After much welcoming for their arrival, Gayatri demanded Aarti take a bed rest and whatever she need will be brought to her. The condition of her pregnancy is no longer a secret to the entire household but they forego further discussion at the moment. What is important is Aarti and Ansh are safe and home. Yash favored his mother's order, only too ready to be at Aarti's beck and call.
The girls wouldn't let go of Aarti's hand till Yash had to pry them off, carrying both to take them to their room. Ansh has already said his goodnight, apparently tired from the whole mini-ordeal.
"You can have more time with mama tomorrow,"promised Yash," now, Mama needs to rest, okay?" The girls nodded in agreement.
"Yashji wait," she called out in still weak voice. Yash stopped midway to the door. Aarti stepped infront of him and gently placed a kiss on each girl's cheek," take my kiss and sweet dreams tonight, sweethearts."she whispered to them. Yash was filled with pride watching what Aarti just did.
Left alone, she looked around the room and smiled with the familiarity as if she has been gone for ages to miss it this much. She walked over the balcony door but did not open it. A sad looking moon shone tonight offering a dim view of the garden. Sighing, she went back to the events of the day from her cowardice run to Yash's frantic search of them. How heart warming to know that he did care for her, Ansh and the unborn. The love part is something she isn't sure yet. Tonight, she vowed to her self, i need to know and i will surely ask him before we go to sleep. I don't want to wake up tomorrow and go about the day feeling loved when it's only care that he can give.
The nagging thought of the good samaritan was another thing. Who has he? Why didn't he showed himself? It is a good thing to be helped but even more noble to acknowledge who helped. She remained standing there lost in thought, not hearing Yash's return to the room.
Yash closed the door slowly, his eyes immediately on the bed. Where is.. and he saw her staring outside. With measured pace, he stood a few steps behind her, drinking in on the beauty of the silent figure she made. His eyes began to moist from the though of nearly losing her. Before he could stop himself, he had already stepped closer and wrapped his arms around her waist from the back one hand resting on the slight bump of her tummy.
Aarti nearly jumped from the sudden embrace. She closed her eyes when she felt his breath near her ears and his other finger laced to hers. The thumping of her heartbeat was deafening and tried to quell it with one long intake of air.
"Maybe i be privy to my wife's thoughts?" there was a playful note to his tone.
Aarti turned, still in his embrace, and faced him staring directly into the night pools of his bedroom eyes. The moment she did, Yash felt like a man being strangled and out of his own will did the only thing his mind exercised to do. He lowered his lips to claims hers like a man on his last breath and all the longing transferred to Aarti's whole being that she herself shed a tear or two.
When he finally let go of her lips, Aarti closed her eyes barely able to breath and all flushed up, rested his head on his shoulders and whispered," you shouldn't kiss me like this unless your mind', pointing a lazy finger to his temples," and your heart mean it like that," down to his heart.
Yash barely able to control his chuckling replied," and you shouldn't tease me on a moonshine this achingly bright...I love you, Aartiji," there, the words he found it difficult to keep are finally out.❤️❤️❤️..
Goodnight/morning to my beloved PV residents😉
