God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to
change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference...

And the custody battle is on...on two fronts. The victims in question are two sons: Yash and Ansh...and the criminal son snatcher in both cases is a certain "woman" called Aarti. Prashant wants his son back and wants to mold him in his own ways as he has a khoon ka rishta...SP wants his son back because his pride is unable to fathom that his own son not only chose the errant woman over him but also seems happy in the adversity created by him. They are both resorting to looking at the situation with blinkers on...Their pride has been dented and they are deliberately being blind to what Aarti has done for them and their families. As far as they are concerned, their sons are not with them but with her...so she is in control and has the best of both worlds. In short, Prashant is going all out to gain control over his son and SP has thrown a challenge in the air to regain his control of his waylaid son. Control is the key word here...not love, not happiness, not humaneness, not a regular punishment even...but plain and simple control. The sons being trophies for the fathers to be won over from the opponent, namely Aarti.

However, both these control-freak fathers forgot the existence of another father: Yash Scindia. Yash will show them the other side of the coin...that the connection of heart is way above a blood connect...that he may not have sired Ansh but their relation is based on love and mutual respect. SP and Prashant both think Yash is easy game...because Yash is soft, gentle and does not believe in unnecessary confrontation and retaliation. Prashant is testing waters with Yash and till now Yash has shown restraint...SP is supremely confident that he will manage to get his gentle-mannered son back. Their narrow vision perceives Yash as weak. Both will get a shock when they will realize first hand that what they perceived as weakness in Yash is actually his strength. This family can no more be broken, because now a strong bond of love joins them. In this hour of crisis, if theirs is the only family that is leading a life of cohesiveness in an amiable, loving ambiance, it is because they are fighting the opposing forces with love. SP is being completely petty now...How can his son turn out a better father, when he stands a loser of a son? How can Aarti take away my son and be happy with hers next to her? He is unnecessarily creating walls of pride that are high and wide and that cannot see over to the other side!!

SP and Prashant are heading for a reality check at the hands of their own blood sons. Probably, at the end of all this, they'll realize that you can control the human beings but you cannot control their hearts and the love flow in those hearts...that a family is not bound together by shackles of control, but that many invisible threads of love keep a family united and attached...that the lady they term as snatcher is actually the nurturer of their sons...that without her presence in their lives, their respective sons will only be empty shells...

Have a nice day friends. More for laters if I get time.

Indu ,

I was waiting for your analysis desperately .I was total confused with the change in attitude and decision from SP as I had a very strong hope of being a logical man .
that's why ... his sudden illogical decision to separate yash from arati and ansh didn't sit well with me .
but after reading your superb analysis ... I came to know reason ... it is " control " . more than Ego ..somewhere Jealousy to see them happy at adverse situation which is making him think irrationally .
i hope he understands his mistake before he looses his respect from his most sincere son

Prashant interference is their life ( arya and kids )is intolerable ...

Indu , your analysis always put my doubt to rest ... thank you

Fabulous analysis Pal 👏 👏 👏...SP isn't thinking about what is best for Yash nor is Prashant, they are both being selfish blaming Aarti for taking their sons away when the truth of the matter is that Aarti brought life into their sons lives...She is the reason why they are so happy and lively today.

I can't wait for Yash to show those two what it really means to be a father, blood doesn't make you a father...Putting you child's needs above your own, his what it means to be a good father.

Beautiful take Indu...Although I will say I think there's more to SP than wounded pride right now.
Sp is an astute business man because he sees a greater picture and seems to be pretty good at keeping track of the details too. There's something more going on with him than old fashioned beliefs and hurt feelings. He's definitely keeping his eye on something. I'm not sure what but something. It's almost as if he's testing Aarti and Yash's commitment to each other.
When Aarti and Yash came back from Lalitpur he told them they couldn't stay in the house and Aarti promised him that she wouldn't leave again. On a very basic level I think he is testing Aarti's commitment to the family and her dedication to the Scindia family as opposed to the Dubey's. His vowing to separate Yash and Aarti for all intents and purposes is simply lip service. I think he is fully aware of his son's commitment to his family and his wife ( who I think is not separate from but is not completely embraced as family ), and I would hope that Bua has very little influence over his decision making, no matter how much hissing she does.
SP is a smart man who once he cools off will think clearly but right now he is in crisis control mode, so dealing with his own emotional bruising and maintaining some form of command over other members of his family is making him careless but I'm hoping it's only temporary.

Indu, beautiful beautiful take.

Honestly, I don't know what to say. Immediately after the episode aired I was convinced that SP cannot see past his wounded pride and his ego being thwarted by his own son who according to him is in the deadly grips of Aarti.

But then I watched the episode again and the pre-cap especially threw me off. For whatever reason, I am finding it very very hard to still believe that SP will so easily permanently succumb to his ego. Even if we put aside Aarti, I find it so hard to believe that he can let go of Anshjust like that. I mean, Ansh has made a very special spot for himself in SP's heart. I think there is something serious reasoning or testing or whatever you want to put it, going on in SP's mind. Again, that dialogue he tells ArYa after Lalitpur comes back to my mind...that there is no place for ego in a relationship. Even at that time he wanted Yash and Aarti to leave the house and it was after Aarti's staunch promise that she will never ever leave the house that he relented.

There is most definitely hurt, wounded pride, ego and all at play here but I feel there is so much more going on in SP's head which we viewers won't be privy to for sometime.

Prashant is a loser period. 😡

@Zet, Aditi, Prasadini, Ann, Jayushu, Iqra: Thank you.😊

@Gemmy & Kirthi: You have only voiced my thoughts and feelings my friends. Till the previous episode I gave SP his due, given how he was watching, observing, and absorbing. The kind of invigilation he was putting her through, I thought he was literally marking Aarti in an exam. However, his eating the very jalebis he refused Ansh, his using derogatory language for the person he considered a daughter not long back, and then again avowing to alienate Aarti and Ansh from Yash and the girls (not to forget the incriminating precap) is making me wonder whether CVs are taking the route for the obvious for obvious reasons. Plus they are making Gayatri again mouth Yash and meri potis dialogue...with blatant discrimination. I would so like the balance tilt in my original thinking as well...that SP is looking some at some kind of a bigger picture, provided he gives me a hint...I too am being especially sensitive regarding his changed behavior toward Ansh.

Does he want Aarti and Ansh to pass the ultimate test of fire so that his family never ever questions Aarti's commitment, given Prashant may always hover around them???🤔

Awesome Analysis Indu.

Till now I felt very sad that SP was behaving in a hurtful manner towards Aarti and Ansh.

After reading your post I realise that Aarti's husband and Ansh's papa Yashji will handle everything according to the situation.

SP's character garnered lot of respect from everyone till now. I hope CV's will not destroy SP's character.
