Punar Vivah was the realistic show and now its loosing that touch! Especially after seeing today's episode, I realised that! Even it lacks pace these days!
They are trying to fetch TRPs by creating DRAMA which they did for DABH! But they are forgetting that it will not create any magic as the speciality of Punar Vivah is maturity and understanding! And its the worldwide truth tha Sachin Tendulkar cant sing like Lata Mangeshkar. It means they should try to work on its speciality and not on the DRAMA they created today!

I think today's episode was very realistic! What was unrealistic about it?

Yash reacting that way? Well, anybody in his shoes would feel the same pain/anger that he did.

Aarti not saying once that she loved Yash? Well she thought she was talking to Prashant so she needed to release everything that she held within her for the last few years. She had to let it out, that's why she didn't focus on her relationship with Yash. She focused on what Prashant meant to her, because she needed to get all that pent up pain and frustration from the past couple of years off her shoulders.

In my opinion, the past few episodes have been very realistic.

About the show being unrealistic, well, if you ask me I will say it is pretty close to realistic. Yash's reaction was what everybody was expecting. Those who wanted him to get angry and those who wanted him to be still by her side, CVs managed to give both.
Though I am afraid many people, especially the old ladies at home are unable to relate to this.

Mujhe toh mandir ka ghanti aur aarti ka photo frame toot ne wala scene ke siva sab kuch realistic laga. I can relate both aarti and yash's feelings and reactions to my known real life cases.

One my closest friend waited for years for her lover to come back to her. She cried so many times in front of me saying that I still wait for him to come back. She waited for him over three years, never even thought of anothe man in her life. Recently she got engaged after seeimg her lover got engaged to another girl. I could relate aarti's words with her.

And yash's reaction...well, I could relate that with myself :p. Its true, you cant hate your love...even if you find that person lied or hid something from you.

A drama will have dramatic elements and this episode had that. Yeah, if you consider how aarti is still carrying the baby despite all those stress, yes..its a valid concern, the way doctor described her situation, i think aayu is not well inside his/her mom :(

I agree with most of what you wrote! Except for I still wonder why did Aarti not say that she is in love with Yash...She wanted Prashant to go away from her life and not habour any hopes for reconciliation...I feel that she should have mentioned that I am in love with my husband and I cannot imagine living my life without Yashji...the issue that I have is that whatever she said it was as though she could not walk away because she is indebted to them and they need her...And it's not because she is very contented with her current life and this is how she wants her life to be!

Aarti told Prashant to stay out of her life from a practical point of view and not an emotional one! She only got emotional when she was referring to her and Prashant's relationship. Plus, I guess she didn't want to hurt him because saying "i don't love you, i love Yash" sounds harsh. I didn't see anything wrong with it.
