Fantastic update Jeetu dear.
Loved the way the story is proceeding...👏
So Yash and Arti took Palak as their medium to convey their mes and poor soul is irritated with the fact...awww so cute.
I just missed my PV days when read the part where Arti wants to bye her personal stuff...she calls Yash Duffer... ha ha ha
I am eagerly waiting to see some Arya romantic moment and I know it will come soon as Yash is getting affected by Arti...😳😳😳
Keep rocking dear...⭐️⭐️
I see the story taking a different approach😉.. looking foward for some push and pull(figuratively, not literally😆) between Yash and Aarti... and loved the length as well👍🏼
Part Six
A week later, Yash was greeted by a very excited Aarti when he returned home after work.
"Yashji...I found myself an English tutor. I met him in the elevator, he is an Indian and he lives here. We started talking later he offered to teach me and in return I help him with some housework.
"Isn't it wonderful?" she clasped her hands and smiled widely.
Yash was lost, "Why does she smile like that? I'm so tempted to pull her in my arms and kiss her passionately."
"Yashji...Yashji..." she called him to get his attention as he seemed to be in another world.
"Huh... yeah... that's indeed good news," he said and moved from there lest he give in to the temptation.
Yash was finding it difficult to contain his growing attraction to Aarti. At times he pretended to read but all he did was watch Aarti while she sat on the floor with Palak drawing and painting. How he loved to watch them giggling like little kids when they got playful and smeared paint on each other. It seemed he had been cast a spell, a spell called Aarti. Eventually the unthinkable happened one night maybe to Aarti it was so but for Yash it was finally succumbing to his heart desires.
Yash had attended a get together after work and perhaps had a little too much to drink. He came home late and noticed a worried Aarti waiting for him. She came to his aide as he was walking unsteadily and helped him to the room. After putting him put him on the bed she removed his shoes, later she took a blanket and covered him. And as she walked to the bedside table to turn off the lamp she felt a pull on her saree pallu.
Yash then gripped her hand and pulled her with some force on the bed, his body pressing against hers. He proceeded to plant kisses on her face and her neck. He was so lost in the moment, in her that he didn't hear her whimpers. He ran his hand through her body, the act heightened all his senses and made him impatient to see all of her. He wanted to devour her and the only thing that acted as a shield was the clothes on her, he had to get it off her. His hands moved towards her saree pallu and Aarti reacted by putting her hand over his hand to stop him. He looked at her face and she shook her head, immediately he understood her disapproval and stopped from going further.
She took the opportunity and ran from the room. As for Yash, he sat at the edge at the bed for some time, running his hands through his hair feeling disappointed and ashamed of what he had done.
"What have I done? I have never once asked her if she desires the same," he lamented.
The next day after Yash left for work and Palak to school Aarti decided to speak to Ishita about the incident to get it off her chest.
"You did whaaat," Ishita responded.
"After this rejection, don't know how long it will take him to try again probably when both of you are old and can't walk properly. Why... Aarti... Why?"
"I got scared...he was not sober, I thought he was...," Aarti told her.
"You thought what ... ," Ishita asked her.
"Nothing," Aarti said and covered her face feeling emotionally drained.
"Aarti... tell me what it is. Are you hiding something from me?" Ishita asked and waited for Aarti to reply. Aarti was silent so she continued, "Is this something to do with your ex-husband?"
Aarti broke down and through her tears said, "I gave my all to Prashant, he broke me."
Ishita hugged and pacified her. "I'm so sorry for you. But shouldn't you give a chance to Yash... don't close your heart."
-------------------------------
For a while Yash avoided her, he went to work earlier and came home late. Aarti missed the times they could talk freely, she wished things would improve and for some normalcy. On the other hand Yash didn't over analyse his feelings for her, he reckoned he was only attracted to her and nothing more. However how hard Yash tried nothing remain the same for him, he just couldn't look at her without any feelings.
Nothing would shake Aarti from her stance not even when she saw him with another woman. Aarti, Palak and Ishita were out walking and were almost near their apartment block when they saw Yash getting out a cab. A woman got out as well, gave him a peck on the cheek and later went in the cab.
Ishita nudged Aarti, "Doesn't this disturb you?"
"No," Aarti answered her. Ishita shook her head in disbelieve.
Truth be told, Aarti did feel a little jealous yet she brushed it aside because she didn't want to admit it to herself that deep down in her heart she has already accepted Yash as her husband. Finally there comes a moment in one life's where one incident can threaten to change all the earlier perceived notions, Aarti had that moment too.
The holiday season was on and with some extended holidays Yash wanted to take Palak for sight-seeing. Yash cordially invited Aarti to follow and she agreed, both of them knew that Palak came first and any unsettled issues should remain between them only. Aarti stepped into something more comfy jeans and t-shirt and her hair held in a ponytail. Yash admired her, even in simplicity she was a sight to behold.
They went to Central Park Zoo where Palak had the most fun at the she pointed and named every animal correctly. Yash enlightened her with a lot of information to satiate Palak inquisitive mind, Aarti felt almost left out.
"Smart like her father, I'm the stupid one here."
Well nothing could damper Aarti's spirits for long especially when Palak is around and they walked hand in hand for the rest of the time. They headed home after all the fun and exertion.
They took train and walked back after they alighted at the station and at a pedestrian crossover Aarti was held back by the crowd. Yash and Palak were in front and when the light changed to green they moved first meanwhile Aarti who was behind tried to catch up with them and she didn't notice the light changing to red again. Yash and Palak were already on the other side when Yash realised this and he tried to warn her but Aarti just kept moving. The vehicles started to move but fortunately for Aarti, a swift action by Yash managed to pull Aarti to safety. He was angry yet one look at the shaken Aarti just melted his anger away. It was an eye-opening incident for both of them, Yash realized how important Aarti was to him and Aarti understood that Yash would protect her and not let anything happen to her.
"I'm ready to be his wife in all sense," Aarti confided in Ishita.
"I'm glad you have come to your senses before someone else snatches your husband away then it will be too late to regret and married men are always more attractive to single woman," Ishita warned her.
"Yashji... is not like that."
"Aww... defensive of your Yashji...hah... I like this attitude," Ishita held her by the shoulders and smiled.
"But there is a problem... Yashji... is not like before, he hardly talks two words to me," Aarti grimaced.
"Well... you came to the right person, I will impart all my knowledge about men to you," Ishita told Aarti in such a godly manner which caused Aarti to chuckle.
Ishita then pulled Aarti closer and coached her on what to do.
"Aarti... show him that you are interested by paying attention to him and make physical contact...," Ishita said.
"Huh," replied Aarti.
"Oh! What am I going to do with you? For example you can touch him lightly on his arm while you are talking or while serving his meals you can take an opportunity to brush against him. The key point is to give him subtle hints and if he gets the drift he might make an attempt again."
"If Formula 1 doesn't work then there is always Formula 2," Ishita added.
Aarti set to work on her plan but every time she tried something it backfired. She spilt coffee on Yash's newspaper when she tried to move closer to him and any attempt she did to touch him was met by a "what is she up to" look. As soon as she reported all this failed attempts to Ishita, she laughed until her stomach ached.
"Aarti... it's time to proceed to Formula 2," Ishita told Aarti in a serious manner.
"What is Formula 2?"
"You will find out in due time," Ishita answered.
