Hee, it's funny how I am not angry but just hurt, deeply hurt. If anything, my anger/grouse would be with the channel and not the PH or the stars who have given us so much. I am still amazed at how lucky we are to have found the perfect show, with an almost perfect casting, perfect directors and perfect PH! Anu, ditto to the sentences in bold. I think this PH is really really lucky when it came to the casting of PV. I think it was Samana who mentioned in DC that casting is this PH's biggest strength and biggest weakness too. They usually have a very strong content in all their shows but they need not necessarily have a strong cast. I think with PV it all came together that is until the crazy digitization and their inability to gauge the audience's reaction to Prashant during the no TRP phase. When your content is a little shaky which is very normal when you have to keep churning out tracks, it is the powerful acting talent that then carries the show forward for that period of time when story wise they are a little bit shaky.
Sigh, with regards to your first sentence, I didn't feel even that. I have had experience with this channel before and it hasn't been pleasant and I always expected that they would resort to some gimmicks if the ratings went down. So I guess even in that respect I was not surprised. But what has amazed me is Mittal's way of handling things. The rumors started making its round since the last two weeks or so. They didn't waste much time to come out clear out their actor's name and state the truth that they feel they have come to an end with ArYa's story and that they refuse to destroy their beautiful story, just to satisfy the channel. Since we have seen some major issues with PHs/Channels in the recent past being blown up to epic proportions, I have been pretty impressed with the honesty and integrity that this PH has handled things. 😆
