Y Gurmeet Fans Decrease? - Page 3

Gurmeet's fans are not decreasing, it's just that we are no longer obsessed with the IF rankings because honestly, it's a joke. As much as I love Gurmeet, I think there are other actors such as Ram Kapoor and Ronit Roy who are as good as him, acting wise, and yet are not even in the top 20. So is it a fair basis of judgement? Most definitely no. Fans of the 'top 3' celebs are obsessed. They are willing to sacrifice their sleep, meals, etc just to make MIDs and keep their celebs at the top. What's the point? Nothing at all. We know that Gurmeet (and Kratika) are phenomenonal actors. These rankings don't prove anything.

Personally, I only got to know about Gurmeet properly after PV. TBH, his acting in Geet was sub-standard (my POV, please don't bash me) whereas in PV, he's portraying a gamut of emotions, superbly. Zee is a much more popular channel than SO and PV's ratings have always been higher than Geet's. What does that show? More people know about Gurmeet now so is his fans decreasing? I think you know what the answer is. =)

Oh and Gurmeet doesn't make his co-actor look good with him. That's totally undermining Kratika's efforts! Both Gurmeet AND Kratika have worked hard to build that chemistry. I could say that Kratika makes Gurmeet look good with her too right? Guys, we love them BOTH so let's not wage a war out here. Both complement each other. In my eyes, this pairing has worked wonders, thanks to both GK! Love them both. <3

only India Forum members give so much importance to these rankings... i'm sure Gurmeet himself doesnt care... he has plenty of fans from his Ramayan days, GHSP days as well as those of Punar Vivaah... not all of them are on online forums... Gurmeet is one of those few young actors who are equally popular in the online world as well as the real world... he's probably the only young actor who has fans ranging from 8 - 80 years of age, because of the different genres of shows and roles he has done... as fans, we should be proud of THAT fact... why bother about some superficial rankings which are based on how many overenthusiastic fans an actor has online? it gives no real indication of an actor's actual popularity... the fact that inspite of doing a mature show like Punar Vivaah he's still in the top 5 of a ranking which is mainly based on youth based and mills and boon love stories says a lot... if these ranking were an actual indication, people like Ram Kapoor, Sakshi Tanwar and Ronit Roy would have featured in the top 10... but they are not even present in the top 40!

On a serious note, They don't count as GC Fans. They're morelike fans of his previous show thus they don't follow him in PV which leads to him decreasing in the Rankings.

And regarding the rankings - Hasn't anyone noticed how the Phamous 'Gonna Be Most Likely to be liked among Teenagers' Characters & Shows be on No.1 in the rankings...? =P

Yesterday it was GHSP
Today It's IPk
Tomorrow it'll be QH

And so on

Oh and, IF is RULED By Teenagers 😛
PVians don't even bother with the rankings cuz they're MATURE 😃

I am very big fan of GC...and respect him and his decisions...I love GHSP...and waited like hell to see GC in PV...I don't miss 1 sec of PV...Gurumeet is best...uptill now i have not liked and loved any celebrity so madly...

Yes, even I felt really sad when Geet ended but the moment I saw the promo of PV, I was waiting desperately for it to start. Not even for once I thought that oh no!!! He's not with DD, because at that time, I wanted to see HIM on screen and everything else never mattered. He is an ACTOR, and he will have to portray many roles with many actress, we cant bind him to anyone character. Where GHSP earned him the love of teenagers, PV has earned him the RESPECT as an actor from ALL age group.

And guys, these ranking are really of no importance, yes, it hurts to see him on No. 4 EVERYTIME, but we must not forget that people in PV are mostly working women who nearly get any time, so they might be commenting on his profile may be only once a day or sometime they might be getting any time to comment, but this really doesnt mean his number of fans has decreased.

So, chill, as far as we are on the forum, we will try our level best to increase his ranking but we must not forget there is a SILENT MAJORITY who are as crazy as we are for him...

And these ranking doesnt tell the caliber of any actor. Even Kratika is far more better actress when it comes to serious acting. She has done a VARIETY of character in her career. So, we must be happy that PV have them as main leads, they dont believe in monotonous acting or roles. And when someone tries something new, people find it DIFFICULT to digest. But soon, everyone accepts it.
