Thanks everyone for liking my version (or lets say Mittals' version) of this fairytale.
@aimf: Thanks. For last few days, Kamla's screeching daughters were reminding me of somebody. Then I remembered that it was Cindrella's step sisters - one who was big and one who was thin in the movie. Then everything else fell in a proper place.
@Latanzia, Thanks. I have a feeling that this story was being developed for a different show. But then when they decided to bring in PV2, this story was molded to suit the theme. Hence, the use of PV again and again for Raj and Sarita's wedding.
I can see why it is becoming boring for audience. The story is unrealistic to a large extent but then are most of Hindi soap stories. What matters is the selling of that story to audience. That is done by introducing interesting main characters and side characters. Here main characters are interesting and some side characters are interesting too. But they are changing these complex lead characters (all 3 of them) in one-dimensional characters because they refuse to show the backstory to explain the logic. So if they slow down the pace and build some characterization instead, audience would probably connect more to the show.
It doesn't matter who the jodis are or for whom audience root. What matters is that lead characters should connect with audience. By keeping so much of Raj in dark and even keeping Divya/Sarita hidden, they are losing that connection. I do not see the reason for this fast pace when there is so much of the backstory that is kept hidden. I hope that now that Divya would come back into Raj's life, they start putting together the pieces of puzzle in a logical manner.
