@ enchanted-
Maybe thay want to show that. But if they have to take an inspiration, better take it from Arth, than Balika Vadhu. I love that movie. Initially Shabana also begged her husband to return, but after that she accepted the reality and carved her own identity, and when her husband pleaded for forgiveness she asked him that timeless question...Would he have forgiven her,had she gone off with another man,and then wanted to return? And I loved the ending too, where she decides to live a life of her own, without the support of any man(though I felt terribly sorry for Raj)... Of course I dont want Aarti to leave Yash in this case😆

Yeah very true I guess we will see the real strong Aarti when Prashant comes back later .

@ Anantha-

arthi... It is not self respect or self esteem issues she has(al though it may be there after her hubby dumped her to be with another woman) 😕...It's to do with the family she found through Prashant she did not want to let go off... She is an orphan who found a mom 'Shobha' and Dubey through her connection Prashant. This is her family now.. If she severs the connection with Prashant..she can never go back to having her safe zone..her home with the Dubeys...That is why she pleaded with Prashant ..literally begging him .

Yeah very one of the reasons she still clings to the hope that Prashant could come back.

- Aarti's rejection: From the point where Aarti started calling out to Prashant in desperation to the very end of the episode, Kratika stole the show. All I remember at this point was that I was overwhelmed by the way she portrayed Aarti's desperate attempts to reconcile with Prashant...the strain in her voice and the way she sank to the floor was heartbreaking, to say the least. Oh, and I loved how she fainted and let the kangan drop from her limp hand - very well done! The symbolism of it (as mentioned before in this topic) is very much one of the reasons I loved this part even more.

@Borna: Simply beautiful WU, my friend👏 The nuances they have worked into this show is amazing. Aarti screams her love out, but Prashant just jerks her hand and walks away, and she keeps on calling till she faints...he doesn't even glance back. On the other hand, Yash rushes up to her side in response to her silent need...it was such a glorious contrast😊

As always, thank you for reading, my dear! 😊
I LOVE nuances...I love examining details and subtle gestures. (I can't take OTT "trip-fall-catch-stare" scenes...Unless they're done in a relatively natural manner, that is, since Indian TV isn't about to let go of its Hindi Serial Conventions anytime soon.) But yes, the nuances and the portrayal of those nuances is truly amazing. That scene is a reference to Prashant's earlier rejection (I think Samana mentioned it in her take) and I loved the feeling of familiarity that I got while watching the entire exchange between Aarti and Prashant. Heartbreaking, yes. But SUCH a glorious contrast, as you said! Yash just...Ahhh, I felt so touched by the way he rushed up those stairs and dropped down beside her after seeing for a brief moment that nobody was helping her. It was such a spontaneous gesture, full of concern and care...That silent relationship continues to strengthen from his side - Yash is so very perceptive about Aarti when he's not in his Arpita Labyrinth!
You know, Gurmeet and Kratika have impressed me immensely...I knew Kratika was going to be incredible with her expressions and voice modulations since I'd watched some of her JKR stuff and she took my breath away with how much she imbibed her character's mannerisms (and what an aura she has!) and she has been living up to and going beyond my expectations, but Gurmeet has been a pleasant surprise indeed! I think I won't be able to think of him as anything other than a soft-spoken, tender-hearted man for a very long time now that I've seen him as Yash. I feel like this character suits his voice and appearance, too...The two of them as a pair...That's for the GC-KS AT, if I ever find the time to spare from this thread! 😆

But it is Yash who picks her up and finally wakes her up and he is the first person she sees when he does"

Bold: Righto, Borna. His equation with Aarti is totally independent of his equation with Arpita. So far, not once has he compared...later he may do so, but that might be in context with the kids. He will relate to Aarti, the woman, as one to one. She will surprise him in more ways than one, and he is bound to get up and take notice then. She alreay intrigues him at some level😛

Wonderful discussions all 👏
@Indu :"Awesome take 👏..I said the same thing that Aarti will finally get to see the difference between Prashant and Yash and this is where she will realise the meaning of true love when she will see the divine love that Yash has for his dead wife whereas Prashant is someone who only gave rejection and humiliation to his wife who is all alive with his kid ...This is what will make Aarti fall for Yash slowly 😳...But I m not sure how Yash is going to come out of this Arpita trance and fall for Aarti ..something has to happen which will make Yash fall for Aarti ...I dont want the reason to b just kids ..it should b something more intense and passionate 😳
@Borna :Its always a pleasure to read your takes 👏👏...I said the same in Aarti's defence that this is the max a woman can do for her man by almost giving away her own self-respect ...Aarti did the same and falls down on her feet but Prashant still leaves her all stranded in the temple when Yash comes to her rescue and almost gives her a new life which is why when Aarti comes back to her senses ,the first word she speaks is "I m all empty-handed now" 😭😭...this means finally she frees herself from that haunting past of Prashant and thats why we see a smiling Aarti in the precap 😳...In future even if Prashant wants to return ,Aarti will b giving him the same humiliation and rejection like Prashant gave her today ..its all about karma which will hit Prashant hard ...
@Samana :I loved that background score too when AarYa enters the house ...it was so positive and lively as if both r all set to start a fresh life without anymore fears or guilt of past 😳😳...
@Shubhi :U know I dont want Yash to put Arpita's kangan in Aarti's hand ever ...I want Yash to buy a new kangan for Aarti and gift it to her ,the day Yash is all prepared to accept her as his wife fully 😳😳...I want Yash to give some dialogues like how Aarti has a separate place in his heart since she has her spearate identity which he loves and respects and so he will always love her as Aarti 😳😳

Samana!
Bookmarked the link 😃 Thnku so much for that 😳
Not only Kuch na kaho but every movie that tries to depict a woman contrary to the abla-naari label becomes a flop in our country🥱 That reminds me 2 of my favourite Women-centric movies! Lajja starring a dozen of talented bollywood ladies & Pinjar (based on a very special novel by Amrita Pritam...The movie has a special place at my heart because my family suffered a lot during partition & I have grown up hearing those tales thereby movies like Pinjar & Gadar wrenches my heart giving me goosebumps! )😭
Coming to Sita , I remember... in 9th std we were given Ramayana verses to study in Hindi & as a side note we were taught that every Woman carries a Sita in her heart but same can't be expected by Men & till date I couldn't understand that statement 😕
Maybe it means...A man can't love his woman the way a woman loves her man 🤔

Actually, Jyo, I don't think it will be hard for Yash to fall for Aarti. In fact I think the wheels are already in motion, with his concern for her, his relationship to her being totally separate from that of Arpita and the way he looks at her when she is interacting with the kids. To combine Indu and my interpretation, Pankaj felt that intuition that Aarti will make Yash smile again just by seeing the way Yash reacted to her. Neither of them were anywhere close to smiling but Pankaj saw that potential for a smile in Yash's investment and concern for Aarti's well-being.

Yash feels so secure entering this relationship that he won't hold anything back and so he is leaving a lot of room for his feelings for Aarti to creep up on him, through all the empty spaces he doesn't notice, left by his being in a relationship with someone who is no longer able to be in the relationship with him.

So I think Yash will fall for Aarti quite easily. The problem will be him realising and acknowledging it as he won't notice it happening, just like he didn't notice yesterday, but once he does there will be a lot of resistance and guilt.

On the other hand I think it will take a long time for the difference between Yash and Prashant to sit firmly in Aarti's head. I think she will desist from even comparing, always noting that Yash is a nice guy but never really making the connection of Prashant not being one. It will take some sort of huge confrontation, where she can literally see the two in front of her and the stark contrast between them for all the evidence to come zooming into perspective, allowing her to realise what makes Yash different.

So the problem for Aarti will be falling for Yash in the first place, ridding her mind of the zidh that she will always love Prashant and letting someone else in the way she wanted to let Prashant.

great job guys...brilliant analysis by all...really loved samana & jyoti's takes @page 1...
@samana: aarti doesn't listen & yash listens...this idea is simply brilliant...
it is really annoying to watch aarti's pleading...but women can be like this...many educated women also do huge compromise...i think the CVs intentionally chose the rude way to knock some sense into her head...
