Aarti and Yash are swimming against the tide
What do I mean by that?
They (AarYa) are doing the opposite of what most people want to do.
In this case AarYa want to stop continuing the error that Yash has been unwittingly perpetrating on G3 and Akaash for 31 years.
Most people in their situation would do as SP advised - but AarYa have a more developed conscience and want to do what is morally and ethically right. They realize this is their duty solely and have no expectations from others - indicated by their unilateral decision to carry an empty suitcase to the tambu instead of one filled with one crore rupees and legal documents.
There are two kinds of people (who shape the future) in this world: those who are hopelessly pessimistic and those who are very optimistic.
The pessimists (G3, 2Ps, SP, Bua) say: 'It won't work. It is fraught with problems that are insurmountable'. The optimists (AarYa) feel that "if we don't change things, who will? It's up to us."
The middle lack the guts to venture and wait till the timing is right. The pessimists may shift to the middle. The optimist may question his/her decisions in a moment of self-doubt under severe pressure but he/she is not playing God or acting mahaan. This idea of playing God came about in the middle ages where they punished those said the earth rotates around the sun, man can make an instrument which will enable him to fly, etc.
People like AarYa who swim against the tide - have no textbook or map to follow. They are blazing a trail and as many PVians have rightly said cannot expect support or sympathy. And this is precisely why Aarti could not seek help from Panky or Prateek re: Ak's Moonlite Bar fiasco!!
I said they are swimming against the tide and what is the tide that AarYa may face?
People who walk the ethical/spiritual path would say one faces the tide of temptation. In AarYa's case it is G3's love and unquestioned understanding, gratitude from AkIsh, expectation of some decent behavior from Ak, understanding from Pankaj, and many, many setbacks and disappointments before they achieve their goal. Perhaps they may die trying to achieve it - but that is of little consequence if in the process they can sleep with a quiet and peacefull heart!!!

Nice take...the main reason Aarya did what they did was because of their conscientiousness...they would not be able to live with themselves knowing they had robbed Aakash of his identity and place!!!!
Not all have the guts to do what they did...unfortunately they have to face the consequences too!!!
Hopefully whatever loss they go through (not life but displacement) will be temporary!!!

Thank you bharathisamy for that encouraging and supportive comment. 😊
ITA "not all have the guts to do what they did". Is it little wonder that half of the Forum members consider their action crazy and fault them on their decision?

Well said. The Kathopanishad says the same thing --to swim against the tide requires courage and discrimination (a well developed conscience as you put it --a sophisticated dharma meter). Nice title, by the way. I opened this gingerly wondering about its kosher level : ), and was very happy that it was not x rated. Best always. Om

The optimist (Aarya) feel that "if we don't change things ,who will? It's up to us.
"
Aha soo true anonee, have we ever seen anyone stand up for the family if not Aarya. Isn't it's yash who always raised his voice against sp. Pratik couldn't do shit for pari and let me not get to panku who couldn't even handle his case. This is the selfless Aarya for us. Great post

Nice one anonee😃 Was just wondering about the good thoughts and its action and reaction - am referring to Arya. Arya action on good thoughts was labelled as Mahan BY US and that is the reaction. One has to take the responsibility of telling the truth and facing the bitter storm irrespective whether your position is at stake or not. At the end of the day - your concience is clear and u may have a peaceful sleep.

Nice to see Arya swimming together throwing caution to the winds. With all the negativity going around - Arya is the only positive characters consistent, reliable and optimistic one - for us to watch with hope of success in life if united.

Once again anonee - loved reading your take - and sorry of taking an opportunity to convey my thoughts thru ur post.
