Chapter seven

It was not quite long when Yash fell sick, he was so sick that he was admitted in the hospital, Aarti stood side by side both day and night looking after her hubby, she couldn't eat or sleep but spent most of her time crying😭. While Yash was hospitalized, a lot of people came around to see him. The doctors who noticed the sober mood of Aarti try to console her by telling her that he was just sick and nothing will happen to him but all the wards from the doctors, nurses, her in-laws, families and friends, who always stop to see them fell on deaf ear. All she wanted was to see her husband get back on his feet again.

One afternoon, Yash woke up from sleep to see Aarti sitting beside him crying. Yash felt pity for her and asked her to stop crying and that everything will soon be alright.

"I know, it just that I don't like seeing anybody close to me being ill, let alone my husband.😳" Aarti lamented.

Yash was so surprised to hear Aarti called him my husband because all the while they were leaving together; they hardly talk or call each other by their names, let alone husband and wife. Yash's eyes could read exactly what he meant to Aarti; they glanced at one another and smiled away shyly😳.

Yash then cleared his throat, held Aarti on her both arms and said to her "if we can leave together as husband and wife, Aarti I promise to make you the happiest woman on earth".

"Believe me; I really do not have anything against you especially now that I have come to know you even better. I just have to take some precautionary measures," Aarti explained.

"I know exactly what you mean, likewise me, but let not go into that now." Yash added.

They began to chat like they have never done before. Few days later Yash was discharged from the hospital; on their way back home Yash was driving while they were chatting.

"Yash! Look at that!" Aarti shouted pointing at an ice cream cart with a mildly tone she said, "Let get some ice cream".😃

"Hn". Yash answered.

As they made their purchase, they sat down under a tree near the park; Aarti started eating hers while Yash stares at her dearly.

"Yash, you should eat that before it falls off". Aarti eyed the ice cream that threatened to fall right on Yash's lap.😆

"Aarti'.uhm... uhm your nose" Yash touched his nose to indicate to her," may I ", Yash asked.

"What?😕" a confused Aarti asked.

"Ice cream" Yash said with a grin and used his finger to wipe it off, and at the same time placing an extremely sweet peck on her nose.

"I LOVE YOU AARTI".❤️❤️❤️the three words slip from yash's mouth.

"Yash" Aarti said in whispers after digesting the unexpected peck. "I love you too☺️"

A shy Aarti ran to the car, followed by Yash..

"Kiss me and smile for me" Yash said as he enter the car, Aarti blew a kiss to him.😉 "Shall we" and they drove home.

After a week of fun between d the couples , Yash request that he should be given three weeks leave for his honeymoon as he did not take any after his marriage. Due to his co-operation with his office workers, he was granted the request and surprised with tickets to Hawaii😃.

Yash and Aarti had the best fun of their life😊

The couples lived happily and were blessed with three (3) kids.
