ONE PERFECT GIFT
An awkward moment when whole family leave two unknown person alone to talk.. they have good intentions, the family want the two people to know about each other so that they can take a decision. But this good intension bring a stressful moment, where difficult to decide what to talk and what not? If some unexpected thing come from mouth then what will be the reaction, specially how will be the impression? But whatever have to talk, as have to say the decision to family members also.. and most of the time the man among the two starts talking, here also happened the same..
Yash: I know some things about you.. you can ask me whatever you want..
Aarti nodded in no, "I have nothing to ask..
This is not so new or shocking.. girls become so much nervous in this kind of situation.. first meeting with a unknown person, knowing the reason of the meeting. So even if she want to ask anything cant just because of nervousness and tension.. yash also felt the same reason of her silence, " you really don't want to know? I think like me you also have some idea about me, but still if you want then... you can ask without any tension.."
Again answer was no.. silence of sometime..
Yash: I had a girlfriend.. and we had a long time relationship.. but that didn't lasted.. and for some reason we separated our way.. may be we both were not so mature then, that's why couldn't handle.. now I don't know much about her, but she is happily married and truly I am also happy, looking forward new life...
First time he looked at him directly and he was aware of it.. there was a surprise in her look, he smiled and continued, "I hope this didn't create bad impression about me... I liked you... And from my side yes for this relation,, I said all this to you reason is simple, I really liked you and want to be clear about everything from the first..
He still didn't get any reply expect her look, "looking like I am only chatter box here.. you don't worry, you can take your time and let us know the decision later. I wont say about my decision now to anyone so that you wont feel any pressure from any side... I think we should leave from here now.."
And now she speak up, " please sit some more time here"
If there wouldn't be a please then also yash will sit there happily as she said and the first time she said something which is not answer of his questions only.. he waited to listen something more and she said, "thank you for sharing your things.." there was hesitation in her voice, "someone in my life also.. and I loved him so much.. but about 1 and half year ago I broke the relation". She stopped, perhaps waiting to get some question..
Yash: and...? Don't hesitate, you can say..
Aarti: I am still afraid to go ahead.. one type of confusion... What if he'll come back?
Yash: hmm, so you still have hope that he'll be back? You still love him right?
"no, I don't love him now.." she said sharp," at least I think so.."
Yash become confused now, "I am sorry, but I cant understand what you want to say? If you don't love him then what is the hesitation? Did you said him that you'll wait or he asked you to wait?"
Aarti: no, not like that... I said if he can accept me and my words from heart and honest then only he can think about returning.. he never wanted to give me commitment.. was never ready to marry me but still I kept hope that may be one day his mind will change but nothing changed.. for him that was a time pass, I couldn't be there more like that so I decided to step back.. but now I feared if he'll be back then will I able to do justice with other relations and situations..?"
Yash took a deep breath, "hmm.. I can understand, but people should think about present more than past and future.. ohk, I don't have right to say more things but as you said this many things to me so I want to ask, what you now? Want me to totally deny for this relation..?"
Aarti become exited to listen this, "no please... You said me about your life because you liked me, and I said because..." She bit her lip, couldn't say the real thing.., "I wanted to move in life.. when all that happen from then I didn't get reason to move, to forget all that.."
Yash smiled, "so you want me to be the reason of that?"
Aarti looked down, "I don't know other things, I am agree or not "but I don't want you to suffer or affect for me.."
"hmm, so right now you are not ready for this marriage", yash didn't ask her, he just said.. this surprised her, how he understand her wish? But she didn't asked..
Yash just understand she also liked him and at this time what she want that's why he said the families that he want to meet her more as this is life long matter, he cant take decision like this all of sudden.. he just take permission from everyone about it and everyone happily accepted by thinking that the main two person already agreed for this relation just want some more time to spend alone that's why giving excuses..
Two months passed.. as they said to family they meet with each other alone.. aarti don't know what will be next but she loved how yash handled the situation, no one doubted that it was aarti who wanted more time.. still yash didn't get her answer.. what she want or she is out of her turmoil or not.. and that day come for which she waited, better to say she afraid..
Aarti was doing her daily work when her phone rang. unknown number.. She could guess whose number this was save once.. she thought for a moment then take the call
From the other side: aarti.. how are you?
"fine", she couldn't say anything else, or ask.. she didn't want to..
Caller: I want to meet you aarti..
"why" she asked firm this time..
Other side was silent, then she listen him to say, "you remember, you said, if I want to accept you from heart honestly then I can return?, so today I am here for you..."
Aarti felt a pang in her heart and he eyes wet not for what he said, for that which she couldn't understand till now and she felt a immense happiness inside her, "so?? Did I said I'll wait for you? I am not just a thing of your use only... and thanx for calling, thank you so much you called.. for this only I realized something that I am belongs to someone else.. and yeah, hope I wont need to thanks you again.. better to say direct, don't call me again." She cut the call immediately without giving him a chance..
The next thing she did was dilled another number which is saved in her favorite list, "yash, I want to meet you.. now.. can you meet me please?"
Yash: sure, by the way I also was thinking to ask you to meet..
They just decided to meet some place and this time also aarti end the call asap as she need to do something so important..
After few hour, at the decided place...
"aarti, you know today is friendship day, all the school and collage goings are so exited.. so I thought to take something for you, as a friend", he gave her the gift..
Aarti take the gift said, "thanx" and keep that in her bag..
Yash: wont you open that?
"I'll, but now more important thing to do," she also handed him a small gift, "a small gift for you, from me, but not as a friend.."
Yash didn't wait to open that as that is a small box, "Ring?"..
Aarti: you know nay ash, usually boys do it for proposing girls.. for proposal, gift is a perfect thing to say, what in heart.."
Yash looked at her with surprise.. he had to smile, as he couldn't stop himself from doing that but he kept quite, wondering what more she will say and how??
Aarti continued, "you know yash, I never had enough of your time, your company and words.. I was never satisfied with our meetings. I always wanted more, and yeah its not possible if we are in different place.. right?
Yash now come closer to her and held her both hands, "so what you want now?"
Aarti looked at him, "you always want to know what I want and do things as my wished, its not important to happen that thing which I want, but yeah this time its important.. my ring says it all but if still if you want to know then I am saying, now I want to have you, your time, company and ... Love forever, for lifetime and that also as soon as possible.." she just couldn't behave bold more, just blushed red and looked down to hide that..
Yash touched his forehead with her, "I waited for this from the first day.. thank you for this precious and perfect gift on this day.."
