Ok a interesting symbolism by apni Deeps ..she is stuck in work ..so cant come online ..just told me this on FB 😳
see that shot in both the following two pictures ...first Yash looms/protects Aarti from behind and then walks along with her
symbolism
he protects her from evils of society and then dares to claim her and walk with her on his own
and she is just left staring at him 😳 he is silently indicating that he is indeed her knight in shining armor...

@Jyo and Mansi: Yes, I think their mutual guilt over remarriage and so called unfaithfulness to their previous marriages is going to be the single largest hurdle in their acceptance of each other and this relationship as anything more than a compromise. Here we see Yash showing the first sign of healthy behaviour yet on the show, and that is enjoying the present moment, instead of living in the past, for one instant as he looks at Aarti playing with Ansh. For that one second, he doesn't forget his past but stops living in it and comes out to see the joy of the present and the hope of the future.

However, the guilt overcomes him after he sinks back into his old habit of reliving moments with Arpita and is shocked back into the present by the clap of thunder. I guess in some ways we could compare Aarti to that clap of thunder that snaps him out of his habit of living in the past and shows him the beauty of the present and the future. Nobody is saying Yash should forget Arpita but he cannot LIVE off of her memories now that she is gone. But that guilt, coupled with ego, is not going to wear off soon, given how much these two have touted their undying love to their spouses.

@Priti: I loved your points! I also loved the female version of the song. The lower-pitched voice of the singer suits Aarti;'s voice as well as going with the mature tone of the story.

@Jyoti and Samana:
In normal love stories it is all about discovery of feelings and acknowledgement of those feelings. Whereas in this kind of remarriage, there is the additional complication that first old feelings of guilt have to be erased otherwise they cannot even get to first base i.e. discovery of new feelings. And to make matters worse, one person may get over the guilt faster than the other can. It is a very tricky situation to try and shed old guilt, na? Never know when it will pop up and set back the relationship.

At the end
a) Again Mansi's crap - how many times !!!
b) We all know by now why they are getting married !!!!
c) Yash - aarti not talking
All that I liked was
a) Prateek - Paridi talks
b) Shobha overhearing mansi and scolding her and taking her away

Jyo has written superb analysis...
Truly Jyo I loved Shobha today..
By saying that she has the habit of exaggerating the things and by telling her that stop scaring Aarti... she just eliminated that evil chatter box beautifully..
Now my question here is...
When Aarti knows her friend so well why in the world she is taking her words over her mother in laws words who has always guided her in the right direction.
The talks of Mansi is totally clouding her judgment about Yash and she being a pretty resonable person is allowing those thoughts to prevail even though she knows that her MIL is right..
Without her relization did she make unconcisious decision not to like Yash personally??? knowing her sad history with her ex husband whom she still thinks to love... Is she purposely trying to find faults with this man so that she can protect her wounded heart???
Other than that I love those silent communication with their eyes...
Though getting down from the Police Van Aarti had to asked handcuff to be opened and be more practical then preoccupied Yash. He is a man of few words and let his action speaks louder then the words but in case of Aarti his actions spoke differently loud and Aarti completely took him for jerk..
Even in the rain when her dupatta flew on his face Yash was too slow to act and Aarti had to snatch it from his hands. that added one more "bad things" for Yash..
But that walking in the rain... Aarti all puffed up with anger almost running to go to home... and Yash realizing that it is pretty late and she should not be walking alone as whatever fiasco happened was his fault...
Inspite of AArti showed her independence and many things and asked Yash angrily and rudely not to follow her the true gentleman Yash could not stop himself but followed her and escorted her without a word..
I think Aarti may have expected him to offer erxplanation and come out of the "guilty party" status and prove himself right or show her any attitude but he did not.. He simply walked besides her protecting her and giving her company while she was all alone on the roads... He simply walked by her side making her feel his protective presence..
And that is the reason... so pissed up Aarti could not shut the gate on his face but gently glided the gate as not to insult him futther. She must will realise later in her inner being that she is just keeping the facade of not liking him on the surface..
Absolutely loved Gurmeet.. He has proved to day that indeed he is the king of expressions.. the way he changed his expressions watching Ansh and Aarti were beautiful... His realization that he has done the right thing for his daughters.. In that sense he also concluded that his mother was not right in her demands.
The FB of Arpita was pretty cute.. and Gurmeet did superb in that scene also loved the way his transition from past to present situations...
over all lovely episode and love the talk of the silence...

@Mansi and Samana :I guess in this case its Yash who might come out of the guilt phase before Aarti because Arpita is dead (unless there is some mystry involved) whereas Aarti knows that Prashant still exists ...
even today we saw Yash shows the first signs of forgetting his past and enjoying the present phase of his life when he sees Aarti playing with Ansh but later like Samana said his guilt takes over and he goes for the justification
but when it comes to Aarti she is fully living in her past ...she is yet to accept the present ..she is yet to accept that Yash is a perfect father for Ansh whereas Yash already accepted that Aarti is a perfect mother for his kids ...so I feel Yash will b first one to actually accept the present when the falling in love phase starts ...

@Eva:Actually when it comes to relationship with your husband after marriage ,there r many questions which raise in a girl's mind which she cannot ask her elders and so in such cases ,a girl trusts a friend's advice more than her elder's advice ...even though Aarti is doing a remarriage but its her first arranged marriage in a way where Yash is a stranger for her and so she is curious to know what happens in a arranged marriage and since Mansi herself did arranged marriage ,so she is trusting her views in this case ...
And yup Aarti was quiet and gave Yash a fair chance to speak but like I said Yash does not believe in justifying himself with words ..he will rather let his actions speak more than words 😉😳

A few random points that I wrote about in PinkChoco's lovely post...
This is one of those episodes that I won't mind watching multiple times (then again, all the episodes of Punar Vivaah so far are really good!) so I'll do that...There are SO many details that I feel like discussing, but more than that, I just feel like basking in the beauty of all of those unspoken feelings that we got to see from Yash and Aarti...
The dagger-glares were priceless. Every time! Aarti's capable of burning someone with the intensity of her anger, but I love that Yash meets her fiery nature head on and faces it with tolerance.
Yash was very perceptive, and he's got his heart in the right place, as ironic as that sounds since I agree that he's mostly the mind in this relationship at this point especially...Aarti, on the other hand, is so blinded by the fog induced by Maansi's bakwaas jaap that she can't see how to get out of if...It's like being stuck in a place where nothing can be seen at all. I can't wait to see when Aarti's hatred of a Yash that she has essentially created in her mind fades away for good.
That "conversation" in the midst of the downpour was rather cute, I felt. Aarti's determination washes away in a second and Yash's dilemma about starting to speak to her is resolved since they both get a "Woh..." out at the exact same time and then all speech leaves them. It's fascinating that all these dupatta moments aren't making me cringe - I had a feeling they'd make them more realistic, and so far they're living up to my expectations to the point where I end up smiling at the way the scenes have been executed.
Aarti's hesitation at the gate...I LOVED that entire scene...I also wondered why she left the gate open at first (maybe she wanted to give him the option of coming inside since he was soaking wet?), then the significance of the symbolism set in, and it just made the rest of the scene so much more beautiful! Aarti turning around slowly, watching him for a moment, and then leaving the gate open instead of closing it like I was expecting...
And then the way Yash turns to leave after Aarti goes inside the gate, but one call of "Maa!" from Ansh has Yash turning around instantly to watch the mother and son's interaction. Yash's smile (I had to watch that scene twice to make sure it was a smile!) spreads over his face and there's a serenity that emanates from him in that moment as he watches Aarti hug Ansh and smile so openly. She's transformed into a woman whose inner child shines brightly without relinquishing the maturity she has gained over the years - she said they'd play for five minutes, and five minutes it was!
Oh, and the shot of Yash's ring followed by a smooth move to Ansh and Aarti playing in the rain together...That was beautiful. Yash's bond with the two of them...through that ring...The first step towards building a new life for all of them.
Random aside: I LOVE the music of this show, oh my god. All the instrumentals since Episode 1...And today...Wow. The duet version of 'Yeh Dil Hai' is so, so pretty! I've been waiting for it anxiously ever since that dargah promo, and what an amazing episode to finally hear it!
Well, I'm off to watch the episode again!
PS - How freaking cute are our two to-be-married couples?! The contrast between our silent, struggling soulmates Yash and Aarti and the carefree, devoted, innocent darlings Prateek and Paridi is so well portrayed! How is it that each and every episode of this show has a million things worth discussing?
