Hitler Didi has a strong female protagonist who, despite her strong and independent character, does adjust and sacrifice for her family but she is no doormat. Rather the show is about a reversal of roles with the female lead the stronger person who rarely exhibits her emotions and the male lead is the sensitive and supportive partner, who bears her insults but sticks by her. The show even had the woman propose to the man rather than the other way around. Unfortunately in the trp charts it isn't doing well. So as Sam says, who is to blame?

One show which has caught my attention and seems to strike a balance between romance, drama and comedy with a liberal dash of sensitivity thrown in is Na bole tum na maine kuch kaha.
