Ansh --><--Palak
I have to leave soon, so I am going to do a very quick reaction take today.
I don't know if there is any deep analysis to be had in this thought, but watching Aarti dance in Neelam's Sangeet, it reminded me that her first entry in the show was dancing at Maansi's Sangeet. At that time she was alone, looked down upon by society for being a divorcee, but now she has Yash by side, and he also has her.
While Yash was running around, I kept thinking, what is he doing? Then he finds Kunal all locked up and bound, and I wondered, since when was he locked up, in the house too? What kind of parents keep their daughter's forbidden lover locked up in their own house during her marriage preparations? Weird!
What? They brought Kuanl and Neelam home with them? Yeah, like the family is not going to find out. What would they do if the kids came running to their room? Not to mention, if Neelam's parents were to figure out who took her away, they would come banging on the Scindia's door. Again, weird.
Well, I didn't like how he was saying it, and that he kept blaming Aarti only, but Casanova was not wrong in his anger and not knowing where the two of them had gone, why they did it behind everyone's back, and why they had Vidhi lying to cover up for them. I did wish that Yash had put his foot down and said "I was the one who took Aarti out, so stop saying she took me out." However, since Neelam and Kunal are listening to all this and seeing how Aarti and Yash are in trouble for supporting them, I want them to stand up and fight for their own rights. Seriously, all they have to do is get the media involved and say that my parents are trying to force me into marriage and keeping my boyfriend locked up, when we both are old enough to get married and if either one of us ends up dead, then it's their fault. Or maybe not that, but something, instead of crying and trying suicide. Hopefully, with what was shown in the precap they will end up doing something.
As an aside, when Yash was telling Neelam that if her parents didn't agree to the marriage right then, that they would eventually because parents care about their kids, I was just rolling my eyes. With all the tales of honor killings, and not all of them happening in rural villages only, but also cities, it is very naive of him to assure Neelam that her parents will come around. Oh well, that's our Yash, a dreamer and idealist.
