@jyoti: ummm ! you knw wat i was thinking... CV's r ignoring the gals & their longing for a mother because that would have made the show very dramatic & heart-wrentching to watch .

@swan20: agree but to some extent... reason because yes! Yash has changed after his beloved wife's death but when it comes to his daughter...he too doesn't show his pain to them & becomes cheerful & Lively with them...we all have witnessed this in their 'only' scene together...when he became playful with them...😊
btw may i knw ur good name? swan20 😊

@UrshP- hopefully tomorrow's episode will be much better than what they showed in the precap and promo... the show has been pleasantly surprising me with each episode so there are chances that we wont be disappointed tomorrow...

Re: the race and Aarti losing, I think that it is showing the awkwardness of her situation rather than the literal need for a father. It is not like Ansh can't win the race with his mother, it is not like she can't give this to him but this is not just about the race. The race is merely an instigator for a much bigger, latent issue to come to the fore. It is an extension of the letters he leaves under his pillow. Aarti thinks that by plying him with material gifts she is making up for the absence of a father and here too she thinks she can make up just by winning the race.

Now had she won the race there would have been no issue raised but she doesn't and that gives way to a rage that I think Ansh has bottled up inside him.

First of all, you can imagine that Ansh will already sense some awkwardness because he is the only one there with his mother rather than a father. Kids can be REALLY mean about these small things and this is actually quite a big thing. Now again, if they had won, no issue. But they don't and this is probably the first time in Ansh's life that Aarti has let him down. He is bound to react as violently as he can and he says the one thing that he knows will hurt his mother the most (again, kids can be REALLY mean) but which also expresses the feeling he has of something missing in his life, provoked into expression by his disappointment at losing the race and even moreso his disappointment of his mother's fall from her pedestal as a larger than life figure.

So I think what the show is trying to say is that Ansh needs a dad, not because Aarti is incapable of doing everything a man can do, but because the "things" are just not enough. Ansh wants that feeling of belonging, both with his peers and with a father, when he is feeling extremely alienated from both ends at this moment. So Ansh needs a father to fill the void that is now starting to develop in his life.

He has bottled up all his emotions so is finding it hard to demonstrate to his children what he really feels for them. Aarti on the other hand is much more open despite the betrayals of the past. She is a much more giving person. She's showering all her love on her son openly while Yash feels the emotion but is unable to show it... I think post marriage he will come out of this shell and be more demonstrative...😳

The other way of looking at it is mentally women r more stronger than men 😃 ...a Man falls weak or gives up soon in life once he looses his loved ones or goes through betrayals whereas such situations makes a women more stronger and she keeps her hopes alive again for a second chance in life ...
Here also we saw Yash was so dejected at the thought of remarriage and was remembering his first marriage excitement whereas Aarti next morning was already taking indirect tips for marriage from Mansi like any other girl whose marriage is on the cards Embarrassed..
Aarti seems to b mentally prepared for this marriage whereas Yash is still in that shell ...

@Jyo...yep women are more resilient. If we compare, Aarti's situation is worse. She was betrayed by the person she loved. Yash lost his wife but he at least has her fond memories to cling to and the satisfaction that she loved him till the very end. But despite this Aarti has coped with the situation much better than Yash. Just proves that men maybe strong physically but emotionally they always need an anchor. A woman provides them stability and without her they are lost...😳

@Zee ...I read the article.. Its just seems like one biased opinion ..wont matter. TRPs make the final call ... The show has a good strong story and script weaving together...Side characters are strong .. The show in the first week packed a punch.. It is gonna get better and better especially after marriage.. 😎

@Samana:Aarti loosing the race is trying to show that Aarti is trying too hard to become a father figure for her kid and thats why she is failing ..see even Yash failed to comb his kids ka hair properly which was the duty of a mother ..both r shown trying too hard to prove a point but few things r not in their hand .....
After remarriage ,both will get the much needed balance in thier life ...
