I'll start this chapter with Yash unpacking in his room.

Yash was in his room freshening up. He had taken a non stop flight from New York. He asked Ramdulre for a hot cup of coffee. He was very tired, but right now he was least bothered about it, as he was excited to meet that one person for whom his eyes were craving since the last two months. AARTI DUBEY. His beautiful Aarti. THE LOVE OF HIS LIFE.

He suddenly remembered the day when he first heard about Aarti from his Maa, almost two years back

(Flashback)

After Yash's 25th birthday, Gayatri one day came to him with a girls photo. She said " Yash beta please take a look at the photo of this girl, her name is AARTI DUBEY. She is the daughter of Mr. Satyendra and Mrs. Shobha Dubey, who are close friends of your Rajiv Mama. They've sent this photo for your marriage proposal".

" Ma you know very well that I am not yet ready to get married," Yash replied a little irritatingly" I want to build my carrier first. I want to become something, get stability in life. I've to get properly trained so that I could assist Bauji in our Wedding and Event planning Business. After that only I can think of getting married. So please don't force me for the next couple of years."

Gayatri tried to convince him, " but beta Aarti is a very nice, well mannered, well cultured and beautiful girl. She is 21 and doing her post graduation. Your Mami told me that she will be perfect for you and this family. They even said that your nature is so similar, it is as if You Both are made for each other."

Yash laughed loudly at this and said " Mom I don't believe in all this Made for Each Other Stuff. And if we truly are MEANT TO BE with each other, THEN WE WILL EVENTUALLY GET MARRIED SOME DAY OR THE OTHER."

Before Gayatri could protest, he continued" Ma if this girl Aarti and I are truly MEANT TO BE, then lets see if we get married after few years. If we are true soul mates we will meet after years also." And with that he laughed once again.

Gayatri was surprised to hear this from Yash, she said " Yash now I am more sure that you both are made for each other as Aarti also said the exact same things for you. You see she too wants to complete her studies first, and then think about marriage. So now I am more sure that one day you both will get married, mark my words"

Yash laughed and left the room saying " ok Ma I'll mark your words. You keep that photo safely with you and we will talk about it after two years".

Gayatri knew that Yash was very stubborn. Once he has decided to do something, he will do it, no matter what. So Gayatri had no other option but to keep quite for the moment.

Till the next two years Yash got very busy with his work and training. He was assisting Suraj in his wedding planning business. Marriage was the last thing on his mind. But Gayatri wasn't going to sit quite for too long.

Gayatri knew even Aarti had not got married by now, as just few days back she had finished her post graduation. Since last two years she's been asking her Rajiv Bhaiya and Rekha Bhabhi about Aarti. She was determined to make Aarti the Daughter-in-law of Schindhiya family, as she had heard so many good things about Aarti.

Rajiv Mama's eldest son Ravi was getting married in few days and so the whole family was planning to attend the wedding. Yash was very reluctant to go as he was very busy, but he knew that he had to go as he was Rajiv Mama's favorite. Plus Suraj's company was handling the whole wedding event. Yash was also assisting him.So this was like a golden opportunity for Gayatri, to once again talk with Yash about his marriage.

Yash had finally got an offer to assist a well reputed wedding planner in New York, for a couple of months. He had to leave in a few days for it. Yash was in a very good mood so she once again took Aarti's latest photo to him. He was reading some magazine, Gayatri, accompanied by her youngest daughter Mansi ( Manu), went to him and placed Aarti's photo on top of the page that Yash was reading.

For a second Yash was startled and a little angry, but then he picked up the photo and finally looked at it. He couldn't believe his eyes. It was a photo of the most beautiful girl, he had ever seen. There was a look of innocence on her face and yet her eyes were filled with naughtiness. There was something in those big brown eyes that caught his attention. He was completely mesmerized by those eyes.

A big smile came on Gayatri's face by looking at Yash's expression and reaction when he saw that photo. She said, " Yash this is Aarti. Remember two years back I talked with you about her? That time I had told you that you two are truly made for each other. But you had laughed it off. You told me that if you both are truly MEANT TO BE, then we will see if after a long time also you meet each other or not. She has just finished her post graduation. Aarti's family is close to Rajiv Bhaiya's family, so Aarti and her whole family will be there for 2-3 days. Now you have a chance to see her in person as she will be there in Ravi's wedding. If you are interested you can come with us to attend the wedding. There you can personally meet Aarti and make a decision. It's all upto you now. Think about it and let us know". With that Gayatri started leaving the room.

Before she reached the door she heard Yash saying " Ma I'll attend the wedding as I want to meet Aarti".

This brought a smile on Gayatri's face and she went and hugged him.

"Ma I don't think Bhaiya needs to meet Aarti Bhabhi, just looking at his face, it looks like he will marry her today itself." Manu, who was watching all this started laughing and teasingly said. "He's a goner now, so why unnecessarily waste time in this meeting and all? Why don't we just get them married the same day of Ravi bhaiya s wedding?"

Yash gave a nice stern look to his kid sister, but Gayatri laughed at his reaction and Mansi's comment. But she said " Manu we know that Yash liked Aarti's photo but he doesn't know anything about her. Plus we don't even know wether Aarti also likes him or not. Now we can't expect Aarti to marry a completely unknown person. What if we ask to marry someone and you don't know anything about him? How will you feel, uh?. So we must give them a chance to meet and know each other, only then we can talk about their marriage. And one more thing till nothing is finalized you won't talk about this with anyone. Especially not in front of Ammaji. You know how good she is at creating scene, so no word in front of her. Am I clear?"

Mansi nodded at her Ma, and they both left the room, leaving Yash in deep thought looking at Aarti's photo. He wasn't able to take his eyes off of this beautiful girl in the photo. For the first time in his life he was ready to believe in LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT.

After a few days, Suraj, Gayatri and Mansi left for the wedding, Yash was to accompany them later. Their two youngest sons were out of town so they were not attending the wedding. Though Rajiv Mama stayed in the same city, Bhopal, they've forced the Schindhiya's to come few days in advance. As Dubeys were Rajiv's and Rekha's close friends, and they also stayed in the same city, they also came 3-4 days before the wedding.

Suraj and Gayatri were finally introduced to the Dubey's. and later they met Aarti. They were immediately impressed by her. Aarti was a very well mannered, soft spoken girl. She and Mansi immediately hit it off with each other, though Mansi was 6-7 years younger than her, Aarti and Mansi became friends.

Yash reached there two days before the wedding. Ever since he reached the venue Yash's eyes were searching for only one person Aarti. Though he heard someone calling her name several times, but still she was nowhere to be seen.

It was started to get too crowded, so to get some fresh air Yash went to the terrace of the building. But here also there was no peace as few kids were playing blind fold. He was about to leave when he heard one of the kids saying" Aarti Didi, please tie this blind fold on your eyes as its your den now".

Yash stopped in his tracks and slowly turned around, and there she was. Aarti, the one he was looking for AARTI DUBEY. In pink suit, playing with kids less than half her age. She had long hair, almost till her waist which she had kept loose.

Aarti knelt down as one of the kids put the blind fold on her. They gave her a few turns and started running around her calling her name. Aarti was trying to catch them, in the process she started moving towards Yash.

Before the kids could warn her about him, Aarti stumbled and Yash ran and caught her. He held her tightly with one arm, so that she doesn't fall down. This was the first time he looked at her so closely. A few strand of her hair had fallen on her face. Yash had this sudden urge to touch her hair and remove from her face, as it was obstructing his view.

Aarti, who had gripped his arm tightly with one hand, with the other hand removed her blind fold. She slowly opened her eyes and gazed into Yash's. It was as if the time had stood still. Yash was lost in those big brown eyes. She was even more beautiful than her photo. Her eyes were so transparent so deep, that Yash felt almost drowning in them. Aarti too was lost in Yash's eyes.

It was the kids who brought them out if their revere. They both immediately let go of each others arm. Aarti looked at him and turned around and slowly ran away from there, Then she suddenly turned around and once again looked at him. Yash was now sure that he was in love. He was in love with this beautiful girl...AARTI DUBEY.
