Wow, just wow! Another flawless piece! If only, if only, if only...these were the only words running in my head as I read Yash's confession! That was absolutely perfect, the frustration, impatience, and control Yash exhibited in those few moments to get Aarti's attention and clear up all the misunderstandings, man if only we get to see that on the show! I think all of us will probably end up dying with a scene like this!
I find it really, really ironic that the thing that finally broke the verbal dam from Yash's side was Aarti telling him that she can't marry him. He had been waiting for the right opportunity to talk to her, and had been thwarted every time, but when she goes and tells him that she wants to call off the wedding, he knows that he needs to clear her misconception, because in a way he has accepted her as his daughter's mother and despite having no personal attachment to her, he does want to let her go, for the sake of his daughters!
And to add another twist, that whole misunderstanding about Yash's character was the farthest thing from her mind when she came to tell him the truth about her being a divorcee. It's fitting that the one time she is not hesitant to approach him, he clears away the misguided sketch that she had of him in her head throwing her into a complete standstill!
Lastly, I would LOVE another part to this, just to see Yash's reaction and how he convinces her and his parents about the wedding! Your writing is so freaking perfect and realistic that I can see it all happening on the show, so I would love to see how you deal with the fallout of this, especially from Yash's side! But, and I am totally being shameless here, please, please, please, give us the next part of your FF first, I am absolutely dying for an update for that! :)
