I am in total agreement about the romance being misplaced - I'm sure many of us would have preferred something more private - but since this was a mahasangam and I assume that there needed to be some way to show both lead couples together, this was what we got...The other couple got a song that would fit their situation, we got a jhalak of an alternative romance style. I much prefer our own, special, subtle style of romance that is distinctly Yash-Aarti. And it did come back, I think, in the next episode at the beginning, when Yash suggested that they should roam around holding each other's hands constantly as well. I thought that was cute, but maybe that's just me.
Aaah, your description of that night in Mumbai is pushing me to revisit that scene again! That was such a lovely sequence, wasn't it? And they hardly even looked each other in the eye there.
I am usually not a fan of the tons and tons of multicolored lights in the background of such scenes in that PH's members' shows (this one just made me think of Christmas) but in spite of the distraction, I managed to focus on their faces, and I do love the illumination and the sparkle and the softness, all of which you mentioned!
I talked about Asad-Zoya's relationship? Where, Enid? I can only see my endless ramblings about our beloved lead actors and the 4Lions alter egos of our Yash and Aarti...😆 I know next to nothing about other TV couples' relationships, and the only glimpses of QH that I got were the ones from the MS episodes and the rest of the random jungle scene that continued in Tuesday's episode. The only reason I even looked up the latter and ventured beyond the 10:30 time slot was because I wanted to see what else Gurmeet and Kratika had to do! 😆 And as I expected, they didn't disappoint me in their role-playing.
