I think the CVs are following the same line of approach your FIL suggested or something similar - or the separation would not have occured.

They have taken the pains to explicitly show SP as a competitive person. They have shown that of the 3 brothers it is Yash who is more attuned to the family business and more of a leader. They have shown how much the family misses AarYa. Now after this banishment the SM are going to miss AarYa and I doubt the gloom will ever lift because G3 will never be able to fully reconcile with SP.
