I expected this and it looks like some sort of business strategy by the PH. First week, get EVERYONE to watch with fast-paced, gripping episodes and then by the second week, settle into the natural rhythm of the story which is much slower and hope that most of the people will hang on.

And it seems to have worked. 2.1 is an excellent starting point off of which they can build slowly, with all the drama they have stored up. All the other shows are well into their story and reaching various climaxes in their stories and we are not at all far behind them.

But they do have to fix the dragging problem. I know we can justify it by character detailing etc, and I do but my mother who watches with me is bored and wants something to happen. We can't ignore the common viewer who is not watching to analyse but watching purely for entertainment, giving up their other shows of that time slot to do so. But I am sure the PH and channel know this and are building the story and the drama very deliberately.

this will rise soon...once yash and arti get married that is when TRPs will increase...

It dropped to 2.1and even NBTNMK,MKAP have surged ahead. I am not surprised. Last week was very slow. Esp after the way the had established the pace,characters and story in the first week. Yes we are more patient with the flaws,but general audience isn't. The show really needs to pick up pace now. And plz no more of Aarti as dukhiyari,abla nari, helplessly shedding tears for the husband who left her 4 years ago,in every other scene. I know I am being a bit too blunt but I am not at all convinced, by the U turn makers did on Aarti's character ,showing her strong and self respecting in first week and then turning her into faithful,grieving,pining,crying,helpless wife. Even now Aarti is being shown like 16 year old virgin. We get her fear of physical relationship,but there's no need to hammer it in every single scene. So its time for makers to pull up their socks a bit, give equal importance to both Yash and Aarti,rather than just focusing on plight of one, speed things up a bit,show us more contentwise,and show something substantial and new in every episode rather than just dragging and rehashing the same point again and again.

With the engagement happening this week, hopefully we'll gain our momentum once again :)

hmmn... i was expecting it to drop because of the dragging last week but i din't expect it to drop so much... i hope it rises with the engagement and the wedding coming up... and i hope it always remains above 2... all four shows in this time slot are strong in terms of content and cast... it's tough competition...

I was expecting this drop because compared to all the high points that happened in shows like BALH or Pratigya , all we saw in PV was simply dragging episodes of Aarti crying when all were expecting AarYa meeting ...
