After a successful run of Punar Vivah, the makers have a new plan of action in mind. Shashi-Sumeet Mittal Productions Pvt. Ltd is working on a new story under the Punar Vivah brand name due to its success but revisiting the concept and storyline. The makers of of the show are in the process of finalizing their new lead for their new season Punar Vivah 2. A source close to the channel has informed us that for the male lead, Karan Grover who is currently in 'Hum Aapke Hain In-laws', is being seriously considered. Aamna Shariff and Ashima Bhalla are strong contenders for the female lead. The channel has asked the production house to work out a new story wherein the new lead will take the story forward from Gurmeet Choudhary and Kratika Sengar. We wait for our new Punar Vivah couple.
