they were initially thinking of casting rajat as ram n mugdha as sita.. they wanted to the swayamwar there.. but later on plan changed and DV came about.

I also had read about this. I used to watch Ramayan by sagars and now they are making it again with new cast I think may be they want to show certain things in more better way, or some thing they may have missed out earlier and want to show it to us.

lolz I dont think there is any need to cry..I dont know about the cast..but hope will not be very elder.

Anyways..abhi se dont cry..I dont think they will exactly show same thing with different actors.

The story and message of Ramayan is no doubt the same and will always be. But may be they have some more better ideas of presenting it in more creative way...baaki to dekh kar hi pata chale ga how it is..but I hope and expect better.
