Thank you...See, the last time Aarti was banished Yash was not yet in love with her and didn't know her feelings regarding the relationship and the marriage...as such he never went after her. However, this time it's different. Yash will never leave Aarti and Ansh as they are his family and he loves them. So SP cannot directly throw Aarti out...as Yash will surely follow. And if SP plays a dirty game of emotional blackmail, he might get his son and daughters to stay back in the house, but he would have lost them otherwise. Yash, Palak, Payal will never forgive him for separating them from Aarti/Ansh. So even in his win, SP will face only loss.

God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to
change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference...

And the custody battle is on...on two fronts. The victims in question are two sons: Yash and Ansh...and the criminal son snatcher in both cases is a certain "woman" called Aarti. Prashant wants his son back and wants to mold him in his own ways as he has a khoon ka rishta...SP wants his son back because his pride is unable to fathom that his own son not only chose the errant woman over him but also seems happy in the adversity created by him. They are both resorting to looking at the situation with blinkers on...Their pride has been dented and they are deliberately being blind to what Aarti has done for them and their families. As far as they are concerned, their sons are not with them but with her...so she is in control and has the best of both worlds. In short, Prashant is going all out to gain control over his son and SP has thrown a challenge in the air to regain his control of his waylaid son. Control is the key word here...not love, not happiness, not humaneness, not a regular punishment even...but plain and simple control. The sons being trophies for the fathers to be won over from the opponent, namely Aarti.

However, both these control-freak fathers forgot the existence of another father: Yash Scindia. Yash will show them the other side of the coin...that the connection of heart is way above a blood connect...that he may not have sired Ansh but their relation is based on love and mutual respect. SP and Prashant both think Yash is easy game...because Yash is soft, gentle and does not believe in unnecessary confrontation and retaliation. Prashant is testing waters with Yash and till now Yash has shown restraint...SP is supremely confident that he will manage to get his gentle-mannered son back. Their narrow vision perceives Yash as weak. Both will get a shock when they will realize first hand that what they perceived as weakness in Yash is actually his strength. This family can no more be broken, because now a strong bond of love joins them. In this hour of crisis, if theirs is the only family that is leading a life of cohesiveness in an amiable, loving ambiance, it is because they are fighting the opposing forces with love. SP is being completely petty now...How can his son turn out a better father, when he stands a loser of a son? How can Aarti take away my son and be happy with hers next to her? He is unnecessarily creating walls of pride that are high and wide and that cannot see over to the other side!!

SP and Prashant are heading for a reality check at the hands of their own blood sons. Probably, at the end of all this, they'll realize that you can control the human beings but you cannot control their hearts and the love flow in those hearts...that a family is not bound together by shackles of control, but that many invisible threads of love keep a family united and attached...that the lady they term as snatcher is actually the nurturer of their sons...that without her presence in their lives, their respective sons will only be empty shells...

Have a nice day friends. More for laters if I get time.

Excellent analysis.👏

Good Morning Indu... For some reason SP was on my mind this morning. I watched the episode again before I went to bed and when I woke up I fully understood where he was coming from.I still think that he has a more far reaching plan than simply separating Aarti and Yash, this is a test of dedication and family mores.
For all intents and purposes Aarti deconstructed everything he thought he knew about her and himself. Yes he totally thought of her as a daughter and has treated her accordingly. When the family found out about Pari's working and the subsequent murder of the producer he was willing to not only let her go to jail without a fight but to sever ties with Prateek. I don't think that his wanting Aarti out of the house is any less.
His treatment of Ansh was harsh but again I think had it been Palak or Payal the treatment would have been the same. This is clearly a case of "The sins of the father..." Aarti has disappointed him and by extension of his support so has Yash. Both are having to rebuild their relationship and positions in the family from a less than 0 position and since the children are theirs combined they (the children) are the unfortunate casualties of this war.
Prashant on the other hand has no appreciation for anything that anyone has done. For a while I was hoping for a smart and competent villain kinda like you see in "real" life but he is turning out to not quite be smart enough to make the grade *sigh*. His immaturity will certainly lead to his ultimate down fall. The only thing that will be worth watching him for now is to see how everything gets cleaned up before the end.
A final thought about SP is that "only those you have truly loved can truly hurt you" and that seems to be what he is experiencing right now.

@Leelaa & Gafulu: Thank you.😊

@Gemmy: I loved your post. I really wish that they hadn't made SP take it out on Ansh...They made him stoop down to Prashant's level...Both are taking it out on Aarti and in the process hurting their own sons as well as the other's. How could he disregard the little child's cry of pain for his father? Sheesh...what a mess!!

False sense of pride makes a man look down on things and people; and, of course, as long as you are looking down, you cannot see something that is above you.

Beautiful analysis Indu dear mmm i was so confused about SP sudden change towards yash and aarti, why is he so angry with yash when he said that next time he would do a better hair do for his kids? yes its a fear in him he thinks aarti is controlling his son and he has fallen in to it, he has become "Jhoru ka Ghulam" which would never go with his egoistic personality.

Thanks Naeema...

SP is letting his pride and ego overpower him. It's incomprehensible to him that a son of his desired to stand by his wife in this punishment against his wishes. To him it looks as if he lost control of his son...and, as you rightly pointed out, that his son is being controlled now by Aarti. He finds it hard to believe that his son has chosen a wrong woman over his own blood ties. A badly wounded pride has momentarily killed his humaneness.
