why I feel Sarita, divya and Raj are behaving differently. Hmmm let me try to explain.Sarita- from the beginning she has been very self absorbed and wasn't even acknowledging Divya's pain and help. I remember calling her a bully. Also, I remember reading comments about her insensitivity when she told Divya about bed sharing and did not register Divya's hurt. Today she was gracious in acknowledging that Divya does not owe her anything, also accepted that it is tough for Divya. She also tried to understand Gaurav's issues and calmly explain to him why she thought he was wrong. Agree that she had other motives but when have we ever seen Sarita capable of understanding others' pov. For whatever reason, she expressed gratitude to Divya and accepted that she has no claim on her. Such clarity of thought is not something I expect from Sarita. Sure she has had some lucid moments but they were always about understanding or accepting the hopelessness of her own situation.
Ruchi Sarita had her moments of clarity before too. I have mentioned this before that she is someone who knows deep in her heart what is the truth but due to her needs and emotions she usually gets influenced and she overlooks what her heart has been telling her. Once she told dadi that what is the use in carrying this relationship...she has waiting enough for the showers of love to touch her but then got influensed by dad's talks...she has even told Shiela that if everything fails she will join Divya and Raj but then promptly got hit by jealousy when she saw saw Raj gazing at Divya in adoration. She has also been shown trying to keep track of Divya by gifting her a pair of payals, she herself acknowledged this later on that she did this because she did not believe Divya. Now yesterday she saw this man coming in the house and she knew that Raj is around and so is Divya around...and she whisked him away to the bedroom. She did try to put Gaurav's insecurity at rest by saying that she is nothing for Divya and that Divya is doing all this becuase she wants to bring Raj and her together so that Gaurav and Divya can have a life together. That implied that Divya wants to remove Raj from her life and herself from Raj's life. That is the reason why I asked that whether she is aware that Divya is not over Raj? This was followed by her silence when Divya let it slip that she and Raj used to enjoy life before...that made me again wonder that is she aware that Divya is not over Raj? But then she prompty became happy when Divya started talking about Sarita and Raj. Idf Sarita can think about getting a pair of payals to kep a track of Divya then why can't she make sure that Gaurav's does not get insecure. This will mean that Gaurav will be around and Divya can get back to him and not hang around for Raj to again have second thoughts regarding her and himself. The only slight change that I have seen in Sarita is that she is not constantly snapping at Divya...maybe after Divya proved to her that she will chose her over Raj's emotions made her be secure that there is someone who cares just for her feelings and emotions and is putting her first but she still fires up when she feels that Divya is getting attention when she should be getting (her snatching the pakoras when Kamla was handing them over to Divya). I will only consider her to have a true growth in her character when she puts Divya before her own needs and emotions, even knowing that she might loose Raj in this process.Divya - we all loved the openness and honesty inherently present in her. The way she accepted before her siblings that she was jealous of sarita, how she was so direct with gaurav about her past, her feelings. Now, on sarita's insistence she did not pursue the direct approach - that's still ok. She tried to make raj realize his mistakes, that's also fine. But her micro managing raj is something I find very weird. She is almost herding Raj towards Sarita - cook food, candle light dinner, eat in bedroom. Sarita Raj relation is opposite of open or honest at the moment and both are equal partners in that but Divya is the master planner. Goal oriented she is but does that description cover all the deceit, stupidity and manipulation? No it does not cover all deceit, stupidity and manipulation. Divya is doing wrong and I have said this before...Divya is the master planner but I cannot give Sarita a clean chit. She is aware of what is happening and she is happily carrying on with no hesitation that all the attention and care that she is getting from Raj is due to manipulation.Divya is aware that she is playing with Raj emotions but Sarita has no issues regarding that. Divya is not being honest to others but she is being honest to herself...Dhe knows that she is doing wrong and probably also knows that she has to face consequences.Raj - well he's an enigma but based on whatever we have seen in the beginning Raj resented Sarita emotionally ( though was a little courteous at times) and Sarita was afraid of him. The venom with which he rejected her after their wedding was striking. She even thought he was capable of hitting her. Now suddenly he's sharing bed with her - that was his choice and not asked by Divya. He's wiping off her tears, spelling 'candle light dinner' - he could have just kept mum after lighting the candles. Raj focuses on one thing and becomes blind to everything else...I think Angie mentioned this...earlier he was focused on his pain regarding loosing Divya and he directly/indrectly played a role in Sarita's neglect and ill treatment for 10 years. Now he is focussed on giving Sarita some happines becuase he thinks that she is dieing but then in his eagerness regarding doing it...he is again going over the top. The thing that stands out for me regarding Raj is the sudden change in him as soon as Divya appeared on the scene. That was as if he has been hit by bat on his head and that has made his brains turn 180 degrees...so he wakes up. If only that was done a bit slowly.no wonder Gaurav is going crazy - how else can he keep up with these 3? ahh so it is Myra's The Four musketeers.😉
