response "Beta he is never coming back he has legally disowned Ansh you are a lawyer you understood this when he forced you to sign the divorce papers he has no legal claim on Ansh, why do you keep thinking of him let him go in peace he has moved on without both you and Ansh now it is your turn. Beta with Yashji both you and your son have a chance for real happiness. Why are you wasting time thinking of my looser of a son who you had the misfortune to meet and marry all those years ago. I wished you had met Yashji instead your life would have been so full of joy." Aarti said "Had that happened then we would not of have my naughty raja beta, we would of never met, and I would not of known the love of my parents. Ma you told me this many times god moves in mysterious ways maybe this too was his plan for me." She give a weak smile. The phone rang Dubeyji and Ansh were outside so it kept ringing Shoba went downstairs to answer it sounded like it was important because the person kept calling. " Hello This is Shoba Dubey speaking who is this?" silence then she heard "Ma how are you? How is Bauji?" Prashant was the caller "What do you want from us?" Shoba asked "Nothing can I not enquire about your wellbeing? I am your only child after all." Was his response " We have no son only one daughter and she is finally going to get her happy ever after with a kind loving man so please don't waste your and my time by calling here again" with that she placed the phone down Dubey ji took the receiver and said to his son "Hello Prashant You heard what Shoba said goodbye." "Bauji don't hang up please it has been so long talk to me I want to meet you." Prashant begged " Did you not hear what Shoba said we are planning for our daughter's wedding , goodbye" and he disconnected the call.
Aarti was standing at the top of the stairs she asked "Did he ask about Ansh or me?" the look her parents give too each other and then her spoke volumes Prashant was not interested in her or her son.
Chapter 16
The morning arrived this was her last few hours in this house she did her normal routine but when she went to give her parents their meds all three started to cry " Aarti beta it is okay hurry up I will get the meds, we have been spoilt by you for six years now we have to adjust " said Shoba "Ma I will miss you all so much why do I have to go and leave you we can cancel the wedding " Aarti started frantically "Beta what are you saying we can't do that everything has been fixed the Scindhias will be humiliated and us think about us , little Ansh he is so excited to finally get a father don't deprive him." Said Dubeyji "Bauji I am frightened what if they don't accept my Ansh what if I don't meet their standards they are so wealthy what if the girls decide that they don't need me or they refuse to accept me" Aarti expounded. Shoba hugged her daughter and replied "Why won't they accept you beta you are so loving, and kind I know my beta will be the best mother to those little girls just as you are to Ansh. So come forget all that lets go the car will arrive any minute."
Mansi arrived and started her teasing of Aarti and her nonsense talk about the wedding night. The car arrived and they made their way to the resort.
At the venue Yash settled in his room the brothers teased Prateek because of the pampering he was doing to himself pedicure, manicure, facial, chest waxing etc. Prateek invited Yash to join him telling that Aarti will appreciate it considering the style of their wedding outfits. Yash was not interested but the persistent Prateek would not stop in the end all three brothers got the full spa treatment.
Aarti arrived at the venue they were greeted by G3 and Family Maya comment "Only one car with five people where are the rest??" G3 asked "Shoba ji what is this where are your relatives if your relatives object for the punar vivah of Aarti, then her family should be here. " "G3 ji Aarti is an orphan we are her family and our family lives far away they could not make it at this short notice." Answered Shoba. "Well we are going to lost all the money we spent for the extra room." Said G3 to Shoba . SP give his wife a warning look to shut up.
Paradhi and her family arrived with a large group of relatives, and friends, together with a musical band. They were in a celebrating mode G3 did not approve of Paridhi dancing in public nor did she like the public display of affection by her parents.
G3 and Vidhi did the welcoming arti for the would be bahus someone asked Maya why she did not do the arti she explained " I am a widow so I will not take part in any rituals." G3 ordered Vidhi to take the brides to be inside to get ready for the Ganesh pooja. Ansh was so excited to go inside to meet his sisters that he bumped into G3 she was not pleased at his behaviour, the innocent boy apologised and touched her feet she begrudgingly give him blessing. SP laughed at the eagerness of his grandson, told G3 that he is a child leave him.
When they went inside the venue Ansh begun playing with his mom he ran and Aarti followed, Vidhi and Paridhi misunderstood Aarti frantically turning around looking for someone she was trying to find her naughty son and they thought she was looking for Yash "Aarti bhabhi Yash bhayia is getting ready for the pooja you will see him soon" said Paridhi, Vidhi replied "AH so sweet she is missing him your wait won't be long Aarti you will meet Yash bhai soon " both ladies were laughing,and continued their teasing of poor Aarti who finally noticed her naughty monkey on the top floor entering a room she quickly followed. Aarti entered the room only to be locked in by the cheeky monkey, she heard the bolting of the door from the outside tried to leave this is when she noticed men's clothing hanging on a rack close to the door, she turned around and saw more clothes neatly lying on the bed, this made Aarti more determine to go outside she called for someone to open the door.Yash was in the washroom he heard the commotion and went to investigate he saw Aarti " Aartiji you here in my room??" he asked "Yashji I am so sorry but by naughty Ansh was playing with me he tricked me into entering this room and locked the door from outside" she said embarrassed and nervous, Yash was only in a towel wrapped around his waist, and his sexy gorgeous upper body was visible, so were his bare legs, the towel looked like it was in danger of falling down, he looked like he had just completed his shower. Yash came towards her and poor Aarti tried to move away from his sexy lemon scented presence as he knocked on the door Yash felt her discomfort and smiled to himself he also noticed her she looked cute dressed in her simple salwar suit with hardly any makeup on, no excessive jewellery he like her this way too bad his mother will make her wear all that mess after marriage but he will have his way yes this time Yash Scindhia will have his way.
"Hello anyone out there could you please open the door it is bolted from outside" said Aarti Yash knocked on the door a few times and said "Anyone out there open the door" then the door was opened by a naughty teasing Prateek who heard both Aarya voices he started his teasing of them locked in the room for some private time to which earned him a serious glare from Yash, and Aarti ran from there naughty Ansh was standing behind his chote chachu smiling enjoying the fun his mom took his hand and went towards their room scolding him for his bad behaviour.
In the dressing room Vidhi was helping her sisters in law with their makeup Aarti said "Enough bahabi I don't wear so much make up please stop " Vidhi responded "Aarti you look so beautiful with makeup even on your engagement you wore less please let me put on some blush Yash bhai will love it and mummyji wants her bahus to always look their best Aripta used to wear lots of makeup and jewellery Yash used to spoil her with those gifts he loved seeing her dress up for him." Aarti replied "But this is me I cannot change my personality for anybody I don't want to compete with Aripta I just want to be me Aarti" Paridhi agreed with Aarti why should she change after marriage Prateek promised her that she can continue working after marriage she most certainly did not want to be a house wife staying home all day. G3 overheard her bahus conversation and did not like Aarti's attitude she thought Aarti was influencing Paridhi, and she planned to deal severely with Aarti after all the post wedding rituals.
Shoba came into the room she wanted to speak to Aarti so Vidhi took Paridhi to the area where the pooja was being held. Shoba said with tears of joy in her eues "My Aarti is looking so beautiful may no one cast an evil eye on you " she took kajal from her eye and placed it on the back of Aarti's left ear giving her a quick hug and reassuring her that she made the correct decision.
Everyone was gathered for the pooja Yash was sitting wondering where is Aarti what is taking so long? Paridhi is already her, where could she be? He was feeling a strange sought of excitement to see her, and have her close to him. His parents as usual misunderstood his fidgeting as impatience. The female relatives who were with G3 they were commenting about Paridhi's behaviour with Prateek if the girl has no shame, and the lateness of Aarti, "Vidhi bahu where is Aarti bahu you were supposed to bring her here on time you know how much Yash hates tardiness " said G3 in a strict tone that makes Vidhi tremble out of fear. As the frightened Vidhi was about to answer Aarti came with Shoba, Dubeyji, and Ansh, the comments continued throughout the pooja about how much fairer, and prettier, Aripta was, she was always smiling and anxious to perform the rituals, how Aarti is slow is big as she is tall, fat and frumpy. { no way is she fat just her body matches her height, and Aarti is a natural beauty } Is what Yash thought I will deal with these meddling ladies at the right time.
The pooja continued and Aarti did them slowly hesitating at first out of shyness because of the effect Yash was having on her, every time they touched she felt a current passing never had she felt these sensations before even with Prashant and she loved him. Yash was also experiencing the similar feelings and he compared it to Aripta she never made him feel anything close to this, these feelings were a new experience and he liked it a lot. In trying to keep a straight face Yash appeared as if he was bothered by this entire ritual and wished he was somewhere else, Aarti appeared serious and lost in her own world everyone thought that she was not interested in Yash, and the comments continued that she will be a strict mother to the girls, etc. Ansh wanted to be a part of the pooja so the innocent boy sat between AarYa the girls came and sat by Yash G3 being her nasty self said "Ansh leave from here and go outside this is no place for children" to which her replied "Auntie Palak, and Payal are here too why are you not scolding them and sending them outside??" Before any could respond SP said "G3 Ansh is correct why are you scolding him all three should go and play not only Ansh children go and play quietly over there "
G3 did not appreciate being publicly humiliated by her husband over that boy. That child is not welcome in my house she thought fuming to herself, she tried to cover her embarrassment by saying SP is a kind man who feels sorry for the fatherless boy. Little did she realise Yash was becoming more and more disappointed by her behaviour towards his Aarti, and Ansh.
When the pooja was over Yash took AArti aside he apologised for the behaviour of his mother and relatives, Aarti told his don't stress about it that it is expected because she will be his second wife, and she was married before, she told don't take this minor matters to heart. Yash was so amazed by her level of understanding he felt a urge to hug and kiss her he quickly got a hold of himself gesturing with his hands "No Aartiji that is very wrong of them to speak about you and Ansh like that" G3 noticed them together and she was of the opinion that Yash was scolding Aarti for both Ansh and her behaviour.
Aarti noticed the gifts on displayed they were from Paridhi's and her family she recognized some of her Shoba ma jewellery, she confronted her ma "Why ma? Why you give away your jewellery for my wedding?" "Aarti you are my daughter don't feel bad we don't want the Scindhias to think any less of you" Shoba said "But ma bauji brought some of them for you and some are from your parents" said Aarti "I am giving them to my daughter the Scindhias will give them to you to wear on special occasions trust me" said an emotional Shoba she continued "Aarti beta you are the daughter I always wanted, this is what makes me happy allow me to do this for you beta" "But the expense ma the gifts and money they demanded how could you afford it. Ma that is the money for your retirement how could bauji and you do that no ma that is wrong to go through with this expense."
"Aarti don't fuss we want to do this you are our daughter let us pamper you for your wedding" said Dubeyji he noticed his family having a serious conversation so he came over to find out what was the problem between his two favourite ladies.
They heard G3 boasting that the families tried their best to meet their standards, especially the Dubeys who are middle class, and it is their bahu's wedding they must really want to be rid of that responsibility. Anyhow we want a mother for our granddaughters so they will not feel left out when their friends speak of their parents, she will be paid for her services after all we are allowing her son to live with us but only after she bonds with my granddaughters. I want no distractions from my daughters care.
Yash also heard his mother's boasting and felt disgusted by it, he went to his mother and asked to speak to her privately "Ma what nonsense are you saying Ansh is my son and he will live with us, Aarti is a kind loving woman and you have no right to speak about her in that manner." Sp heard yash also Pankaj "Yash how dare you speak to ma in that manner have you forgotten your manners" demanded Pankaj "Did you hear what she said about my wife and son? How she don't want Ansh with us?" said an angry Yash "She is our mother and you are suppose to respect her." Said Pankaj " Not when she is publicly disrespecting my wife ,son , and my in laws what gives her the right to speak about them like that, they also have feelings and so what if they are middle class they have more class than many so call upper class people!" SP said "G3 I warned you before about your tongue and who told you my grandson Ansh is not welcome in my home?" SP was angry at G3 he did not want anything to go wrong with Yash punar vivah, he genuinely liked Aarti, and Ansh the littler boy will bring back life into the SM with his antics; he noticed how Yash and Ansh bonded in these last few hours.
Maya ji who heard the conversation said that woman is already controlling Yash MBKK G3 has lost her son.

Yash getting lost in Aarti more and more and not even realising that he was not dreaming of Arpita! he even places Aarti above Arpita! and he ensured to send better gifts for his future family after finding out his Ma and Bua's intentions. it's good he already questions his Ma's character... as for Aarti I understand her attachment to that sicko but she should get a grip already! destiny was not all bad, the tragedy brought her her greatest blessings, Ansh and her parents 😊 I like that even Satyendra is against Prashant, I really hated him in the show after Prashant made his appearance, forgetting everything Aarti did for him unlike his selfish son!
