I knew the man was Yash and Yash's past is really heartbreaking!😭

Don't tell me he'll think that the diary is Arpita's and marry her.😭

I loved it. Please continue soon!👏⭐️

Indu...reading the past has now made the realization dawn on me why Yash was in pain so many times when Aayu was speaking to him. I re-read the parts and you made me cry. After soaking in every word of yours from the starting I now realized the betrayal of Yash, Aarti's past and her pain and whatever emotion Yash had felt when talking to the kids. What I don't understand is when Yash was chatting with his girlfriend he teared up as he was blaming himself for "betraying" Aarti. What I am thinking was that is he still regretting thinking of Aarti's diary to be Arpita's or is it denying her of love and affection that no one has ever given to her in her entire life just because of his heartbreaks. What else I am thinking of is that how the kids will react to Aarti and Yash's past which I believe will be part of this story. My main question is that if you will be writing Samarpan because I want to see Aarti's view of her life, her pain that was suffered, her love with Yash and how it and how it made her life beautiful, how she learns to interact and trust, how Aayu came and how she felt. if I am not wrong, Payal is Arpita's child. If so, i want to see the girl inside her coming out that never did when she should have. I want to see her embracing her life. And you have now started to reveal Yash's character but I want to know more about this. Yash has a lot more hurt in his past than portrayed. That phone call by Arpita makes me think she betrayed Yash and the state of him when he meets Aarti tells me that she was after his money too but he was blinded by the affection never given to him and refused to see beyond that. I already know of the turnout of the interaction if I'm right. The picture of Aarti taken by Yash which I believe was the second clue in the treasure hunt was one from their meetings by the shop and well, Aarti will just nod and speak through her expressions in that first meeting coming up.

Now, Indu...you FF, 'Samarpan' has touched me and I am sure some of what I stated about is total bakwas but I don't care because these were the emotions playing through me at that moment of reading over this. Please don't laugh if I have mentioned craziness above and I anticipate a response to my questions and especially the one where I asked if you are writing Samarpan. Indu, I may have written longer responses than this elsewhere but no FF has even touched me and moved me to the verge of crying because of the little details and the characters like your Sparsh and Samarpan. I absolutely loved this. I can see every single detail of yours has a story behind it and you plan every move in this story which I think is amazing. I am addicted to this. I know I commented above but at that point, I didn't realize whatever was written had a reason for it. I love this FF, Indu di and I salute you for this masterpiece and for being a brillian writer.

guruandkratz...Wow!! I just read the summary of your understanding of Samarpan. You floored me there pal...so much so that with due apologies to all my other friends whose comments I am in receipt of, I am going to deviate from the rule for once and respond to your post first.

First, thank you so much for going back and trying to understand the characterizations as they were presented in the beginning...in the present. When I began writing this story, Yash and Aarti's characters may not be stark but were pretty much clear in my head. I knew generally what their pasts were and, more importantly, how their individual pasts would impact on their interactions with each other when they would meet as adults. I couldn't have begun Samarpan if I didn't know Yash/Aarti. The title itself is a giveaway if you look at it from the context of their pasts. How will two loving and generous people react to each other and to the intense feelings that naturally creep up when they lay their eyes on each other? Especially when they have avowed to their selves never ever to give in to the romantic impulse? We know now that Aarti's self-loathing and low worth has made her believe that she is not good enough , so she has pledged to keep herself away from the emotion of love. On the contrary, we can sense a feeling of general distrust creeping in Yash because of his experiences with the emotion of love related to the opposite sex...we'll soon know how his experiences will make him believe that no girl is really good enough. So in the end, when both meet, they will have this wall between them...put up for different reasons by each. The issue then will be, how will they surrender (samarpan) to their feelings and then to each other? My difficulty level will increase then.

About your query regarding Yash getting guilty and emotional about Aarti while talking to naanimaasi, indicating that he is sort of blaming himself for misunderstanding Aarti...well, I haven't yet touched upon the reason of that interaction. It'll come up after this. Hmmm!!! The journal could be one reason...but it is certainly not the only reason.

Aarti's past will definitely play a role in her dealing with a future complication. Gosh pal...your thoughts have really taken me so far ahead. Those ideas of future chapters are still in a corner of my head.. I hope I am able to do justice to what I have taken up.

I hope I have been able to answer your questions. Please feel free to clear anything up. I do realize that my thoughts are so interwoven that say for Part 9 you may have to refer to Parts 1/2...or whatever part has been left behind. You were gracious enough to go back and re-read. I hope I don't put off someone with the manner I am going about Samarpan.

Thank you so much. Your response was just so overwhelming that I ended up writing a thesis of my own.😳

@Indu- Are you actually writing Samarpan (the book that Aarti wrote) or just parts or not at all...that's my only query.

It's not the book. I did mention that the book is just a lift-off from their lives...not actually their lives. In the prologue, Yash tells Payal that the story touches upon their lives. In Part 2, Aarti did tell Yash, "...It's not an autobiography, Yash….Only you will know where I have included us.".

As we go along, we'll know how fiercely Aarti is protective of not only herself and Yash but her entire family. She would never subject their personal life to public perusal. So...yes...kids have a general idea about their parents' past leading up to their marriage, but not the entire saga. That part is sacred and belongs only to Yash and Aarti.

I hope you don't have doubts regarding that issue.😊

Thanks Saf. I was a little nervous regarding the facts about Yash's past. Unlike Aarti's past, Yash's issues are not sinister, even though they are dark enough. So to bring out those issues of Yash was a little tricky. I am glad most of the readers have rightly caught on the pulse of his problem.😊
