About Eijaz Khan
Eijaz majored in civil engineering from a prestigious college in Airoli. Eijaz began his tv career with the show "Kesar" on Star Plus. Eijaz was known as Ekta Kapoor's blue eyed boy. He was seen in cameos and pivotal roles in many popular serials ; kahiin to hoga, kkoi dil mein hai, kayamath, kasamh se.
Eijaz rose to fame in TV with his popular show Kkavyanjali which made him a household name along with his co star Anita Hassanandini. When Eijaz was working in Kkavyanjali (balaji telefilms) , he was also working in Kkya Hoga Nimmo Ka. Both the serials saw him in lead roles. His jodi with Sanjeeda Sheikh was also appreciated. Eijaz has a large female fan following who are wowed by his versatility.
Eijaz in films
Eijaz first appeared in a bollywood film named "Thakshak" in 1999. He then appeared in a film " Maine dil tujhko diya" as a special appearance. He also featured in the song " dilli ki sardi" in the movie " zameen". He also did an item number in Kuch na kaho (with abhishek bacchan and aishwaria rai) . His last recent appearance in bollywood was "just married" but he had a guest appearance and the other was meerabai not out (2008). Tanu weds Manu saw him in a lead role in 2011. Now he is waiting on his next bollywood release "lucky kabootar" which is set to release on 6th december, 2013.
Eijaz's career setback
Eijaz was unable to work for two years for a shoulder injury. He was at the peak of his career when the injury happened. He went through a lot in the time he wasn't working emotionally but now he feels he is happy and fulfilled. This year he did a cameo in Diya Aur Baati Hum and then went on to play a lead role in Punar Vivah Ek Nayi Umeed.
Reality show : He was all set to enter Jhalak Dikhlaa Ja Season 6 but he couldn't for his shoulder injury.
Vikrant Suryavanshi
Vikrant Suryavanshi is the lead role opposite Sarita. He would do anything for his son who he loves more than life itself. Although, he loves his son a lot but due to busy schedule he is not able to spend enough time with it and he has an attitude of buying everything with money. When Sarita's ex husband tries to arrange her Punar Vivah, Vikrant puts forward the proposal of wanting to marry Sarita as his son, Abhimaan loved Sarita ever since she saved him from an accident , he started calling her "mamma". However, Vikrant is shown to be emotional but he tries to appear strong and has a huge ego. His character in Punar Vivah has a lot of different shades which makes the story more interesting. Right now, after a lot of ups and down he is married to Sarita. Now we will see how Vikrant and Sarita will manage their Punar Vivah.
